From a long time GSD owner take it from me
1. Never ever beat your German sherpherd dog GSD, they never forget and when they get older u won't like them.

2. Never cage them all day, if you know u cant have the time or space to work him then better give him up for adoption now or you won't like the adult he will grow into.. GSD there extremely active dogs which makes them great security dogs.

3. He doesn't think he is the pack leader or he wouldn't listen to you even when u are in doors.

4. Never five your dog to quack trainers only use certified trainers, I am seeing alot of quacks giving you their numbers here asking you to call...you are better off using YouTube than giving your GSD to a quack who will only.beat him or maltreatment him.

5. GSD like all dogs need, live, patience and understanding..

You wouldn't expect a six month old human baby to know right from wrong so soon would you?

6. Treat him right and he will grow to be a very loving, and loyal friend for the rest of his life with you
Sir, Most of what you have said is just spot on, it shows you know a lot about dogs... but I disagree with two things

!. Flogging the dog. I believe the dogs are like children and you spare the rod and spoil the child . My GSD is 3 years now and I started flogging them from 3-4 months. i have different canes for different occasions. They love me and they obey me. They are 100% obedient when I talk to them . There was a time I called the name midway into a chase. she froze and ran into her cage! I think they should be beaten but not excessively.

A six month old dog is old enough to know right from wrong.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: See What a Bank Did To There IT Students by boladez(m): 7:39am On Jun 06, 2015
This is a very sensitive issue.

I don't blame Sterling bank for scrapping the IT programme I only wonder why they have not paid up for the periods worked. Probably there is more to the story we do not know.

Many upcoming , young ones I interact with seem to see no boundaries to the limit of hustling. I will ask a question from the following statements;

1. Your brother houses you and feeds you while you are still a student
2. Your brother works so hard and pays your fees in school and gives you pocket money
3. Your brother is building a house from his savings and sweat but has not time to supervise the work
4. You are on holidays and your brother asks you to supervise his house project and infact gives you tons of cash to buy materials

Now the question...will you make money from supervising his work?

The answer is YES for most younger ones and in my opinion this is the height of decadence that these ones take to their places of IT.

I have worked in a multinational that banned IT students because year on year they get defrauded. Hence I do not blame Sterling bank at all.

What the youth need to do is for the ones with clear heads to continue to try and impact those with warped minds and hopefully make them see the damage their single acts are causing the larger number of youth.

Here on Nairaland a guy wanted to buy cheap data being sold illegally undermining the GSM service providers , he got scammed and had the boldness to come out and mention. Such is the level of decadence.

Finally poster, a simple letter to the head of HR will make they pay your money. If you need help to do this, PM me, I will take it up but you need to give me full and accurate facts and be honest bout everything...come out clean.

You ought to be paid by the government thru ITF Industrial Training Fund
But in a country where d Students are taking for granted, the money allocated for the students thru ITF has been manipulated thru corruption [/size]
Correct Bro, but can you blame the ITF when student unions are busy chasing politicians and endorsing candidates for elections , offering the student bodies as thugs and miscreants.......in my almost 50 years , I have never seen Student unions so without focus and ineffective all my life!

Its not a Sterling Problem but a societal clamity

You're not in the state that's why u r spewing thrash. The local govt staff and pensioners who hav been short-changed for 2 months and state civil servants who hav not been paid even the 50% for May know better
Spewing thrash is a phrase I see every day on Nairaland from many who don't even understand the meaning. Just hear a word it sounds nice and throw it around without any originality. The same Low intellectual capacity makes you hear word in a beer palour and take it as truth without asking questions or exercising the God given grey matter you should have but lack. If you can slightly upgrade your thought process you will realise its better for a man who can see to stay afar than a blind man to stay close. I dont have to be In Kwara to know what is going on there ...all I need is to raise the game and ask questions in the right places.

Does your half or quarter wit tell you that there is a reason for the non payment other than using the money to pursue Saraki's Senate presidency?

Are you aware Kwara state is low on IGR?
Are you aware FGN share revenues are dwindling?
Are you aware KWSG is servicing loans?

why allow your beer parlour talk to spill into the streets? It does not make sense .....to those who have sense. Only saw dust brain like you will believe that there has been a pay cut for such flimsy and unintelligent reasons

Oga who is the sitting Governor , Bukola Saraki is the Governor of Kwara state .... Fatai is merely a Manager........ This ain't beer parlour , it is happening.
Thank you , There MUST be an official reason for the reduction is salaries ? is it unavailability of cash or a pay cut?

We are all quite aware the Federal government revenues are dwindling and some states have not paid salaries for months but that does not amount to pay cut.

My point is that how can people come up with the story line that the pay has been slashed to fund Saraki's senate presidency bid....its such a lazy shameful rumour. When I first saw the post, I called a relation who is a director in one of the ministries, he confirmed that they were making partial payments owing to the dwindling FG revenue sharing and low IGR. That is a more intelligent position.
PoliticsRe: 50% Pay Cut In Kwara by boladez(m): 7:12am On Jun 05, 2015
I find it distasteful when people sit in the corner of their rooms and cook up stories. How can a government slash salaries by 50% to pursue senate presidency! of a past governor......how stupid can a sitting governor be to do that?

Poster, where is the source? when did beer parlour discussion become a news item?

I am tired of the failings of Nigerian elites who are supposed to be educated and have sound minds

Can you imagine this rogue has not paid salaries for 17 months!

He should sell the furniture and pay his staff, using people's sweat and blood to shine!

