LarrySun:Really? Just because you are used to hyperboles and over exaggeration does not mean the rest of the world does. He is not trying to praise or insult anyone. He is just stating the facts as he sees it. |
areyemi:I really don't understand why you are confused. If it were me, I'd go for the one with less pay and the likelihood of being fired. That's just me though. ![]() |
BishopMagic:I swear, the average Nigerian will cut off his nose just to spite his face. He'll be like "phuck you nose. I told you, you don't phuck with me. Let's see how you breath now". |
Lordave:We need to start moving Nigerian children from birth to the civilized world. They'll stay there till they are like 13 years old then brought back. This will help to prevent their mentality from being phucked up. At the rate Nigeria is going, it will take decades to weed out the phucked up way Nigerian's think. |
Horlufemi:You are talking like a r.ape victim. Your leaders have r.aped you to the point that your mind is warped and you don't know right from wrong anymore. This is not for Dasuki. It is in Nigeria's benefit that due process is followed. Today it is Dasuki, tomorrow it could be an innocent man who he is kept in prison indefinitely because of mere suspicion. You all need to start learning how to do things the right way. This jungle justice mentality needs to stop. |
A tortoise and a scorpion were at the bank of a river trying to cross over; Scorpion: Hey, Mr T, What's good? Can you help me across? Tortoise: What? you think i'm daft? I ain't carrying you on my back fool. You'll sting me and then i'll die. Scorpion: That's just stupid. If i sting you and you die, i'll drown. Why would i want to do that? Tortoise: Hmmmm. That kinda makes sense. Ok, hop on. Halfway down the river, the scorpion stings the tortoise and he looks at the scorpion confused as he slowly looses consciousness; Tortoise: But why na? "da phuck? Why would you do that bro? Now i'll die and you'll drown and die too. Scorpion: Hey, what can i say. It's in my nature to sting. It's nature. Neither you or I can change it. Good luck with Buhari. |
Oliviaarims:I think it is clear enough. Read the OP's points again and you'll find that more than half of his/her list can easily be solved by honesty and being oneself. Be open to your girl, Enticing her with money, Surprises can be wrongly-timed, Spend on her, Effective Communication etc All this can easily be managed by being honest with each other and being yourselves. When i was in College, i had this friend, Lekan Axxxxni. He taught me everything i needed to know about the female species. He didn't have a dime nor was he like crazy good looking but he rocked the baddest chicks in school. I used to wonder how he did it and he made me understand. Women, and men by extension want who they can be open with. Honestly open with. We all act tough and aloof with the opposite sex but deep down we all want acceptance and affection. The problem is the unknown. One is always thinking the other party has motives and high expectations which leads to appearances. fake or otherwise. Lekan used to say "act like a Dog around your significant other". I was like "WTF". And he goes "ever got home and your dog sees you? He goes crazy with happiness. He makes you feel like you are the most important thing in the world" If you ever owned a dog you'd understand. Open up about everything with each other, if you don't have money, you don't have money. If you don't like the fact that he or she is always broke make your feelings known and sit down to find ways of reversing the situation. If you are not in the mood, you are not in the mood. A lot of things can be solve with honesty. |
VickyRotex:Please remind me, when was Nigeria ever great? |
I could have summarized all this for the OP with one sentence. Be honest and be yourself and everything will be fine. |
fratermathy:Lol. . .Nigerians don suffer so te, dem no know the beginning and end of suffer again. ![]() |
Eshinwaju:He is wrong on the dasuki arrest. In normal societies, you have to conduct a thorough investigation before you arrest a suspect. Once the matter is in the hands of the courts and bail is granted you cannot arrest him again. Reason is, it is common sense to come to the conclusion that there might be mischief from the state by withholding charges in order to keep the suspect in prison perpetually. Another way the suspect might be re arrested legally, is if he/she committed another crime not linked to the one he was granted bail for. For example, maybe the suspect committed rape during the time of the bailed offence. What the state is doing to Dasuki is wrong and they need to fix it. At present, he can only be arrested if he breaks the terms of his bail or if there is evidence he is about to commit another crime. |
