from my child hood I always hear stories that when Russia is mentioned, bad weapons comes in mind,

the 2 most popular riffles, one comes from them m16 or ak47 if I remember well
It's the ak47. It's perhaps the sturdiest rifle in the world. It can fire after being exposed to whatever elements there are. Rain, snow, sand etc. Requires very little maintenance. The biggest disadvantage is it's accuracy. This is why the M16/M4 rifle is prefered for combat. I personally prefer the M4 any day any time because it can be converted for close quarter combat because the butt stock is adjustable. It is very accurate and precise but needs more tender loving care than the ak.

American game changer in weaponry skyrocketed after Roswell 1947..... Funny enough Russia just found out what Americans knew after 1957 in tebev.... Any one who know the secret has the power to mess the world up with one single nuke...

RUSSIA will put US out of the game any time ... Any day in the recent day.... USA have lost their way .... That dam country is going Down if they don't find their way back to the right track
What are you smoking? It must be really good. I'd like some. That is the only way i can explain your lack of knowledge that the russian economy is hanging by a thread. They are charting the same course as the U.S.S.R before it crashed and Putin knows this all too well. This is one of the reasons he's trying to anex the baltic states.

Some people like missy89 are thinking that the only amoury or weapons the Russians have are the ones been badied or advertise on the Internet. However, this story is meant to debunk those funky lies, the Russians have a lot of screw weapons unbeknownst to CIA.
All that does not matter. what matters is that they both have nuclear weapons so basically war with each other, if it ever happens will end in a stalemate.

Okay.
I believe a wise country will not disclose all its weapon of mass destruction. So that the enemy country will not know their strategy and even upgrade on the weapons. Though, some countries make a show of their new weapons to make other countries fear them the more. But not every country will do that.
For them to be called super-power, they must have been tried and tested and they will still have the "it" factor.
If a country has weapons of mass destruction, there is no way to hide it because of it's unique radioactive signature and that it can be easily detected with satellite imagery. This is why iran found it so hard to hide their uranium enrichment programme. Plus, it does not matter the amount you have, all you need is maybe 20 of the right megatons to destroy the whole world. And there are thousands spread all over the planet.

The American REVOLUTION was different..... AMERICA was a melting pot....
See
!!! We can't solve this problem..by evading facts...
US was aided by more than the FRENCH... The RUSSIANs were there too...& the purpose was quite different.... No need for details...
Most importantly it appeared the AID was demanded rather than initiated!!! At least it appeared so...

Can we just say so for SYRIA....huh?

.....Because in the long run, the incapacity of MEANs will be PROVEN..... However, good the PURPOSE in Sight!!!
Afghanistan will still prove a lot!!!!

There is a BETTER method (Transformation & ALL, in TIME too) of achieving these feats.. The US just doesn't seem to know...THAT Yet.....that's a Slip....
If you can't get it... You start losing it!!!!
So what do you suggest?

I couldn't help but laugh at the above quote. "Extremists" from Iraq and Libya? And who turned Iraq and Libya into failed states? The American government has been lying to its citizens about the true purpose of its involvement in Syria.
These countries have always been a keg of gun powder waiting to explode, all they they needed was a little push. The intention was to promote democracy but miscalculated the influence of iraq, afghanistan and islam in particular. Islam does not recognize democracy in it's true sense. Sad I have to say this, but arabs are animals who need a strong dictator to keep them in check. We see that now. Ask yourself, why was it so easy to push them over the edge? can anyone do that with Germany, the U.K, France, the U.S of A? when you rule as a despot, you risk the disgruntlement of the populace in the future.

What exactly do you think is the solution to the Syrian Crises in the light of present realitieshuh?
If isis wasn't involved, i would say let the syrians fight it out and win their own liberation. But isis is involved. They need to be halted. If Russia can do it, all well and good. If successful they also need to pull out and let the syrians course their destiny. This is all wishfull thinking though. Almost all wars have involved outside support in one way or the other because of allegiances. The american revolution was won because of support from the french.

You're quite right..... Clearly so!!!! That re-orientation & education is a prime solution, though it's Long term...... But what you don't understand is what CIA does in the international community!!!!
I will give you a hint & let you discover the rest.....

MUCH OF WHAT YOU CALLED THE "ARAB SPRING" is by no means what you suppose it is......
The infiltration into this nations through Street, social Media & strategic intelligence is what you will understand with exposed CLASSIFIED documents
It is so for LIBYA, TUNISIA, EGYPT & some others...
Go do the research.... Now, SYRIA, even UKRAINE was so infiltrated & engineered to REVOLT...Its easier to do now even with media channeling...
CIA may have had trained Revolutionaries...