Workers, Workers on Wednesday shut down the Benin studio of the African Independent Television (AIT) and Raypower FM Radio over in protest of over 17 months unpaid salaries.

The workers were blocked the main entrance to the station located along the Benin/Lagos bypass halting all operations of the broadcast media.

The management, however, invited anti-riot policemen to the station to forestall any break down of law and order.

The protesting workers numbering about 50 were said to have been owed salaries for between 12 and 17 months.

One of the workers told newsmen that newly employed staff of AIT were owed 12 months, old staff between 13 months and staff of the Raypower FM, 17 months.

He lamented that the stations generated millions of Naira on a daily basis, yet salaries were not paid by the management.

“It is sheer wickedness and man’s inhumanity to his fellow man. We have families to care for and children to pay their school fees.

“Many of our children have stopped going to school. But their own attend schools abroad,” he lamented.

The Chairman of the organisation, Raymond Dokpesi (Jnr), was said to have appealed to the protesters assuring that the management would within one week pay part of the salary arrears.

He was said to have threatened to pay off any staff that decides to resign from the establishment.

Last week as I drove by Onipanu at 9am I saw a man his wife and 2 children trying to cross right under the pedestrian bridge. I shouted that he should go and use the bridge but he said gbenu soun olosi .....shut up wretched man. Why should i say rip if he gets crushed.

The guy committed suicide with all the pedestrian bridges on that route...I guess he chose to die! Some people are too half witted to be alive. I guess he is one of them.

A grim reminder to all his fellow half witted comrades to USE THE PEDESTRIAN BRIDGES!

The BRT bus drivers are a menance they have no regard for human lives also. The are crazy about their right of way and their size.

The excuse is that robbers operate on the bridge which is a pure fallacy, there are guards and gen powered lights on the bridge and if many of the half wits use the pedestrian bridges the robbers will leave.

May God be with the family he has put in pain!

I have just discovered that we youth mostly on nairaland and other social networks are frustrated from insensitive administrations, families, communities, churches and mosques . We use slight opportunity to vent our frustrations. Why on earth must we abuse ourselves. Politicians use and feast these advantages and rape us more cos we are under the influence of opium called frustrations and tribalism.

The debt is incurred by past and present federal and state governments. Some people who are shouting to her haven't shouted to or asked our different state governments that borrowed which is part of debt. Then again Danjuma by this news was pointed to cos he was part of previous administration that borrowed largest chunk. Smart Ngo!

By extension, we need to ask ourselves is borrowing bad thing. Do we know how much America is owing?

The fact is that next or incoming administration will borrow too. We were told that they or we need N4.1 trillion to service debt owing by states and federal government. Which of course, they or we can not use our entire budget servicing debt. It doesn't make sense. So we go borrowing and the circle continues.

Instead of all these tribal abuses which our politicians feast on, let suggest solutions to her and the incoming administrations.

Then my solutions, opening up other sectors of income- Agriculture, explorations of other natural resources, education of minds of Nigerians.
Though much have been done in ICT, youths need to be aware of potential it has in 21century.
I share your thoughts 100% and I marvell when people leave the Politicians and bash tribes!

However in addition to what you have said. We need to kill corruption and treat is as a cancer!

A man who has been in government all his life who;

1 Has no family wealth inheritance
2 Has not done any business and his spouse is not known to have done or owned any business

Is able to live the life of affluence and afford all the luxuries of life......and no one asks him of the source of the wealth.

However if the government institutions start asking questions about sources of wealth, this will reduce corruption to the barest minimum.

With corruption the economy cannot grow. The cleaning has to start from the institutions saddled with the responsibility to clean up corruption

Sir, be fair to even yourself, the signs that say NO PARKING are clearly all over that zone why then did you park? You did not mistakenly park there...you deliberately parked there. That action causes a lot of traffic , people may miss their flights and indeed it is a security risk to everybody. Again you have placed self over others.

FAAN provided more than enough parking spaces which are meant to be used

Im sure you are well scholled and educated, that airforce man likely is a school cert....he displayed more intelligence than you.

CrimeRe: Airforce Men Beat FAAN Staff To Coma At Lagos Airport (see Graphic Photos) by boladez(m): 6:35pm On May 19, 2015
I am laughing out loud because it is a case of two evils meeting each other.

The FAAN official can collect bribes from the dead ...they are corrupt and above the law, the Airforce guys act with impunity.

The FAAN people do not allow parking on the drive way to avoid congestion and avoid security issues. Above all, Nigerians would rather disobey simple rules than obey, when force is applied to ensure compliance we are shout blue murder.

e.g in this era of fuel queues, Nigerians will crowd the pumps and infact a man will park his car at the end of the queue come to the pump with a keg and fight to get served before people who have been on the queue for hours.
Where a road is designated as two lanes ...just small traffic build upp and you see people who are elites forming 10 lanes. .....usually area boys will end up controlling the traffic.

Lets ask ourselves are we civil enough to be treated in a civil manner? The populace is uncivil and we are demanding for the Airforce to be civil as if the airforce men are not from within us....easy to criticise!

Why did the FAAN guy think the rules they made did not apply to him? He deserved what he got honestly and quite obviously he tried to exert his powers as a FAAN official in our typical "do you know who I am manner"........he got what he bargained for ...simple! ...I never argue with a man with a gun or horse whip...even if you are the son of the commander in chief...comply first and challenge safely later on. Dead people don't have rights!

My opinion...o dont take me on
