There will be maturity and discipline, when people in your position show good example.

Start first, when you stop using siren vans driven by reckless armed escorts
Let's place a bet. In 2070, Nigerians will still be complaining of bad government. Do you know why? Where does the government come from? All governments all over the world come from the people. Read up the definition of DEMOCRACY and you will understand what i am talking about. So, if the people are bad, the leaders you select from within you will also be bad and that's a fact. Nigerians are generally bad and there is no way you can select a good person in that kind of environment. Even if eventually one good leader is found, the overwhelming number of bad people in Nigeria will find a way to push him/her aside or worse kill him/her. The problem is not the government. The problem in Nigeria is the citizenry. This is why someone like Atiku has the nerve to even think about running for the presidency. He knows that bad people will always want a bad person to lead them.

Romance › Re: How To Get Your Parents To Accept Your Relationship by Bollinger(m):
Moji12:
Did u jus miss the part that I mentioned "parental advice" ofcos no one can live my life for me but I will always give room too their advice that is why they are there to guide in the first place. In ur context I realized u would rather make a mistake than avoiding it. As for making mistakes n learning from it, shows u go with the saying experience is the best teacher. But I would rather by example is the best teacher. Let me give an example using animals. sheep move in flock so if the leader falls in a pit others must follow suit cos they want to experience it instead of learning from their leader's mistake. If parents advice against something, it means they have their genuine reasons and our interests at heart not because they want to see us miserable becos most of the time we r blind by emotions so we would need someone with rational thought n not irrational. Anyways sir that is my opinion u must not buy it.
You said parents are 85% correct in whatever advice they give which is not true which is why i said what i said. Their advice is even worse when it comes to relationships because what they like will not be what you like. Well, like you said, it's you opinion.

He won't say that if he sees the road that leads to KANU's dilapidated miserly bungalow at Amannagwu in Arochukwu.

KANU Nwankwor can only boast of a defunct Heart Foundation while his counterpart in Liberia will officially be the President of a country after December 26th.

KANU was a fortunate player whose greatness would have been forever unrivalled if only he died of that heart disease at the peak of his fame in 1996.
Smh. What has a bungalow at amannagwu in arochukwu got to do with his prowess as a player? Or don't you understand the topic of the thread?

DrMuzungu:
Excellent point. Must we always pick lesser of two evils (i.e. less corrupt over more corrupt politician, never mind that the first one is still corrupt, just less)? How about electing some new faces, who have never been in politics on any level?
It won't change anything. The very fabric of the Nigerian society needs to be reoriented and re educated. Haven't you noticed that a 15 year old in Nigeria is already a "sharp" guy? Corruption runs too deep in that country for anything to change.

chinawapz:
Nigerians are too stingy, those people against tithe are either atheist, Muslim or economist if you can track them
They are not stingy. They are full blown re.tards. Why do people tithe? Mostly for financial gain. Meanwhile, if you invest six thousand naira in a retirement fund every month for 20 years you will be a millionaire when you hit 45 to 50 years of age. Nigeria's system is not set up to educate it's people to this fact plus, Nigerians do not want to know. They prefer to languish on their knees hoping and praying for a better tomorrow instead of being on their feet with sleeves rolled up doing what need to be done. Only lazy people pray and believe in an imaginary god.

Yes he is. Not because he keeps getting born again over and over again, but because he is yet to wake up to the reality that there is no god. Only lazy people believe in god.

Education › Re: Stop! Don't Buy That HND Form! by Bollinger(m): 1:40pm On Dec 17, 2017
Sage7:
Truth is, HND holders are not as regarded as Bsc holders in the Nigerian labour market. I'm sure people know this by now.

Except for the lucky ones, Most HND holders are employed as contract staff. No bonuses an other entitlement.

Sincerely, I dislike the way they are being treated. But from onset, Polytechnics were created for entrepreneurs, not for people who want to be gainfully employed, hence, the reason for disregard by most employees. I suppose it was established at the time of recession in The US to create more entrepreneurs to alleviate the bad economy at the time.

OP, I can relate to your standpoint.
I don't understand. I am an HND holder and i worked in BAT and NBL so the OP's logic does not compute. He is using one or two instances to justify the opinion. The problem is Nigerian graduates do not know how to look for employment. Even if they are lucky to be called up for interviews, most do not have the verbal and mental acumen to survive it. Doubt me? Read through the forum and witness the comments of so called "Graduates".

Nigerian Police Force is one major example of a failed Nigeria.
If the government work, Nigeria police will work.
The govt want the police like this.
Lets blame the failed govt over the years not the police.
The energy we used in criticizing the police, we should divert it on the govt to gives us a better police organisation.
While we are requesting for a better police, the masses should also behave better. As there is no way u have a reformed police in a barbaric society

A number of people seem not to even understand what a functional society looks like; anomalies now seem normal to them and vice versa.
And that is the scary part. And it is not just in Nigeria though Nigeria's case is the extreme. That Trump is the president of America points to this fact. No one cares about truths, facts and reality anymore. I don't believe in God but this is as good as the End Times they keep talking about.

You are going off point sir...No connotation of that in my post....Anyway, guys want to have sex with a lady who is gullible enough to buy his lies.Even when she buys the lies and eventually falls, its her duty to come back to her senses from evident signs by jilting the guy Asap. Most time, they turn a blind eye to those tell-tale signs or become more gullible than before.
You do realize that people in normal advanced countries have sex mostly for the sake of enjoying it. It is only in places like Nigeria that marriage is the intent.
