European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Ac Milan Vs Barcelona by bolaoni(m): 10:15am On Apr 20, 2006
Oga Kola,

Well, the issue is that Barca won the 1st leg in MILAN and are going into the 2nd Leg with an advantage.

Wait a minute guys, Barca was without Messi and Deco and yet they were able to hold their own and even scored against Milan. Can you count the teams that have gone to San Siro this year and lost out?

Let's give credit to whom it is due. Milan tried, but in the game of footie, there is no award for trying.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Ac Milan Vs Barcelona by bolaoni(m): 3:27pm On Apr 19, 2006
Which Real Madrid team? Abeg don't use that team as a reference point jare. We all knew that Madrid wasn't on top of their game.

Look, Milan destroyed Bayern in San Siro, why can't they do same to Barca? Or why did Real not come to Highbury and maul Arsenal.

NO story ore mi. Milan is already out!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Ac Milan Vs Barcelona by bolaoni(m): 3:11pm On Apr 19, 2006
@lordi,

Na wa for U o. Which team dey Away? no be Barca? Haha!

Y do U all expect Barca to over run Milan right at their own backyard?

Barca went after the away goal and they got it, so what else do you all want?

Let us all wait till next week and see how Milan will be devoured. Barca will do to them what they did to Bayern and Lyon.

Let's wait and see!

Christianity EtcRe: Can We Truly Forgive And Forget? by bolaoni(m): 5:25pm On Apr 12, 2006
Forgiving and forgetting?

Hmmm, a tough one. Yes you can forgive and forget. How?

If you decide to forgive someone, then you can forget the hurt by pushing the thot to the back of your mind whenever you see that person and feel like retaliating.

The thought will always come, but it doesn't have to take control of you or how you react to the person. That is true forgiveness.
Christianity EtcRe: Dealing With Shame (When You've Erred) by bolaoni(m): 5:16pm On Apr 12, 2006
I think at times we believe the maxim: "The voice of people, is the voice of God." This is something that is not supposed to be so.

The God we serve is a FATHER that is RICH in MERCY! The story of the prodigal son is something we all have to learn from. God is willing to forgive us anyday, anytime we fall. But people tend to see God as an human being who keeps record of all our misdeeds. No, He is not like that.

So whenever anything happens to us, the first person to go to is God and after we have seek His mercy, what ever anybody says should not be of any consequece.

Have you heard this before: God NEVER use our past to determine our FUTURE

I first heard of that from somebody that has been a LovePeddler for the better part of her life and who is into bringing the good news to those wha are still in the trade.

If God shows you mercy, it does not matter what anybody else says!

Hope this helps someone.
Christianity EtcRe: Why Do Churches Pay Salaries To Musicians? by bolaoni(m): 5:06pm On Apr 12, 2006
This is a really controversial issue.

I used to think it is not good at a time. Now? Well, Musicians are human and got to eat as we all do, if they don't have any other job, what will they live on? God bless you? It won't do.

But another aspect is the motive issue. Some people do it because they want to attract people to their church.
Itz like: We have the best music, so come around and worship God with us!

It all depends on motive. I have what I do personally so i don't expect to serve in church because of what I'm going to get, but those who don't shouldn't be stopped from enjoying the labour of their hands. wink

@Farriel,

You have done a very wonderful job, having in mind that the job is a work in progress.

I want to know if you will be working alone on this project. When you need reports to be posting everyday, will there be journalists working with you or somebody will be sending you the materials? You need to understand that this is a whole lot of work you are about to begin.

I'm also looking at you putting a forum on the site for the fans of Enyimba to meet and discuss. What do you think?
Since the site will be international, you can also register for affiliate programmes like Pay Per Click/lead progs that will be generating some passice income for the site.

Just look @ Soccernet or even www.manutd.com cool for inspiration.

Congratulations my guy.

That is what we won't accept. If you are saying how addicted U are to a place, what makes you a bootlicker?

What if the site wasn't started where would we have had the chance to meet all the wonderful people on this forum?

Please let us appreciate people for what they are doing. That is what we are doing NOW!

The likes of Henry Ford are still being appreciated today for the revolutions they have brought into our world.

They made money through what they did, but that doesn't mean they are not appreciated. Will anybody remove the name of Ford from the automobile hall of fame and put the names of the buyers?

jackal,

you are gay. you've tried to get me before to talk about homosexuality, you asked me what gives me kicks. have you forgotten or you want to lie now. i had to run away from that thread.

i asked you how come you always start talking subtly about male sexuality in every thread. i don't want your advances, you will never get me in bed. i am not gay. i think you should see a psychologist. don't hide your problem and live in torment ,Jackal. I'm serious (no hating). a good psychologist can help you out of it. Please.

but i must warn you, don't ask me about male sex, don't talk about it, don't subtly refer to it, don't ask me what gives me kicks, don't bring that stuff up cause i'm straight and i'll never want you. next thing i know , you'll be sending me PM's. stop it or i'll report to seun.

"Rooney, however, did establish that Kolo Toure's talents extend to goalkeeping. Such is the Ivorian's versatility that, during his first 18 months at Highbury, he appeared in almost every outfield position. He appeared an able deputy for Jens Lehmann, too, when Rooney sprung the offside trap, rounded the German - though the goalkeeper's touch on the ball forced him wider - and struck a shot that appeared headed for Senderos, stood on the goal line.

Instead, Toure, recovering after slipping to the ground, managed a double-handed save that, via the post, deflected the ball to safety.  shocked , "
