Your GPA definitely qualifies you, and I think your certifications are sort of aligned too, because the TIM program @CU has some PM (Project mgt) elements. I really hope you get the admission to Carleton asap

Meanwhile, to your question, I don't think anything is guaranteed in terms of admission or visa approval, as sometimes a departmental course simply being filled-up might just be the reason for a rejection, that's why I asked if you mailed the course admin @CU before applying. while for the visa, I think it is up to you to craft a very clear vision of why you want to take the path you're taking and how it aligns to your career goals, dreams and aspirations. So yea, your SOP will really give you the best chances. Same thing applies to the Study-permit application, tell your story on why you really want to do the course, do research about past students & career options on graduation on the program's website & align it to your vision to score cheap points with the VO.

I have applied for Masters in two universities in Canada: UniOttawa and Carleton University. The courses are Digital Transformation/Innovation and Technology Innovation Mgt respectively.

I graduated with 2.1 (GPA 3.9) in Marketing, and has worked for over 5 years as Executive Assistant, with a certification in Project Mgt; combined with training in Digital Marketing.

Please do you think my intended courses align fully well with my academic and professional background, to guarantee me admission and visa?

I think you should have at least appreciate your wife while also highlighting your dissatisfaction with the turn out of things during the wedding.

I am a Certified Project Management Associate, and what I learned during my training is that people assume that by having 100% of the money, everything must go as they plan.

Failure on the part of the MC, photographer, and DJ can disrupt your event even after paying them. Some things could have been outside your wife control even after committing those vendors.

I also blame you for not getting involved in the logistics for the event by calling constantly. You assumed just giving cash is enough.....Absolutely wrong. You gave money, but couldn’t assist your wife in monitoring the whole arrangement to ensure everything is in place before the event.

What if she was overwhelmed? What if she forgot somethings by trying to be everywhere?

I once attended one small reunion, and one of our team mate forgot to bring the palm wine that was entrusted in his care.......the guy responsible for asun was stucked in traffic, and the whole thing wasn’t exciting as we had planned......These are instances of how things can disrupt people’s special moment..

If I were you, I would appreciate that woman for doing her best, and I implore you to learn a bitter lesson from this, for future events you guys would likely plan together as couples.

I have gotten several interviews invites from LinkedIn.....................Early this year, I declined an offer from a global development consulting firm here in Lagos. The HR even asked me to recommend someone since I wasn't interested. The few individuals I tried to linked up with the job on LinkedIn only responded to my messages after a week

Like someone said earlier, you need a verifiable work experience and skills.

Mind you, I am in Admin function, but with skills across project management and data analytics.