The UNjustified INVASION of IRAQ was the major cause of mid-eastern Insurgency, Fundamentalism only happens to be the major way the locals can solicit assistance from indigenes to fend off Western interference, it overtime became embellished. We know where the problem. Started....

SAUDI-ARABIA is the HUB of FUNDAMENTALISM. In fact, it is institutionalized there!!! Why are they not a major concern to the US....ASSAD is very secular in comparison...to the SAUDIs. He just can't ally to their cause....
The truth is there.... Go find it
Isreal almost sacked a whole Civilization without any intense cause... for a land which in 1948 the British merely açcorded them with Imperial might...
Nothing was done.....

What exactly is ASSAD's offensehuh? Dictatorship??
At some point in a nation's growth, its necessary, just like the dictatorship of a father sustains a child to adolescence...when he knows....
The west had EMPERORS under whom they actually became power...to colonise till they innovated the system... What the Heckhuh?
LIBYA was far better in social services than the US under Gaddafi....
So what's the objective in all this
In needed time when the basic has been resolved people will change the system....
I agree with all your points except that of which you said dictatorship is not something we should be concerned about. Would you want the military regime back in power in Nigeria? Assad has weapons of mass destruction in the form of gasses and biological warfare. Plus, his oppression of his people was not something to sniff at. America made a lot of mistakes but what i like about the U.S is they always learn from it and move on. That is why they are great. As bad as you think the U.S is, you don't want Russia or china dominating world affairs.

Well, you have a point!!!!
But, the real threat here is the US..... Their financing of the rebels to oust ASSAD rather than initiate negotiation is the onus of the problem....
The essence of what RUSSIA is doing now lies in their ability to accord the Syrian troops some control to enable them rebuild!!!!! Clearly, no matter how peaceful this nation becomes, nothing can REDEEM the damage wrought through human & infrastructural losses....in SYRIA, which could have been prevented. Now, the US is restrategising to frustrate Russian efforts in Syria.....
The MEDIA IS THEIR MAJOR TOOL of Persuasion!!!!
I bet IRAQ is no better now.....

How RUTHLESS IS ASSAD compared to SAUDIARABIA!!!! Yet, US is abeiting Saudi-Arabia....
Let's be wise..... US is not just protecting their interest. They're also building it!!!!!
That is not the threat. The threat is terrorism in general. the rebels weren't terrorist in the beginning but as the war waged on, they were infiltrated by extremists from iraq and libya that was when U.S arms and training support stopped and switched to air raids. Look how long we fought in Iraq and afghanistan? what is there to show for it? The most important thing we learnt is what i stated earlier; re education and re orientation is what is needed to wipe out terrorism in the future. Which is why there is so much emphasis in our military civil affairs. We are trying brick by brick to change the way the younger generations in iraq and afghanistan think before they get radicalized. Using force as a long term solution is flawed, it can on contain terrorism temporarily from spreading. I hope Nigeria's military understands this soon.

I agree with you my Dear but you must also understand that some Governors claim to have spent millions of dollars on said projects with nothing on the ground to show for it!
One of the reasons corruption is so rife in Nigeria is because the masses have no idea where the money really comes from and so they don't really follow how it's spent. Taxation makes you get involved in government and expenditure because the money is coming out of your pocket. The american revolution from the british was started because of taxation. That is how powerful it is.

You see comparing USA to Nigeria is really out of the picture because the American system is very much ahead of the nigerian system and way more organized also the payment of tax in USA is directly related to what an individual earns and can easily be deducted from the salary now coming down to nigeria you find a situation in which workers are being owed salary and there is no record for what an individual earns hence you see people making money thru all forms of dubious means with impunity, now moving down to the rural area where that road is located what reason have you given those rural dwellers to pay tax when absolutely nothing has been done for them
I have to compare. That is the only yardstick for self improvement. If Nigerians don't know, how can they change the status quo. If only Nigerians can grasp the concept of taxation, it can solve even the corruption problem in Nigeria.

that's not what I meant. Rather the issue of taxation shouldn't have been brought up in this context cos it has very little to do with it
It has everything to do with it. Taxation is how normal societies fund maintenance projects. America has oil too, but that has never been factored into revenue generation. For us, it is important only for our vehicles. Nigerians don't understand taxation on all levels and that is a big handicap.

History also has taught us that when the terrorists' ideologies have exceeded negotiating limits, we nip it in the bud by matching it with requisite response.

Reorientation is the technique to forestall growing the terrorists human resource base and reintegrating the affected people.

All in all, we wish terrorism in the worled will be quelled.
But history also shows that even with massive force, terrorism still thrives.
