Bro, you have to keep pushing. I'm also in a similar situation but man has to be relentless. I once got a regret mail while still writing a test at P&G. I've received many 'love letters' that I now recognize them before reading. Immediately you see....thank you for taking time.....it's a rejection I've done metering jobs though on contract, it didn't last, teaching jobs, managed to get a master's with a scholarship. Chevron recently kept mute just when we were on the verge on being taken for graduate internship. I'm learning coding too. Business is always good but sometimes you need some savings to start plus location factor. It's not easy when you're still on daily survival stage. So, all in all, never relent
Please house, I'm also on the lookout for graduate internship positions, would appreciate any assistance...my discipline is Petroleum Engineering |

ImmaculateJOE: You thought about Immaculate Conception is wrong. Immaculate Conception is not about Jesus Christ but about Mary herself. She was conceived without the sin of Adam & Eve at her mother's womb I know very well..my sentence construction was bad....I only mentioned it just for emphasis because it's part of God's well mapped out plan for the womb that will bear the saviour of the world |

It was God's plan. However, Mary had a choice to make. Let it be done to me according to your word....it was this response that sealed it So, she accepted a message which was very difficult to comprehend Nothing about God's plan is accidental. Moreover, the conception and birth of the saviour of the world is not expected to follow the usual process, hence the name Immaculate Conception |
Romance › Re: He Wants To Propose To Her Before Traveling Abroad, Please Advise. by boninho: 11:05pm On Dec 17, 2019 |
Spiritfun: I met this beautiful girl sometimes two years ago. She's intelligent, smart and well mannered. I professed my love for her some two months into our friendship but she outrightly said NO.
I decided not to give up on her but to show her more love and care. As days went by, our friendship grew stronger, my love for her grew as well. Our life's goals are so similar that I find it very difficult to let her go.
I made sure I took the center stage in her life by doing everything necessary to help her build her dreams and its working perfectly.
I started showing her off on my social media handles just to test her reaction but contrary to my expectations, she loved it. I was proud that somehow I have perforated her defences.
Along the line, she started professing love to me too and that was the best moment of my emotional life. Then I decided to propose to her again but alas, she said NO and I was very sad and frustrated and she noticed it. At that point, I decided to give up on her and focus on other goals in life. She pleaded with me not to let our friendship die because she's afraid of losing me. I didn't bother to ask her for explanation on why I should still remain her friend without knowing where it will lead to in the end. I didn't also bother to ask her reasons for turning me down two times. I just agreed to her plea and ended the conversation.
I tactically started avoiding her to enable me heal but she would complain and plead with me to keep the friendship. I sucumbed because this girl has almost all the qualities I need in a wife and because of my standard, it's really difficult for me to find someone else that matches my preferences.
I know almost all her secrets and she knows mine too except my plans to travel abroad, preferably Canada. I made sure I did not let her know about this for some reasons.
Then, I found myself being obsessed with her again and she's been all over me too.
Now the crux of the matter is that I have perfected my plans to travel on or before February next year and I want to give her the last chance and propose to her again. I've conditioned my mind to accept whatever response she will give me and move on with or without her.
My major problem is whether to tell her about my travel plans before I propose to her or vice-versa. I know she also nurses the dream of living abroad. I'm afraid she might accept my proposal if I let her know about my Canada plans if I let her know about it before proposing to her.
Kindly advise me on this please cos I don't want to make any mistakes. I LOVE THIS GIRL and I'm certain that will make a good wife for me. Bro, I must tell you your approach has nailed you down to a difficult situation. Your actions depict you as a needy type. You make her feel you have no life without her. You are too available, no value. She loves you as you claim but doesn't love you enough to accept your proposal. Any decision she makes now is based on your travel information. Twice she turned you down...damn grow some balls brother. Shes manipulating your emotions. Cut off the regular calls and chats, stop acting needy...you had a life before her. Watch her reactions when you do all these. For the records, as good as you think she is, she is 100% replaceable |

It's like you people don't watch LA liga Real Madrid has failed to push on by signing top players during their UCL triple win...I pity them if they meet Liverpool....a team now hugely dependent on Benzema for goals....their great players no longer at peak powers....youngsters like Rodrigo now regulars...This is not the Madrid of 3-4 seasons ago with Kroos, Modric n co at peak level plus a relentless goal machine in CR7 and it is also not the Liverpool of then with few tricks.....Madrid have regressed due to their relaxation when everything was going great while Liverpool have grown in leaps and bounds Should they meet at this stage with the crucial 2nd leg surely at Anfield due to Liverpool finishing top of their group, it's over for Real |

