logon599: Mind games. Liverpool were 7 points clear after 20 games last season and you still caught them with 18 games left. Now they're 9 clear and we've not even reached halfway yet. Meanwhile what a job Lampard and Rodgers are doing at Chelsea and Leicester respectively. If Chelsea beat Man City after the international break, they will become Liverpool's main challenger for the title. And to think Chelsea are the team with the transfer ban and the team that lost their most influential player at the beginning of the season. Regardless of what happens at the end of the season I think credit is due. Mount, Abraham, Tomori, Pulisic, Zouma. On another day these names sound like players you'll draft to help you avoid defeat to Brentford in the Carabao cup but Lampard has got them believing and challenging at the very top. Kudos. From a non Chelsea fan.
Meanwhile people contact me for your well designed building plans at very good prices and from any where you're based. I make ordinary houses extraordinary with top designs. Contact is in signature below and in any of the links there. Previous design samples are available. Thank you! Chelsea has improved but they are not going to beat City at Etihad.....City is a different level....Chelsea has stabilized enough to beat the mid table guys sha but don't get excited. The likes of Tomori, Abraham, Mount haven't experienced the kind of pressure City will pose at Etihad....did they beat Sheffield, no...Leicester, no.... Liverpool, no....these are the people that have started excellently this season City is wounded, they will 100% beat Chelsea after Int'l break...let's not lay too much expectations on Chelsea, they are still growing and evolving |

We were pampered with champagne football by Iheanacho set and ruthless finishing by Osimhen set....this set has nothing to offer, no structure in terms of playing style, no organization, no technicality, selfishness from attacking players...the signs were all there..always conceding first...relying on late surge when opponents were tired out....their luck ran out today, schooled by Ajax youth team dominated Netherlands...better at possession, better at organization, better at defending |

Long overdue....should have gone last season He hasn't improved any aspect of their play Bayern can go from 9/10 performance in a match to 4/10 performance next...no consistency An ambitious club reacts when it's obvious the gaffer can't take the club forward
United is still waiting for miracle from Ole....one step forward, two steps backwards....lack of ambition. Since 2013, they are still talking about overhaul, yet transfer window will open, they won't seriously react. If he didn't play for the club, tell me if he would have been considered for the job or wouldn't have been sacked now...sentiments No clear identity in terms of playing style, poor players, mediocre coach...summary, no chance for big achievements, well maybe they have accepted they are just a miserable team |

The game has gone the way United wanted. Liverpool keep making the same mistakes. Sluggish start every time. For this united team better suited to counter attacking style, you have to go ahead first to make them come out, that's why city always succeed at Old trafford, you must draw first blood to kill off their hope of nicking 1 goal and hoping to sit back....United will continue to struggle against smaller teams who affords them the ball and demands them to come break them down
A very missed opportunity for Liverpool...it's 2points dropped
In summary The result is detrimental to both sides
United will keep living in the illusion that Ole is good enough and players good too
Liverpool continues to miss out on opportunity to make real statement |

Damn! What exactly inspires this kind of patience?
How about learning skills? Hair dressing, tailoring, etc.
Must graduates get employed before they eat or deal with their responsibilities?
The truth remains that pride is the reason why most graduates in Nigeria are struggling. Until we start hustling like we don't have certificate, it will be difficult to make it. How did you arrive at the conclusion she just folded her hands all through the 5years, so she couldn't have learnt a skill and be earning while still applying for a bigger paying job?...you made a very shabby conclusion about her |

You talk about great talents?
The talents he discovered and is nurturing right? That's the mentality we are talking about. So if he discovered talents and over time they are not fully maximized, he should still remain just because he discovered them.... football is about progressiveness. He has performed reasonably, it's appreciated but we have to keep moving forward and the fact is hes not innovative and tactically sound enough to orchestrate that next step |