musicwriter:I beg tell them. Tell them. I don talk tire. Nigerian's only care about NOW, not the impact of their actions or the future and how it relates to them. This jungle justice mentality needs to stop. |
etebefia:This is one major point a lot of Nigerians don't understand. When they jubilate over a lynching for example, they don't understand that anyone can call them an armed robber one day out of spite and they'll be praying for due process. Suspicion and allegations are not enough to crucify a person (depending on the crime). Stealing is not a crime that needs this level of social annihilation. If anything, Nigerians should be looking deeper into their phucked up system which allows this level of cash transaction. |
Tolexander:There are some crimes you are accused of all over the world where they lock you up and throw away the keys. Terrorism for one. Every country is in agreement on this. And nowhere did a court order say to release a terrorist suspect and the government of America said no. Unlike what is happening in Nigeria. |
At the moment, Nigeria needs roads, schools, food, stable power, etc but none more important than a shift in the mentality of it's citizens. This is absolutely the most important of it's needs. Without it, no meaningful development can ever be achieved. |
buzquet:What do you mean "what they have?" What do Nigerians had to be appreciative of? No let suffer cloud your sense of reasoning. |
Nigerians think a fire extinguisher is not a suggestion, it is a necessity. |
I respect everyone's opinion. I really do. But, the opinions expressed in Nigeria by Nigerians leads to one major conclusion. Nigerians have a thoroughly phucked up mentality. |
I have a problem with; "On the clash between Shi’ites and the Nigerian Army in Zaria and his silence i. I have allowed the army and the Kaduna State government to come up with their reports before I come out to speak on the clash. This does not mean that the police and the DSS are not doing their part. ii. The situation in Zaria is very serious… How can one group create a state within a state? There is nothing like jurisdiction in the legal process in Nigeria. It does not make any sense. Who is in charge of this investigation? In the US, one agency would take charge of an investigation so as not to create confussion as well as not to waste valuable resource. We see it everyday. LASTMA, KAI, VIO, ROAD SAFETY, all doing the same thing which is absolutely insane. |
The only reason a man would use this kind of excuse is if he thinks the people he is talking to are s.tupid. FK has good reason to think Nigerians are. |
slbee:Bro's, every single human being has right's irrespective of whatever crime you suspect him/her of. When you let emotions take over reasoning, what you will have is chaos. Due process must always be followed for all our sake. Nigeria's jungle justice mentality needs to stop. |
Opiosko:Wait, did he actually say that? and some really, really dull Nairalanders are rating him 5/10. Really? i won't even give a 2. He never seems to be able to explain how he is going to get things done. It's always "i am going to build more schools", "i will give 5k to unemployed Nigerians". But how are you going to do this things?. . . . . silence. |
Davido said "her background is very dissimilar from mine, and she has very paltry education and equally diminished physical attributes". For most people who don't understand the true meaning of this, he is saying that his penis was doing the thinking when he hooked up with the lady multiple times. Because I don't understand why you would have a child with someone you are incompatible with unless you were thinking with something other than your head. |
TheDevilIsALai:Which unit were/are you in? |
Xapio:Can you blame the OP? Nigerians swallow anything like a Hot nymphomaniac so why shouldn't he doctor a few random news stories dug up from the internet? |
Omenkata:Keep posting. You prove my point every time. |
Omenkata:I feel you. Dull people always find it hard to understand. But it's ok. You are not alone. |
Omenkata:I just might decide to relocate back to Nigeria soon. You guys are just to dull for words. It's easy to manipulate dull people. Yes. I just might do that. |
yomi007k:You should be showing him the dangers of doing things like that without the proper PPE's. Not encouraging him by giving him tips. What is wrong is wrong no matter the good intentions. This is how diseases spread. |
Wait 3 years, come back and take a new picture of the school. You'll be asking "is this what a farm looks like in ondo state?" |
Bryan37:The OP is high on dung. The question is now that the price of oil does not suit Nigeria anymore, what next for Nigeria? Niger Delta is in Nigeria and Nigeria has been rapi.ng the region for decades. And for his/her information, the dependence on oil has made the whole country lazy and unproductive so trying to disassociate yourself now is idiocy. |
Mike008:I am a member of Amazon prime. Zero shipping cost. |