Romance › Re: I Accommodate Her In My House, Now I Am In Love With Her by boninho: 9:33pm On Dec 13, 2019 |
ElonEmpire: I met this girl online, we happen to come from same LGA, We got talking and later became friends.
Months later she complained about having accommodation Issue. Now, me am hardly around because of the nature of my job so I felt is OK letting her go stay there at least to keep my apartment warm and clean.
Though this is not the first time am doing that, For over 5 years now it has been people staying in my house because in a year I don't even sleep more than 2 months in my house.
The last person that stayed there was also a lady the few times I go home during her stay we are OK, more like brother and sister. In fact neighbors actually thought we were.
Now come this new girl I don't know her before, infact she has spent like 6 months in my house before I went back.
During those times she was catching feelings for me weda she is serious about it or not I don't know but I told her point blank that I'm into a serious relationship and she should maintain her boundary when ever I come back.
Months later i travelled and see her in person.. To say that she is beautiful is understatement, she is definition of beauty. She is irresistable.
I have traveled couple of time after the first time and each of this time I try so hard to maintain my dignity, self respect and not to misbehave. We sleep on same bed, though i have decide to be sleeping on the floor or another room. She changes in my presence.
I'm seriously going crazy right now about this girl.. Infact I see my self getting Jealous about the guy she is seeing recently.
I don't know how to hand the situation, I can't afford to misbehave because, 1st she call me brother.
2ndly considering the circumstance that brought her to my house I can't afford to misbehave because am this one person who don't like taking advantage of women.
And lastly I can't cheat on my girl. But I can't ask her to leave because for now she have no where to go.
Please how do I handle the situation?! You may decide not to pursue her from your house but bear in mind, a woman always has options, there's always somewhere she can stay |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Everton Vs Chelsea (3 - 1) On 7th December 2019 by boninho: 1:39pm On Dec 08, 2019 |
jelel6: When you said only "two can start" I was really lost on your tangent. The 3 of them played majority of last season in a flat 4-3-3. They all played against Liverpool both games (They were all magnificent), Against Man city, they were great because of the control we have in midfield in the first 30 minutes.
It's obvious that having Kovacic-Kante pairing wasn't a remedy for defensive lapses. they've started several games and we conceded in all of them, and score few or fire blanks.
it's somehow funny when you believe a 4-2-3-1 actually protects the fullbacks better than a 4-3-3. Just think about all the teams who employed high-flying fullbacks in recent past and the formation used. Barca, Bayern, Madrid, Liverpool, City.
See, Mount does work hard but his contribution is farther away from our defensive third. He helps the pressing to upfield which gives us opportunity to counter immediately.
Jorginho moves the ball better than anyone quickly and consistent. he finds an angle. But he's also a primary defensive midfielder. A Kante-Jorginho-Kovacic brings greater balance than anyone that includes Mount. Talkless of the Kante-Kovacic variant with one less natural defensive midfielder.
Funny how Lampards thinks the 3 could play against the big teams and not against the smaller teams. I understand you better now...but come to think of it....4 3 3 requires midfielders well technically gifted...look at the teams you mentioned, Barca Bayern, Mancity....these guys control 60% of possession on average. I feel 4 3 3 for Chelsea is more potent against big sides because the opponents want to play. A trio of Kovacic,Kante, Jorginho cannot offer enough penetration for highly defensive teams operating with low blocks when out of possession. It becomes more tricky if their transition is very quick with pacy players. Kovacic and Jorginho are not that blessed with pace for recovery. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Everton Vs Chelsea (3 - 1) On 7th December 2019 by boninho: 4:36pm On Dec 07, 2019 |
jelel6: We won games when Kante was absent. Jorginho and Kovacic are very technical players and understand how to control the midfield with precise passing and movements. We played our best football with both on the pitch.
Kante will always play if fit, I get. Kante is very good at box to box roles nowadays so playing with Kovacic who drives forward too perfectly suite Jorginho because he stays back.
Now Mount is a good player. But he doesn't actually contributes directly in goal scoring. He's score a few but what does he give when he's not scoring? He's poor passing and looses balls everytime. Attacks breaks down with he's poor execution of passes.
Play a proper 4-3-3. Kante-Jorginho-Kovacic is a potential world class midfield. more solidity at the back and we'll still score goals. Boss, you will certainly win some games, but you have to analyse the level of threat the opponents you won posed...so it doesn't work like that...if you play Jorginho as the deep lying playmaker, Kovacic can't operate as a left sided midfielder. Nobody will cover for the LB when he pushes forward because naturally, Kovacic will drift inside. Same problem with Jorginho as the right sided midfield if you play Kante as the holding midfielder. Due to their characteristics, only two can start... especially away from home where teams get a bit bolder...with Chelsea's inverted wingers, there's more ground for midfielders to cover if you play 4 3 3 |

If not for his reputation gathered over the years, CR7 is not even supposed to appear anywhere in top 10 Ballond'or nominees. He did practically nothing individually. Serie A gave him best player award to massage his ego because of his overall value to the league's image plus Juventus influence. Quagliarella was top scorer, far better than him last season, he won Serie A which doesn't hold significance any longer, worst still he wasn't prolific at least to lay claim for individual brilliance
He should just buckle down and see if Juve can somehow win UCL and give him a chance at those individual awards....Messi is not yet done with Ballond'or, so it's too early to start wailing sef |
