Mujtahida:

Guy there was tension that day. I really didn't enjoy watching the match. In fact I felt we were poor. But after the match I rewatched the match and I saw that we weren't poor. Only there was too much pressure, too much expectation and the Zambians were dogged. The fact is the match was interesting with wave after wave of attack alternated by both sides. What the Zambians did was to make sure they broke up our passing game by upping the tempo of the game. It made us erratic and unsettled. It affected Balogun more than any other player in the first half. By the second half the Zambians naturally dropped some bit on the energy. That goal came through 15 passes from our end and very tight ones in the last seven that led to the goal.

The key is to not let Nigeria get into their rhythm. Once we do, we score. All our matches bear this out.
Thank you broh!!!

why are some people castigating ighalo already??..cos of those chances he missed,??....not even clear chances for that matter!!!....hahaha maybe i would take you guys serious when you name a striker that doesn't/hasn't miss(ed) chances !!!
And to think that you guys are not considering the pressure and tension the players (especially the striker) were under is below the belt..

As for KC,he is so left-footedness that he can't do ANYTHING with the right foot...
though he s very clinical.

Pls can u explain why u pick Onazi over Ndidi,Musa over Etebo and starting Akpeyi, also Ighalo leading attack and Nacho behind coz i don't see Rohr benching Etebo or Ndidi.
For the records, this line up is born out of my perception.. as regards picking onazi over ndidi,we have used onazi-mikel partnership for years and i wouldn't change that overnight in this crucial match....i chose musa over etebo, first of, due to his speed. secondly, etebo has never player from the wings in SE so thiz no time for experimentation....i know akpeyi lacks self confidence but he's more experienced amongst the park..... To answer you question as regards choosing ighalo as the cf and iheanacho as the AM,ighalo can match up with the physicality of cameroun defenders while iheanacho will be completely lost in the game if played as the cf.
.
. With my lil knowledge of the game,This is what i can say!!!

forgiveness:

Not so fast. grin

@bolded suggest otherwise looking at your past comments. grin

You were busy looking out for who is from one particular section of the country. Abi dat one too na Football analyses? grin

Initially, they said I am PRO-YORUBA but when facts began to stair dem 4 faces dat I have defended players from all sections of the country, they coined 'na Igbo hater' smh! grin

Where dem see me mention Igbo for this thread, even in politics section, I avoid addressing people by tribe. In short, I coined the word Westerner, Easterner etc on this forum. grin

Record is there for all to see... Heee! Some has been deleted due to the attack on Nairaland. grin

I go show snapshot of all the parts of the country I have died for here and no one should change mouth when dem see the people dem suppose I hate. grin

One even said I stopped talking about Ebuehi because of Aina when it's dam obvious that I have not been active on this thread for months. shocked shocked grin grin

Is Aina even eligible to play for Nigeria? No shocked grin

Then, how can I talk about one who is not cleared by FIFA for a crucial match against Cameroon? grin

Some people mind shallow, Walahi! grin

Below is the snapshot of the genesis of name or tribe checker. Guess who? grin

Joseph and I had a heated argument about who is better between Solanke and Iheanacho.

My opinion then and even till date is that Solanke is a better player than Kelechi.

Remember, Solanke never win U20 World player of the Tournament ooooooo but I still knew he was that good.

Behold, Solanke is benching experienced and more expensive players than himself at LIVERPOOL.... I no go talk further.... grin

You all know the rest.

But Icon4s, with his google of tribalism started pointing to tribalism when there was nothing of such.

Abi na Tribalism carry Solanke reach where em dey. grin

People who cry tribalism are weak minded souls looking for the easiest way to shun and shut down a reasonable and constructive argument. grin
Mr. man you no get chill at all...most of us here understood the point you ve been making...Now can we move on,?.
.
.
.4 days to go and few of us are stil in this TRIBALISM issue...i tire !!!

From the commentaries from the just concluded game between Chelsea and Everton, I can surmise that V.Moses had an injury free game, thus an report that claims he sustained an unnoticed injury or injury from training will be termed a feigned injury to me.
