I just told the lady the ages of the kids - 9 and 1... Not sure of the range. Here's the phone number for them - +2348113975433 You need to book an appointment and I think you can get the document you need immediately. But results are sent to CIC in 3 days. SlowlybtSurely: Nice one. Qlife it is then. What is the age range of the infants? Can one do everything in a day? Do we need to book appointment? |

The Children's Practice - N28k each regardless of age Qlife - N28k adults, 22k for 11 and below, 20 for infants IOM - 40,200 for adults 15 yrs and above, 31,800 for applicants 11 to less than 15 yrs, 28,100 for applicants 5 to less than 11 yrs, 26,200 for applicants 0 to less than 5 yrs Qlife is better when you have kids involved. SlowlybtSurely: Do share. |

Hey vcole... How much did it cost to get your police certificate and could you get it same day? Wonder if they open on weekends. Also, when you did your medicals, was it the results you got and uploaded or just a proof of medicals taken? One the hospitals insists the only send results to embassy and give a proff of results taken to the applicant. The other gives a result to the applicant... the latter is cheaper tho. Qlife, the 3rd seems to be the cheapest and they also offer a generated form and not the results... So I guess Qlife it is then.
For those interested in the costs I can share if needed.
Anyone who got ITA recently and has gotten a police certificate and medicals? |

Thanks dupyshoo... Have you gotten PPR yet? I'm wondering if there's a way to find out if you truly have relatives in Canada. Hoping it won't pose a problem. dupyshoo: Relatives in Canada only help increase your eligibilty score (i.e to help you get up to 67 out of 100. If without the relative, you will still be eligible, then you can remove it. I have a lot of family members in Canada so I indicated that I do. However, when I realised that I will have to prove my relationship with them and also provide their passports, I just changed my answer to no family members in Canada.
I only scanned all the pages of my current passport though we were asked only the bio data page. |

Thanks dear... This came up because we have an immediate relative in Canada who is a citizen... vcole: i no know wetin d proof of relationship be oh. i do not think i encountered that. I submitted all pages of current and previous passports with stamps for all applicants on my app. Scanned all pages starting from most current till oldest. Remember that under your travel history, it asks you to provide all of your travels over d past 10yrs or since you turned 18. So, its just easier for them to see all at a glance. |

Thanks a lot zimex... They asked for bio data page and also any pages with stamps and visas, hence my previous question. Zimex: You must have claimed to have a relative who is a citizen or PR of Canada. You need to show proof of your relationship to that person. If it's a sibling, for example, you could show both your birth certificates, pictures etc
For the passport, I only submitted biodata page. |

Hey guys... vcole, dupyshoo and co!
Please I need help with regards to the 'Proof of Relationship'... Relationship to who exactly?
Also, do I need to add pages of previous passports showing stamps as well or just the current one. Though the previous passports for both of us have some travel history we claimed... If so, do we just scan all in one document and include both data pages?
Thanks |

You score will not be affected as you have already received ITA... Ours will drop as well by next week. Congrats! MostBlessed: Congrats to fellow members who have received ITA.
@Dupsyshoo, vcole, Jesus Dway... and other experienced members/ friends , I received an ITA with the score of 462, my birthday is coming up on the 2nd of February and that means my score will drop to 457 (which is below 459 which was the cutoff) . Does this mean I have to submit my application online before my birthday or my birthday will not affect the application as I already have ITA ? Please, I really need to know because I am working in a remote field location and scheduled be out after my birthday.... |

Thanks a lot! alt3r3g0: Kudos for solving your issue.
Yeah you can always go back if its just to see the docs and upload. dupyshoo: Yes, you can always go back to edit your profile. In fact, you can even decide to start all over if you want. |

I did actually... But what I noticed just now is that the details must be continuous in the last 10 years... so no gaps in between... Not even one month apart. Crossed that road now. vcole, dupyshoo... If I click continue after filling the form, can I always go back to edit? or I wait till I am absolutely sure... Cos I'm eager to see the checklist for documents. Thanks alt3r3g0: I am guessing you have also reviewed the prefilled ones. Just click on modify and ensure there is nothing left to add.
In the education segment, though prefilled, had to add ECA rating.
Also always use the next button to move to the next stage rather than clicking on it directly. That way if a side is remaining it will show an error message at the top of the screen pointing out the lacking place. If this is not done it will be assumed you want to save and continue later.
Hope this helps. |

Thanks beyunce... I did check. Seems they insist on adding personal details. I will and try again. beyunce: Check properly. Make sure you have filled in each sub section. You can click on check for completeness, it will identify what needs to be done.
All the best! |

I'm using firefox as well... The list was pre-filled when I got there and theres basically nothing to add. Clicked on 'yes' that all was ok and still says 'in progress'. JUst tried it again now... alt3r3g0: What browser are you using? I used firefox. Also when filling what you were doing for the last 10 years, if unemployed, fill not applicable for name of company. Dont leave any slots blank. That was the part i had issues with. |

vcole for president! vcole: Hello. So sorry about your miscarriages, God willing you won't have to go through this again. Did you get screened for strep B infection during any of these pregnancies? Diabetes? Hypertension? Is your thryoid function normal? Any thyroid antibodies? You may wanna exhaust all your options as regards a proper evaluation by a competent ob/gyn. As regards the visa, it may be wise to go for a vacation before you get pregnant. |

Hehehe. Yes o. Thank God it came as predicted. I wish you all the best with your IELTS. esosa4real: Wow @boldinc congrats ooh, you really predicted your ITA last week...lol
@vcole @ugoiyke79e @dupsyshoo @iphie125 See as ITA dey pass me by oooh, chaaaaii I am hopeful sha but scared at the same time that the draws might go very up soon! Anyways I have to wait on ma 2nd ielts result on the 20th and 1st ielts remark in march.
BTW, I wanted to ask if anyone knows the right body to evaluate a MED LAB degree. I want my fiancé to start the process but don't know if WES is allowed. I checked the ECA section of the CIC website and only special considerations is given to Medicine and Pharmacy for which the evaluating bodies are MCC and PEBC respectively.
So please if there is anyone that has info about Med lab degree evaluation, they should help me out. |

Hmmm... makes sense. Slowelybutsurely, I think we should stick here. It would help us and people coming ahead. Besides, we have experienced people here to answer questions. dupyshoo: I agree with you. It is better to ask questions here so that subsequent applicants and all those still expecting ITAs will have access to the information. |

Thanks dear for info... vcole: I paid both oh. As for pof doc, remember all apps are individualized oh. Nigeria banks do not issue the bank letter in the format IRCC recommends. So what you do is obtain a reference letter from your bank(s) in whatever format they give and add a 6 months' bank statement for your account(s). A letter of explanation of any issue as regards your funds that you think would be necessary should accompany your supporting docs. |

Thanks for the info dupy... I might fall into the same category, but i'll let you know if I do need it. dupyshoo: Yes, I paid both at the time of submission.
It depends on your POF. For my POF, I had to combine several accounts. Hence, there was need for me to explain my POF very well in order for the visa Officer to understand. If you are submitting only one account statement as POF, then my POF draft will not be beneficial. |
