The man could be making a positive expression but which wasn't the case.... if his intention was to pass a message like a dog being a man's best friend and tagged the dog buhari which could be translated to buhari is a man's best friend or a dog can secure your property and was refering to buhari to that effect but not the case here but what exactly was his message...? its a dog not a pig so how exactly is he intending or could ve breached the peace and provoked Muslims?
I ask myself sometimes im I nigerian first or Niger deltan ( I ve never been there ) or lagosian the only place I know in nig? If we are nigerians we should be one ppl tribe or culture/tradition based on ethnicity should not suffice .
Wierd how ogun state is trying this guy based on their constitution and not Nigeria constition it seem the only control states don't have is resource control. Very contradicting.

Politics / Re: Naira May Fall To N1000 Per Dollar - Federal Government by bolayei: 5:39pm On Aug 22, 2016
The man just listed everything wrong with nigerians, which is the bitter truth. It's nigerians that can make Nigeria a better place. I was fortunate enough to know lagos before what we ve now. That nigeria He described when it was 1N to 1& was mainly a private economy I.e the groundnut, cocoa, rubber, timber etc where not government business rather people grew them for export but now we see farming as a low life way of life, I remember my primary school days (Baptist church owned) we used to debate about who is more important a Dr or a farmer. How come most of our ploiticians are farmers?
Today a yahoo boy can show himself instead of hiding in shame. Our girls now ve price tags. Take them to shoprite which is a discount store n they are happy, shoprite can't even compare to UTC or leventis.
I remember a clean lagos with little gold fish (ol gees know what I mean) swimming in gutter( drainage) bar beach a clean blue sea... don't mistake the lagos I am talking about for any where past ikeja, maroko, and satelite town( festac 3rd gate) because past this borders are towns and where u get omo oniles ( indegenes) I guess I am talking about the lagos that used to be the colony. Lagos is over populated now because our meant to be farmers now. Want white collar jobs.
Let's not bash this man for his facts but to extend his message.

Please someone educate me, is poultry product contraban :oor illegal? If contraband based on import then its the customs fault for allowing it cross so some custom officers are meant to be punished because it crossed, if its not illegal to have poultries in nigeria then I will asume its not illegal to have frozen poultry product..so what is the point of seizing? it is wrong to seize something that is legal to own but contraband to import. What if someone buys it from obj farm and need to take it to owerri, they will seize it because its contraband?

Cyojunior:
The broken home of the northern family.
In effortless ceremony, a man got hitched to his wife and
swiftly a family setting begun. In no time, Allah bless them
with a boy and joy raided the air.
Just as the boy clocks three years, he is escorted by the
father into the city to learn the Quran. Yes, a three year old
is forcefully pulled away from his mother to God knows
where! The father returns home to the embrace of his wife
in kulle. Putus -another baby is on the way as the first one is
left forgotten.
The mallam in his wisdom has been blessed by Allah and
using his economic dexterity, he sends the poor child into
the street to ask for arms. In the harshest of the street, the
3 years old boy learns survival instincts. He battles ruggedly
against unexpected elements. In no time, he becomes a
champion of the street.
Unfortunately, he is cut off from the affinity of family
bonds, he has no relations to share feelings with as this lad
is left for the street to mould him into her dictates. He
becomes vicious, angry and paranoid. To subdue his anger
against his mallam, he is told never to question his
conditions as it is Allah's will for him. He is told to hate
those who don't belong to his religion and with unmitigated
fury, he brews in anger against the people in the society.
With age catching up with him, the street becomes
uninhabitable for him. He can't longer beg because no one
give alms to an able bodied man. He resorts to crime-from
picking pockets to petty stealing and eventually to violent
crimes. He is completely a nuisance to the society. The lucky
ones amongst his peers are recruited into political thuggery
and others brainwashed into religious fundamentalism.
As the circle of the almajiri life continues, he is arrested for
any of the crimes above and made to serve jail terms. After
years in confinement, he comes out more bitter, frustrated
and hopeless. With no task to do, he takes to selling water
and ridding okada. Again, he continues his romance with
the streets.
Like a walking corpse, he moves around with fist of furry
and stained mind of hate. He is quick to start a fight
because he has nothing to lose. Because you are too
sophisticated to him, you treat him with disdain and quick
to pour verbal venom on him. In the blink of an eye, he
draws out his pocket knife and press it to your fine body.
While you writhe in pains, he flee into the streets because
that is where he belongs. You learn a lesson never to
engage the almajiri in a fight.
Suppressed eventually by age, he become weak in the
hustles of the streets and resort finally to begging as
curtain of life draws on him. As he battles to bid farewell to
his unfair life, he look back at the offspring of his groin -the
next almajiris of his legacy.
Tearfully musing

Family / Re: Can I Get Married With This Income In Abeokuta, Ogun State? by bolayei: 3:47pm On Feb 25, 2016
Thank Goodness we still have people like this
greatgod2012:
Yes, you can! But it depends on some factors.....

