In no too distant future all that will be left is a poor bragging once having a degree in UK. The point is if you are a Nigerian it is in your best interest to emmigrate LEGALLY as soon as possible. Key word here is "legally". Nigerians have this misconception that you can just wake up one morning and decide you'll emigrate without the right papers to the U.S, U.K, Germany, etc. Wrong answer. Without a legal status is same as being in jail, but with the right status, the opportunities presented to you is unfreakingbelieveable. Whom so ever leaves Nigeria without papers i wish good luck. |

IamAtribalist: I was not gonna reply your post because your reasoning is filled with so many obvious holes that it criticizes itself. However, in the interest of all NLers, I will endeavor to shed more light on your flawed analysis. Here goes:
There was a time in history when English football had far more problems (hooliganism, match fixing etc) that Nigerian football has today. What did the English do? Did they neglect their home-grown teams and started supporting AC Milan and Ajax? No they didn't. Rather, they continued to support their home-grown teams and put pressure on their systems until reforms were enacted to bring about change. However, people like Mr. Bolinger will turn around and excuse their own lack of self-esteem and cultural integrity. You called me indomie generation - without even knowing who I am and what I represent. So I will call you A FOOL because the good book says give to Caesar what is Caesar's. So Mr. Fool watch your language or I will definitely continue to reply in kind. Respect yourself and you will get the same. My original post was not even directed to you. Get it?
Now, u na see wetin we don dey tell u na for many years? The white man had a problem and he worked for many difficult years to fix it. The African has a problem and he beetch and whine and decided instead of fixing his own home he will spend more time in his neighbors more comfortable home. U na see why Africa go ALWAYS carry last? Lol.....anyone notice how he never makes references as to how he would support the Nigerian league and if he'd ever watched one physically himself? This dude wants you to risk your life just to go watch a football match. LWKMD. |

Beyonce has used an iphone to shoot a video before and the quality was awesome so you really have no reason to say you need as much as millions to shoot a good video ... Companies like Avid Group have done a couple of videos for upcoming acts at a very cheap rate and the quality has been nothing but spotless. to get to Avid Group mail them at AvidGroupWorldwide@gmail.com ... bushdoc9919: It is nice....but how are the school buildings, and the school libraries, and labs.
Nigeria! You see? this is the kind of quotes that deserves a thousand likes, but it's the "fayose my guy" and "fayose my role model" you'll see with a billion likes. Common sense is out the door in Nigeria. It has been proven statistically that Africans, especially Nigerians, are probably the dumbest people on the planet. The concept of trying to solve a problem by applying the same parameters and expecting different results is very true with Nigerians. A politician is giving away cars to teachers, while the standard of education and it's facilities leaves much to be desired. Plus, these people aren't asking where these funds are coming from, all they see is "car" and "awoof". A leader is a direct reflection of it's citizenry. So, since Nigeria has been having crappy leaders, it is because Nigerians are crappy people. Remember, the concept of democracy is that an overwhelming percentage of people with the same mindset will vote an individual to represent them in govt. So you pretty much get what you pay for. Phucking people. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Pope US Visit Proves Nigerian Pastors Wrong!!! by Bollinger(m): 11:34am On Oct 04, 2015 |
TrajansKong: I SAY AGAIN!!
This is not the African Way. The Pope is wrong. How can we respect him as a man of God if he travels amongst the common people? How can we glorify one who does not glorify himself? He is a messenger of God!! He should reflect God's power accordingly. We do not exalt those on our own level. A true pastor must SHOW he is above us in every way.
The Vatican has billions and BILLIONS in precious metals and stones but this pope does not display any of this for us to admire. If we cannot SEE and admire a man's power and wealth how can we follow him and give unto his glory?
This pope is a disgrace to Christianity. A man of God cannot be humble. He must be mighty as God is mighty.Fly your private jet, Papa Oyedepo! Wear your Rolex, Papa Adeboye. Wear your Armani suits Pastor Daniel! We cannot judge you as we judge ourselves. You are truly men of God. Our spiritual and earthly masters! You and the 19 mor.ons who liked your post are phucking insane. So, since we all know that jesus did not ride around in the finest chariot or dress like the saducees, does that mean you don't look up to christ? This was the mentality of the pharisees during christ era before they plotted his execution. They postulated that how can this so called unknown poor man be the son of God. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Pope US Visit Proves Nigerian Pastors Wrong!!! by Bollinger(m): 11:23am On Oct 04, 2015 |
paris10: The Pope's US visit was a triumph in upholding Christ teachings. If anything, one thing it does teaches us is that you don't need a private jet, nor a limousine nor even the most expensive carrier to ride in to do God's work.
It teaches us humility in the face of plenty, humbleness in the face of pride, and godliness to silence the greedy and the new generation pastors we have been condoning.
Creflor Dollar needed a $65,000 jet to do God's work ( his congregation are currently donating the money ). Adeboye, Oyedepo et al also need this amount of money to do God's work. Pope rode in a $20k mini series car. He specifically demanded this because " as a man of God you cannot live confortably and ride the most expensive cars whilst the children of God are suffering".
Over to the gullible Nigerian pastors defenders. OP are you high? That you can believe this without actual investigation shows your mental acumen. The guy has a special plane designated for his sole use by Alitalia. And for his normal road trips, he rides around in a 8mm thick bullet proof car. Investigate before you postulate. |

IamAtribalist:
If you were born and raised in Nigeria and your No.1 team in the world is an ENGLISH team then you seriously need to check your brain, bro. STOP taking panadol for foreign clubs. Foreign teams ONLY care about their own people (as they should). One of the reasons Nigerian senior team is struggling is because European clubs are no longer interested in giving opportunities to young Nigerian players - they would rather develop their own talent than train an African young star. Africans are so gullible (they are more passionate about Arsenal, Man U, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Barca) than their own home grown team) no wonder we are behind the rest of the world is ALMOST EVERY SINGLE metric of development and well being. U na dey sleep on top bicycle - HEEDIOTS. Calm down bro. Nobody wants to be associated with mediocrity. When last did you go to watch a Nigerian league match with your family? Most likely never. You can't blame Nigerians for not being passionate about their league because their is nothing to be passionate about. Going to a league match is like going to a war zone. Touts and area boys overrun the place and you want me to go there with my family? no thanks bro. Plus, if there is no enabling environment to invest in it, why would anybody want to. The last time i was passionate about the league was when MKO was in charge of abiola babes. I still have goose pimples when i remember the charity cup finals with Abiola babes and Leventis united. Abiola walked into the stadium with a coffin claiming they were going to bury Leventis, and they did. (indomie generation, don't bother searching for it). It was a glorious final. Guess what happened the next year? Abiola babes went defunct and that was the end of it. Nigeria is just too phucked up to sustain a good thing. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: I Am Ashamed To Call My Self A Chelsea Fan. by Bollinger(m): 5:14am On Oct 04, 2015 |
The problem with chelsea is mourinho. Not that he is a bad coach, but because he is a terrible human being. He has burnt so many bridges he is standing on an island by himself. There is is a limit to how arrogant you can be. He has done it to the point that one way or another officials and players of opposing teams are looking for ways covertly to bring him down. He's gotten away with it for years and everyone have begun to wise up to his antics and are now fighting back. Everyone knows when you play chelsea, you play against the best so they come out guns blazing. And the officials are now always on guard and i think making calls that won't favor chelsea i suspect. It's like chelsea is walking around with a big fat bullseye on their backs and they need to get rid of it by sacking the coach. I am not a chelsea fan though, so don't think i am biased. I am torn between arsenal and man u. |
