You can buy a amazon refurbished one for 150. That's how much I bought mine + a one year warranty of 40 bucks. I'll probably smash it next year and get another one. wink

Just pumpkin. I use spinach normally but I couldn't find it today.
How is the water leaf prepared?
I guess basically the same way you would any other veggie. The only difference i think is when after you wash it, it becomes slick-like which makes the finished product creamy to taste. Sounds weird but it's freaking delicious.

P.s where is cococandy? Been expecting a bombardment of gut wrenching delicacies this christmas, but nothing. Disappointing.

The mistake people make is they always buy their electronics/cars new, forgetting that they lose value the moment you use them. I always buy refurbished. Then i buy insurance/warranty on it. Refurbished is basically new as far as i am concerned.

Politics › Re: Shettima Donates N20million To Civilian JTF Members by Bollinger(m): 11:46am On Dec 30, 2015
donaldofficials:
Following recent attacks by Boko Haram insurgents on some parts of Borno State, Governor Kashim Shettima on Tuesday held a meeting with members of youth volunteers involved in counter insurgency operations popularly known as 'Civilian JTF' during which he appreciated their gallant efforts and unveiled welfare packages for them.
At an open session with majority of the volunteers, Governor Shettima paid glowing tributes to them for sacrificing their lives towards complimenting the efforts of armed forces to fight for the restoration of peace in the state. He said no amount of welfare package can equal the sacrifices being made by the volunteers especially given the fact that some of them had laid their lives for Borno State.
The Governor said despite its meager resource, the Borno state Government would expend whatever it takes to ensure that the volunteers were properly paid allowances, equipped and highly motivated. He announced a bonus of twenty million naira to the volunteers while directing that any backlog of allowances be paid immediately. Shettima directed the Ministry of Health to put a system in place that would guarantee free medical attention to all youth volunteers in all public hospitals in the state. He also ordered the supply of more patrol vehicles to the volunteers.

This does not make any sense. There are only four ways to stabilize the Naira;

1. Stop the over dependence on oil as the main source of revenue.

2. Gather a credible database of it's citizens and begin to tax them equitably and using those funds judiciously. This is what other normal successful countries do.

3. Empower domestic production. Of what use is pegging the highest denomination to 50N when you cannot find goods to buy. You'll still be spending the same amount you are spending now. I didn't make this up. The rules of supply and demand did.

4. Change your mentality as a nation. All this points won't work if you insist on keeping the mentality that got you all in this mess you are in.

Exactly. These mumu Nigerians are already saying "nice one", and all that nonsense forgetting that the percentage amounts to over six million vehicles. Foreign Affairs › Re: Photo: Donald Trump Now Being Compared To Adolf Hitler Over Statement by Bollinger(m): 12:20am On Dec 29, 2015
"The outpouring of blatant Islamophobia and
barely disguised racism coming from the right-
wing in the wake of the Paris attacks is utterly
despicable. Every time one of these attacks
happen, conservatives insist on blaming the
world’s 1.6 billion Muslims for their complicity
,
even though the majority of terrorist attacks
are carried out against Muslim. American far
right-wingers like Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) are
calling for religious profiling of incoming
refugees, because somehow being a Christian
automatically removes the risk of terrorism –
even though Christian right-wing terrorists in
America have killed more people since 9/11 than
Muslim terrorists have
"

Well unfortunately for you, your definition of what a terrorist is, is not what the entire world consider terrorism/terrorist to be. We might as well call an armed robber a terrorist. According to you, a right wing gun touting nutcase is a terrorist. Well it doesn't work that way. He doesn't gather unfortunate souls together to gun them down all in the name of the almighty constitution or for gun rights. He does that, well, because he is a nutjob. And yes, every time one of these hideous attacks by muslim terrorist occurs, the world, not just the USA, blame muslims. Unless you are a muslim of course. Like it or not, you follow a religion where violence is at it's core foundation. Trying to disassociate yourself from it does not change the fact that your muslim brothers and sisters consider it gospel. And i wonder why they would want to live in a land where their religious beliefs are incompatible with the host country's? Why not move to iran, malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and so many more. They wouldn't do that because they love their freedom. I also wonder why these Muslims countries don't welcome them. I remember the day the first wave of syrians arrived Nuremberg. It was horrible. We saw men acting exactly like what we expected. Fighting with the authorities, threatening people, and gesturing with their fore fingers to their throats, suggesting slitting someones throat. I'm going too fast. What about in Nigeria? We all can see how christians have been waging holy war and killing thousands of people in accordance with our religion. Haven't we?

