Hi Nairalanders,

I seriously need your help.

There is an academic survey graduate project that I am working on.
It has to do with how businesses in Lagos interact with Logistics.

The deadline for submission to my supervisor and I'm still short on 30 participants & deadline is tomorrow.

Please if you own, work or know any one in any business in Lagos(no matter how small or big), that fits the criteria, kindly help me share fill and/or share the survey link below.

Thanks

Hi everyone,
Lagos State, the most populous city in Africa and the commercial hub of Nigeria is no doubt the place where every Nigerian wants to be. However the state is heavily plagued with incessant traffic and gridlock which has seriously hampered businesses within the city.

I'm working on a post-graduate study that is aimed at recommending strategic solutions that would ease this traffic menace especially for businesses.

Are you employed or own a business in Lagos?
Does the current traffic issue affect the business adversely?
Would you like to see improvement?

Fill this 2 mins survey today and drive this change

Before I give you my advice, I want you to know that whatever is worth doing is what doing well.

Lets analyse, You are currently drowning in the well of failure with the number of C.Os you are already having and the chances are high that you will still pick up more on the way. Which at best could land you with a weak 2.2 at best.( that's considering your current result trend).

You nees to answer some questions to determine the best step to take; 1) Do you really like the course you are studying 2) Would you really like to practice the course when you graduate 3) Is there an alternative course you think satisfies 1 & 2 above.

If your answer 1 & 2 is yes. Start afresh
If 3 ... change department and start afresh
Education / Re: Falz And His Shenanigan Lamentations Against Nigerian Church Universities by bolamp(m): 1:42pm On May 27, 2018
Falz has made a structured criticism on this growing argument to the best of his know so has the Op.

The reason Falz shouldn't be crucified as the Op was trying to do.

Now to the issue at hand, Universities are expensive to build and even more expensive to run. Hence the high tuition fees which unfourtunately can only be accessed by the rich. The churches that have Universities today in Nigeria are fully aware that majority of the low and medium income members cannot afford the high tuition fees the university the contributed generously in building.

However the reason most of the churches would give is that it was borne out of necessity from the reasons I stated above. They should not be criticized for this.

In all fairness however this argument is put the big question is during the building of most of these universities during fund raising did the church inform all contributing that when the university starts running, only the high income earners would be able to have their wards study it.

If the answer is yes, then there is no need for this argument.
However if it is a no, then the church are no different from a 419 organisation.

Celebrities / Re: Charly Boy Calls For Ban Of BBNaija Show, Gives Reasons by bolamp(m): 12:59pm On Apr 23, 2018
It's obvious that most people criticizing the show and calling for its ban do not either have a clue of what a reality show is or are annoyed at the success of another persons hustle.
No one was forced to follow the Big brother program, we all had alternatives and those that it attracted followed it and vice versa as well.
The fact that the State Nigeria is currently in a precarious position does not strip the youths of the right to spending their leisure time on television programs that attracts them.
the wailers against this show, have we cared to ask ourselves;
Do they really care about the youths?
If they do,
How have they shown it?
On the big brother reality show platform, have they been able to provide alternative "better and educative" reality shows .
I really hope people will just be able to see who these wailers really are.
In my opinion, Charly boy and his cohorts are just trying to score cheap relevance.

Politics / Re: Peter Obi: What Governors Earn In Nigeria Is Immoderate by bolamp(m): 7:49pm On Mar 15, 2018
Peter Obi's revelation should be fully looked into. We Nigerians have always been aware of the high cost of governace from local, state up to federal level However most of us were unable to put actual figures to this overwhelming cost, no wonder the shock in the public when the info on the monthly pay of Nigerian senators went viral. I am of the opinion that every one should lend a voice until this daylight robbery of the chunk of the proceeds of Nigeria's resources is eaten by a few all in the name of governance. This may just be the beginning of the end of this unnecessarily fat pay checks spent on running the government of Nigeria.

I like this.
When will those occultist/atheist who vehemently oppose the church build their own self?
They only multiply in govt school and hardly open their own to promote their own version of the 'truth'.

Buolding of schools is only opposed because it is pure business and not a training center for the church.
With the contributors deceived that the school will be of direct benefit to them which in the long run isn't.

This only thrives because the majority of the population live in poverty and the society is disoriented and far from ideal.

If they are so gifted they should go and try this move in developed countries and see if they would be so lucky.

Op, What do you stand to gain by thinking you can come online and malign Jehovahs Witnesses. Does it mean even if she takes the blood, she will not die? Can the doctor guarantee with his own life that he is 100% sure the woman will not die even if she takes the blood?

Does the fact that you are not 100% sure you will pass an exam justify not bothering to write it??

I stand with yhu brother! I must pay my tithe.

Paying my tithe is my duty, what my pastor does with it is between him n my God.

If because yhu sense or feel d government might misuse tax n refuse to pay yhur tax I am sure yhu knw d consequence.

Anyone who advises me not to pay my tithe or give it in any different way other dan to the ministry where I am spiritually fed, such person isn't even fit to advise me in d first place, so let he/she gerreout.....let them go n hug a live transformer. tongue

The laws of God and man is very different otherwise they would be tagged one and the same.

As for paying your tithe to a pastor because he spiritually feeds you.... it's fair.(though we know salvation is supposed to be free)

But then how long will he continue to feed you before you are fully grown to feed youself. Or does he feed you so you don't grow enough to start feeding yourself spiritually and better still feed others.

Christ instituted a better way to advance his kingdom which was cheerful giving. Not the mostly inconvenient and monthly grumbling 10% in form of tithe that most people even have a hard time calculating the actual 10% amount from their increase that month, leading to a probability of violating the tithing law because you could have overpaid or underpaid.

Let's try to open our eyes

and they were doing one game there they were asked to fix puzzle to know who will get it right within the shortest time.
and it was so interesting, since then i used to tune in when i sometimes and see whats going on.
but what i heard last night from their so called biggie shocked the hell out of me.
could u imagine they were also banned from anything religious in the house? undecided
and some immoral people are defending it here where they even have a thread for it SMH

BBN is serious business and to avoid unnecessary commotion like most businesses that want to avoid unnecessary friction, discussions or actions heavily focused on politics, religion and sports is usually advised to be kept to the barest minimum. As it could lead to a derailment of general focus due to high amount emotion that comes with them.

Bbnaija is purely entertainment, do you learn something from every tv show you watch? and it's not like there is nothing to learn from bbnaija, have you watched their debates and tasks? wonder why you guys are eager to condemn something you say you don't watch

That's very correct... a lot of people are not even aware that bbnaijab is supposed to offer something close to an unscripted movie (save for some of the immoral acts) whereby any of the artist that is least entertaining to you gets the boot (least vote). Truth be told some of their activities/task/interactions are very entertaining (depending on preference).

Besides everyone has been bashing BBnaija.. I begin to wonder if it was stones that voted for Efe in the last edition.