If your wife is working and she's ready to assist in financing the house and kids (when they start coming).

If you don't have high taste, as in, you're not the type that goes in for very expensive stuffs.

If your wife also is the type that can maintain such a lifestyle with you.

If you don't have demanding relatives, as in, you have understanding relatives who believe that each is to his own, and your wife is also from that type of family.

If you're focused, prudent and conservative, you can cope with the income you're currently having.
The truth is that, many are earning way below that, and they are married with kids and they are maintaining their family well according to their capability. It all depends on the type of spouse involved and type of lifestyle one believes in.

And the bitter truth is if you're still waiting to become a millionaire or a billionaire before settling down, you might just wait for eternity.

My advice: Do what you wanna do, with proper planning and steady focus, you will get there.

Warning: Study your wife-to-be very well and make sure she's ready to cooperate with you in the journey, or else. na OYO you dey o.
May God help you.

Only in nigeria ppl look down on bread sellers or is it because she hawks it? I dont see it as luck or blessing its her doing, i mean her person and ego...this lady is better than alot of graduates out there. Education and family background is not a yardstick used to measure success but passion, selflessness, hardwork and independent mind. An average unemployed nigeria girl is too porshe to hawk bread but will prostitute indirectly (even if na only cab money) . Alot of personal qualities put her on the scene of the photo shoot and a force beyond all forces.

Francis5:
British court has jailed two Nigerians to a combined 5 and half years in prison for duping a woman of 1.6 million pounds.

31-year-old Ife Ojo (right of the picture) will spend 34 months behind bars while Olusegun Agbaje, aged 43 will be in prison for 32 months.

Both were found guilty of conspiracy to defraud.

Detective Chief Inspector Gary Miles, of FALCON - the Met’s specialist Cyber Crime and Fraud Unit, said:

"Today’s sentencing recognises the devastating impact this kind of fraud has on its victims. I would like to pay tribute to the victim in this case who provided evidence which was crucial in securing two guilty pleas in this case.
"The financial and emotional impact to the victim has been huge. Many victims borrow money from friends and family to pay the suspects. Victims typically feel embarrassed and ashamed when they realise they have been duped, so they often don't report what has happened to them or even confide in a friend."

In January 2015, a woman in her 40s, from Hillingdon, reported to Action Fraud that she had been a victim of fraud. The case was referred the Met's cyber crime and fraud team, FALCON.

The victim told police that in February 2014 she met a man calling himself Christian Anderson on a dating site. After a few weeks, they met in person. He told her that he was an engineer working in the oil industry, that he was divorced and had a daughter, and that his father and sister died of cancer.

After a few weeks, he told her that he loved her. He said he was having a difficult time working on a project in Benin, Africa. He said that he wanted to come home to be with her but first he needed some specialist machinery so he could finish the project. He asked her for a loan to pay import duty for the machinery.

She paid over £30,000 into the business account of his supposed personal assistant, a man allegedly called Brandon Platt, but Anderson then requested more cash, ranging from £25,000 for a police fine, to thousands of pounds to free up inheritance money left by his mother, who lived in Cape Town.

He told her that he wanted to use the inheritance money to set up a life with the victim. Fees for freeing up the inheritance money included costs for holding it in a vault in Amsterdam and $170,000 to pay for a non-existent "anti-terrorist certificate" so that the money could be deposited at a bank.

The victim had been convinced that they would live together, and had been looking for a home for them to buy. She met with someone claiming to be Anderson's lawyer, and even travelled to an office in Amsterdam to meet a man calling himself Dr Spencer, who was supposedly responsible for holding the money in a vault.
Between March and December 2014, the victim paid £1.6million into numerous bank accounts.

The money was subsequently transferred into various personal accounts, including £35,000 to the bank accounts of Ife Ojo and Olusegun Agbaje. The victim doubted the authenticity of Anderson's stories on numerous occasions but every time she asked for proof he sent false documentation or made up excuses for why he could not send her evidence.

FALCON carried out a financial investigation. They identified Agbaje as one of the recipients of the victim's money and went to his home address where they found him with Ojo. Both were arrested and their homes searched. At Ojo's home, they found a laptop containing records of the victim's conversation with Anderson, a memento book seemingly sent to Anderson by another victim and a copy of the book 'The Game'.

FALCON established that they had received £35,000 of the victim's cash and charged them. In September 2015, Ojo, a student from Peterborough and Agbaje, an administrative assistant of Hornchurch both pleaded guilty to conspiracy to defraud at Basildon Crown Court.

Detectives are continuing their enquiries as they seek other members of the gang and try to identify any other victims.

Fish farmers take note aquaponics is a way of sustainability for your aquaculture business because you can recycle the pond water by growing greens and sell the greens/vegetables and use the proceeds to feed your fishes, the system will save you alot and reduce casualties since you will automatically have good water management and aeration. I am sure pavore will shed on this