P.s. Please quote one passage of the NEW testament where Jesus christ advocated violence.

Exodus 22:20

they are Old Testament. anything that favours ur pastors from the Old Testament is right.

Once again, a gunman has killed people for political
reasons. Once again, he is described in the mainstream
media using words and phrases such as: deranged,
mentally disturbed, homicidal, gunman, shooter,
criminal, murderer, and lone wolf. He may have been all
of that, but one key descriptive word is conspicuously
missing from most of the commentary: terrorist. Killing
people who don't believe what you believe in order to
further your political aims is, indeed, one of the
definitions of terrorism. If the suspect involved had
recently arrived here from Syria (or anywhere else in the
Middle East, really), would the news networks be so
cautious about calling him a "terrorist"? I seriously
doubt it. In fact, if that were the case, he'd likely be
quickly labelled an "Islamic terrorist."
Obviously you are a muslim and that's why you don't know. The moment Jesus was born, the Old testament became only a point of reference. Meaning the old ways of practicing was over and the teachings of Jesus christ was the way forward. I for one have not read anywhere in the bible where Jesus said to his people to spread the word with violence. Even in the world today, almost every single terrorist act has and is being done by people who follow the muslim faith. That they have twisted the quran to suit themselves is irrelevant. If it happens in one country, i would understand, but for almost all terrorist act to be done by muslims tells you a lot. They are all reading from the same book and there is no way that they all would misinterprete what the quran says. They are a threat to the human race. Imagine what would happen if they got their hands on a nuclear bomb which is one of the reason why the whole world is against iran having nuclear technology. They have said that they do not recognize isreal and would do anything to wipe them from the face of the earth if given the chance. Again muslims. No matter how much you try to convince us about how peace loving the the teachings of islam is, present world situation proves otherwise. Plus, if a "lone shooter" does not say he is killing for islam, then why should the media label him a muslim terrorist. Muslim terrorists post youtube videos before and after their act which leaves nothing in doubt as to why they do/did what they are doing/did.

ur mentality of jihad is holy war by what you were taught in church and Sunday school.
he concept of jihad is indeed a Quranic one, but sadly,
a false and twisted version of this Quranic concept has
been used by terrorists acting in the name of Islam to
commit various terrorist acts. These terrorist acts,
which occur all over the world, aim at the
indiscriminate killing of innocent people. They are
being undertaken in the name of “jihad”. These non-
Islamic acts have gone a long way towards distorting
the image of Islam.

“The true believers are those who believe in God and
His messenger, then attain the status of having no
doubt whatsoever, and strive (jahadu) with their
money and their lives in the cause of God . These are
the truthful ones.” 49:15

“Those who believe, and emigrate, and strive (jahadu)
in the cause of God with their money and their lives,
are far greater in rank in the sight of God. These are
the winners.” 9:20
“As for the messenger and those who believed with
him, they eagerly strive (jahadu) with their money and
their lives. These have deserved all the good things;
they are the winners.” 9:88
p.s. the word “jahadu” is the verb form of the noun
“jihad.
Don't you just love it when people quote whatever they like in a context that supports their opinion even though history and present situations proves otherwise?

Quran (2:191-193) - "And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah [disbelief or unrest] is worse than killing...
but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah [disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah] and worship is for Allah alone. But if they cease, let there be no transgression except against Az-Zalimun (the polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc.)"

Quran (2:216) - "Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not."

Quran (3:151) - "Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority".

Quran (4:76) - "Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah…"

"nuff said.