If NFF wants to fully take advantage of this talented set of players and set Africa and the world alight, then he should be thanked and relieved of his duties. But if they are comfortable with decent results, great ones once in a while playing uninspiring football, then he can stay |

kenzysmith: Good day fellow nigerians i have come to realize that genort rohr have come to sentimental critizing from most nigerians since he got the job. For me genort rohr has done well he is building a strong squad for the future we don't have players from real madrid' psg, liverpool or bacerlona. So we don't expect to be winning every matches where as this is friendly and is not a must win sitiuation is an avenue for testing new players . Buh for us to draw with brazil is a big plus for us. For the ist time players are been picked base on form not name which is a welcome development for us. Constructive critism is welcome not setimental critism due to ur clamour for a local coach. With Genort rohr i see nigerian football moving to the next level. He's tactically deficient, too conservative, very predictable with his playing system.... He's blessed with a very good talented squad but he's not progressive and innovative....hence, we can never see the very best of those players |

oluwaahmed: CR7 fans always claim he is the ewu because he has won major titles in 5 euro leagues but messi has remained in Barca all his life. But leme ask them this question, what is the similarity between Barca and Man u, Sporting CP, Juventus , real Madrid? They all dominate their league. When CR7 was in Man u, many was dominating england under sir Alex Ferguson, same with sporting, real and Juve. These clubs at the time he played were dominant so its basically the same. If CR7 was in a club like west ham and dey won EPL I can say that he is the greatest, but he was in already made clubs (no matter the country) like Barca so why shouting messi should leave? So if messi goes to a man city and they win the league how would it have been different from when he was in barca? If messi goes to Ayax and they win the league what's the difference? Argentina has not won the world cup with messi but they have reached the final twice with messi, what of Portugal? They always find a way to crash out in the group stage in fact the last time Portugal got to the quarter final of WC was during the days of Figo. So please numbers and statistics don't lie give honor to whom honor is due. MESSI the undisputed GOAT who derives joy when his team wins whether he scores or not. Real niggers who recognise real gather together for a group shot with the GOAT If you have strong reasons, mention them not these lame points.... Argentina has played only one world cup final, How many knockout goals did Messi score in the world cup that brought them to that final...zero....you can stand on your opinion that Messi is better but don't bring issue of their national team influence because CR7 is far better |

Sports › Re: See Why Manchester United Fans Support Manchester City To Beat Their Club by boninho: 10:46pm On Apr 23, 2019 |
Young generation fans have no idea of the hatred and rivalry between United and Liverpool. Its unfortunate United find themselves in this situation where they need the points but no true United fan wishes Liverpool to win anything for the next 100years. It is a rivalry steeped deep into the club both economically and on the pitch. Liverpool fans till date have been banned from entrying Anfield through the away end entrance after a fan threw an egg at Sir Alex in the 90's...the last time a transfer happened between the clubs was way back in 1964. A club that chants sick songs mocking the Munich air disaster where United lost eight first team players....make no mistake, every Liverpool fan hates United with every drop of their blood...same feeling for United towards Liverpool...because football historically in the Northwest where these two teams are situated is not just a sport but a religion |

Adiwana: Lmao. All this are excuses. Its no magic that the team didn't score yesterday and its not because of any injuries but because the team has been playing poorly due to rigid and static management from Sarri.Yesterdays team were decent enough to get maximum points and score at least 2 goals.I can go on and mention games where Chelsea had a very good squad and still fumbled like the game against West Ham earlier in the season.
As I said any manager with a decent team will win this Chelsea because Sarri has no clue what he's doing. He plays a flat 4-4-3 formation with Kante as a Box to Box midfielder. Who does that??Kante is not a technically gifted player that will get you goals still he plays Kante up field and still expect him to cover Jorginho. And for Jorginho,he's just a regista that contributes nothing else in his game play. That Liverpool wanted him has no meaning.Hes very poor in defending,Lacks pace, easily loses duels and is very easily bullied off the ball.
With the way Chelsea have been playing,if Arsenal and Manchester United can add a couple of additions in terms of defence and midfielders,Chelsea will not any top 4 irrespective of who they think they will buy Rightly pointed out. One problem I have with Sarri is complete lack of plan B, same issues at Napoli....Kante as box to box midfielder? Is it that he fails to understand that Kante is not as technically gifted as Hamsik and Allan at Naples when it comes to recycling possession |

I have a feeling things might be different for Liverpool this season
Important players are fit Last min goal vs Everton...potential champions luck ( ask City about last season at home vs Southampton) Mahrez missed penalty at Anfield Conceding only 8goals in 20games so far....you dont do that by luck...they have improved defensively...Van Dijk signing key City injuries here and there to important players and dropping unexpected points
True, things change so quickly in football, so nothing is certain but if they escape Etihad tomorrow without defeat, this might be their year |

I know I'm diligent with strong academic records but series of regret mails keeps dampening my spirit. Hoping to secure internship by the end of coursework next year to be able to complement by acquired knowledge with practical experience. It has been a year full of thoughts, missed opportunities, disappointments and unsuccessful side hustles
