ask4bk: If you ask me, this is a great disrespect to the culture of the people Masquerades have their importance to play and this can only be done when they remain mystified.
In my childhood, we feared them a lot. But growing up I saw of them urinating, eating, undressing etc (In secret oh) and i lost the fear i had for them. But i can't tell that to children or others today so that their cultural respect would still stand strong.
Well, i don't know what these ones did. I hope they didn't do a crime with masquerade costume. What other importance can they play other than for entertainment? Unless you are in support of perpetuating barbaric and archaic rituals long rejected and forgotten. |

JN1: And yet some guys who married 'brains' and 'characters' still go outside look for ass which is even worse. It's boring to be always hearing something like this, there are people with curves who are also extremely intelligent and with very good characters. Some pretends to be looking for 'character' and from the bottom of their heart are denying themselves what they want. Seriously, I have nothing against 'Sunday school teachers' but let's be honest with ourselves. Some men like ladies with that while some prefer flat one, after all one man's meat is another man's poison. Live and let live! This guy, let this be your first and final warning; you are barred from applying logic and above all, making sense on Nairaland. |

I can't imagine snapping multiple shots of a car like that, when no be Buggati Veron. #justthinkingaloud# I'm on my way to Jos-Maiduguri expressway with my 'akpoti' will be looking at all the car that passes. Someone else should volunteer for other location. #BringBackOurCar on course. The reason you ask this question is because you are not aware of how property insurance functions. You are supposed to keep records of receipts of every property you own. Then, you are supposed to take pictures of everything, including serial numbers, as soon as you buy it as backup to the backup. I thought it was a joke till my phone got stolen one day. My insurance company wanted proof since i had lost my receipt. Thank God i had pictures uploaded to my cloud. |

Natural foods are the best, forget the crude processing method, its more safer than all these hyped oyinbo irradiation dat deposit myriads of heavy metals in our body, say for smoking, other african food processing technique like drying, mild frying, salting are still ok... no perfection any where, even in white man's land cos they all comes with negative resultant effect.......Am a food biochemisty!
good job jare @op......i love Agric and hoping to write a research on food security and agrobusiness as a Phd thesis No one is debating the merits of Natural food source over processed foods. The point is the MEANS of delivery. i repeat " No one is debating the merits of Natural food source over processed foods. I am repeating this because Nairalanders are fond of arguing off point. I bet that vehicle would have transported even wildlife and God knows what else before it got to the market place. Just because it is natural food does not mean one should ignore hygiene in the process of delivery. |

Ignorance is bliss. Every year, America awards 50,000 dv lottery visa's to different people of diverse nationalities. They also accept undocumented migrant individuals and even look for viable ways to give them legal status. One would wonder why America does this. It's simple. It's for the sole purpose of generating REVENUE. I did not understand this till i emigrated to the country. Every living person of legal working age will pay some form of tax or the other. Every living person of legal working age will at some point, want to buy a vehicle and automatically start paying insurance. Once you have graduated college and have gotten a new job, the next thing is to build a house. This alone drives the middle class. This is why America's economy nearly crashed when the housing sector had a problem. Are you getting the picture? It is a process of elimination. For one useless, lazy person, there will be 20 hard working individuals who are willing to spend and contribute in some way to the economy and the American government does not care whether he/she is black, white, african, indian, chinese, cripple, gay, straight e.t.c it is a game of numbers. They understand completely that the human resource is the most important of all resources. And you never know, you might one day stumble upon an Einstein or that German fellow who helped build the atom bomb for America. If the parents of Einstein had been turned away at the immigration front desk, they would not have claimed and benefited from his genius. This idi.ot south african is completely clueless. Instead of him to be thankful that he has diverse nationalities in his country, he is killing them. He should be blaming his government for not providing quality institutions of higher learning. Because if south africans had quality education, they would be better informed. Country wey skyscraper full no mean say people wey de live there get sense. |

Bro,I advise you to employ GooGle. It will educate your ignorance..ghanians looted us too. Many of our businessnes was consificated,so is other properties owned by us. Don't forget, some of us where mained too,by ghanians My uncle was a victim too,so don't tell me,it is bcs of poor reporting, bcs our's too wasn't properly reported. Most present ghanians don't even know, dat dey deported us too.
Let's end this argumnt, cos I see your'er bent on taintin nigeria BLACK There you go again with the "he killed my cat so i will kill his dog" mentality. I don't care who did what to who. Brother,ur argumnt, holds not water And how exactly do you know we did not? Not saying that we did, but you have to remember that back then information was not disseminated the same way it is now. No cell phone or cell phone camera, no bystander reporting, no internet. Far from the advantages we have today. What i know for a fact is a lot of lootings happened and beatings were given to them. |

When we where just starting as a country, cos ghana got independence bfor us and nigerians where suffering economically. So don't play victim here(the feeling is mutual bro, though I don't support it) While we deported 1.5million ghanians.
Now tell me,who is worse now, btwn the two?[/size] I don't understand your post. Victim implies we/us/me have been hurt by the Ghana/Nigeria relations. The point of my whole post was to douse Nairalanders back to reality, since many are acting like we are saints and can never do such a thing. I am not here to measure the size of coc.ks or to identify who is better than the other. The fact is, in our history we have done what south africa is doing right now. |

JiggamanGh: It was a different time, Ghana did it to Nigeria and Nigerians did back to Ghanaians. People need to let Ghana must go rest. Both contries have learned their lesson and moved on. Let's deal with what's going on in South Africa. In this day and age things like this shouldn't be taking place. Point of correction. We did it to Ghanaians and Ghanaians never did it to us. Don't confuse enforcing immigration laws with what we did to them. |

JiggamanGh: Ghana must go happened years ago. The world has evolved and things like this shouldn't happen. The world is now a global village. Which is why history should be taken very seriously. In the case of Ghana, look at them now. We are supposed to learn from everyone's mistakes especially since those mistakes can be accessed easily. Human beings are basically selfish animals with animalistic instincts. |
