ilevic:I thought I was the only one who was confused. People are just too st.upid. or is the op that is is s.tupid for not explaining exactly what he is trying to convey because when you read the sentence in reverse it actually does not make any sense. |
Omoakinsuyi:Seriously? |
Monalisa185:Good question. I swear there are some very s.tupid MOD's working for seun. |
I've always said it and will continue to say it, anyone who puts their lives for everyone to see on social media deserves whatever they get. |
Hiploko:Well said. Their job is to better your lives and sustain it. The problem is you all are ok with handouts. Just a small semblance of anything and you'll be smitten. I wonder how you all think i swear. Tomorrow we'll have the same discussion. And the next day. And the next. On and on and on. You all are the problem. You welcome it, thereby sustaining the rot in the country. You all want things to change but don't want to think and do the things normal people do to be successful. I hail una. |
Hiploko:Nigerians really love suffer i swear. So because jonathan built some roads, gave you power that was unsustainable, and added a few more universities means he did a good job? guess what? that was his job and then some. You people really love the razmataz of leadership. Once they dazzle you then you'll be ok. "fayose shared some rice yesterday, so he must be doing a good job". "david mark gave us some salt and beans, i must vote for him". Meanwhile their real agenda is to rap.e you blind. The leadership in Nigeria is not the problem. The problem is it's citizens. These leaders won't be there if you all didn't allow it and still allow it. You all complain and complain and in four years time will make the same mistake you all keep making; bringing in the same kind of leadership based on hunger, frustration and desperation and less on credibility and performance. Then the cycle will continue all over again. |
Teryfik:This is the best comment yet. ![]() |
Did you hear the question that was asked? "how are you going to fund the budget?". Nigerians need to start asking such questions. I have been saying this like forever. Also notice how the president couldn't answer properly? Just saying "agriculture and mineral resources" does not mean anything until you can back it with figures. Nigerians really need to wake up. |
BeeBeeOoh:You are under the illusion that marriage is for every one. It is not a must that one marries. Being married does not mean automatic happiness you know. |
Horlawale1:Lol...."Nigeria will be great again". Please remind me, when was Nigeria ever great? |
IamDejman:What do you mean "if truly it's a mental problem?". Don't you see the way people jump up for joy when there is a lynching? Didn't you see the BBC documentary on corruption in Nigeria with documented proof? Two months with no fuel and nobody in government is talking about resigning .These are serious problems which stems from the way Nigerian's think. |
Nigerian's will never learn. Soon they'll have the nerve to open their mouths to blame the govt forgetting that they themselves are the root cause of their own problems. |
IamDejman:Which youth? You forget that you all have the same jacked up mentality. It is not about the old and the new. It is about the way Nigerian's think in general. Classic example is Ben bruce. He is well travelled and somewhat enlightened. But because he has stayed in Nigeria too long, his mentality is now questionable. There is a mental problem in Nigeria that will take generations to weed out. |
I was shocked when I heard the way Nigerian's use watsapp. You have to subscribe to it through a service provider. . WTF? It's supposed to be free isn't it? Or at least somewhat free. |
tintingz:He didn't have to. His presence did. |
gozzilla:Even if your elders are Fayose, Obasanjo, wike, etc. If they were so awesome, Nigeria would not be in this present predicament. |
Welcome to the club. The military treated everyone badly so you are not left out. |
mykl01:Solutions? I have some. But it will not solve all your problems but it is a start. 1. As a Nation, change your mentality. It is too phucked up. 2. Invest in your history. Learn about your past leaders from independence. You all forget too quickly. The fact that you can say that fuel scarcity is worse under buhari's administration is laughable. It has always been bad. 3. Move away from your over dependence on Oil. Any nation whose source of income is based on one source of revenue does not deserve to exist. 4. Start educating yourselves on taxation. Ever wondered why the most successful nations generate more than 70 percent of their revenue from taxation? it is stable and does not fall to the whims of oil prices. 5. As a Nation, change your mentality. It is too phucked up. That's a start. Now will Nigerian's follow these common sense approach? I doubt it. |
GamaG:It's not just "Riverians", Most Nigerian's do. The mentality is just too phucked up. The reason you don't know and defend it so vigorously is because you are used to it. You are immune to it. You don't know any better. Phucked up shiit is normal to you. A nigerian would see a dead person on the street while strolling and just shrug and keep walking. Why? because he's/she's used to it. Abi i lie? |
mykl01:So basically things were terrible then and now they are horrible. And lol to your comment about fuel. Unless you are one year old, then i'll have you know that there have always been fuel scarcity in Nigeria on a yearly basis since forever. Nigerian's forget too quickly. |
GamaG:Rivers state is basically filled with touts. I have already posted my reasons and i will post it again. "I meant every word. Many, many, many, many, many, many, many years ago in Nigeria, i was a marketing manager in multi a national company. My area of responsibility was the south. My headquarters in this region was rivers state. It was hell. There were touts in the guise of local government employees everywhere. You couldn't do business comfortably and we were paying 50k a month to buy "stickers". Every month. 50k a month in those was a lot of money. If you are a marketing person and drive a branded vehicle, you'll understand what i mean. Another problem were the so called youths. They would show up at your doorstep demanding that you employ their indegenes by force even though they weren't suited for the jobs available. And the crime rate. Jesus. You didn't know who was a robber or police. There was this murderous look on most people faces over there and i was glad to get the phuck out of that town". |
GamaG:lol. . .check out the way the guy is vigorously defending a phucked up state. |
herbie27:So because time is money, i can't be on vacation and enjoy a nice saturday evening? Really? Ok, if you want me to give a random location i will. Let's say i'm in ilorin. Satisfied? |
herbie27:Not In Nigeria. |
herbie27:Lol. . .He didn't get it |
herbie27:If you asked the average Nigerian he'll tell you that Americans are stupid for paying tax. Because of this, Nigeria is awesome because the country doesn't take it seriously. Forgeting that it is a big part of why Nigeria is the way it is. He's so used to the present predicament that any other way seems wrong. My point is you are immune to the phucked up shiit in that state because you've been there too long. You've been too close to it. |
herbie27:Tell me your name and address first. |
herbie27:Lol. .. . ignorantly. I've lived and worked there. |
waxdude:I meant every word. Many, many, many, many, many, many, many years ago in Nigeria, i was a marketing manager in multi a national company. My area of responsibility was the south. OFFICIAL336:Seriously? is he OPEC? Politicians world wide will say anything to get elected. Even Obama promised not to make America a gay nation but he was the first one to legalize gay marriage. It is your responsibility to grill aspiring public holders with questions. Questions like "how are you going to achieve this?" or "how are you going to fund your projects?". All Nigerians want are promises and they swallow it with glee even if those promises don't make sense. "i will give every unemployed person in Nigeria 5k per month" and nobody bothered to ask how it would be funded or how who would benefit be determined. Nigerians need to wake up and smell the coffee. The fault lies with it's citizens and less with leadership. Four years from now, the same mistakes will be made again. Casting votes based less on performance and credibility and more on greed, hunger and desperation. |
sweatlana:Too simple. When you build your house. Floor it with gold. Paint it with diamond. Then at your front gate put up a sign that says "welcome to feaces lodge". |
Atmmachine:I am not surprised. People in Rivers state think with their asses. Hope the girl is found sha. |
