ComputersRe: How To Repair Corrupted Hard Drive/memory Card by bosunjohns(m): 10:14am On Aug 14, 2015
Naijakick:
Ever had a memory card that was corrupted due to virus or improper ejection of the hard drive or memory card. Here’s how you can recover a corrupted memory card /hard drive :

-first insert the memory card or hard drive through the USB port and remove
All other drives if connected.
-now check the letter name of your memory card or hard drive it could be letter G, F or any other letter.
-now click start and search for command prompt

image1

-now type diskpart in command prompt and pop up might appear asking for permission, click on ok.

image2

-now type listdisk and you will see all the external drive listed there

image3

-you will see your external drive number note down the disk number.
-now type select disk disks number (for example select disk 4)and press enter.
-now type clean and press enter.
–now type create partition primary and then press enter.
-now type active and then press enter.
-now enter the command select partition 1.
–now type format fs=fatal and press enter.
That’s all it will take some time and then your drive will be formatted successfully and ready to use.

FamilyRe: When your maid becomes the madam. by bosunjohns(m): 7:19am On Aug 14, 2015
Toks2008:
THE MAID FACTOR...A must read for every lady

I just got a disturbing news from my neighborhood about a man who just got their house maid pregnant and this is why i decided to write this article for everyone to read but before i continue i will like to quote this scripture not to justify the act but to lay emphases on how strange it is:

"There are three things that are too amazing for me, four that I do not understand:The way of an eagle in the sky, The way of a serpent on a rock, The way of a ship in the middle of the sea, And the way of a man with a maid" Proverbs 30:18-19.

I get so surprised when a woman finds out that her hubby is making out with a maid and she uses words like "How could you? a COMMON MAID"

Now ladies open your eyes and widen your reasoning faculty and get this straight.

Men are visual,we think about sex way more than you do as women and we are very polygamous by nature meaning we naturally love to be with as many ladies as possible but if you find a man who is decent and disciplined then such a man is a rare breed.

The Nigerian mentality that your level in life is determined by how much money you make or your educational background is quite honestly annoying; every occupation should be accorded it's dignity, housemaids offer an essential service to the society and should be respected as such.

That stated, when a woman fails to realize that part of the seduction process involves the respect and care she offers her husband I.e in the little things she does, like making him food, paying attention to his attire, etc if she totally reneges on these duties and leaves it to the housemaid, she effectively sets up her husband to be seduced by the housemaid; besides, a housemaid is so awestruck by the attention she receives from the master of the house, she is willing to submit to a lot of things madam no longer deems necessary and if you're a man, you know there's nothing more flattering nor seductive than a willing woman....

In short, it is my opinion that when a man begins to cast a lustful glance at the housemaid,in most cases it's a symptom that madam is neglecting her duties somewhere.

Wait guys, i am not promoting randy lifestyle or justifying the shameless act of sleeping with a maid not because SHE IS A MAID but how can you have your wife in the same house and yet sleeping with a maid? This is arrant nonsense i must say

But then to the women, please if you must get a house maid, do not go for the type with conspicous sexual body features.

Lets leave hypocrisy, if my wife brings home a maid that has sweet curves, i will call her to order and ask her to send the maid back. Prevention is better than fighting temptation.

A maid is human, a maid was born the same way you were born, a maid has the same feminine sexual features just as you have and even usually younger,Stop employing matured maids if you have a man at home to prevent unpleasant situation.

If you like ,start saying you trust your husband, he can not do this or that but by the time it happens, don't say i have not warned you.

Be wise

WebmastersRe: Learn Bulk SMS Business Here On Nairaland by bosunjohns(m): 11:10pm On Aug 11, 2015
Seems you do not offer online payments on your website. Why?
CreativeWeb:
Before we proceed, I want to point out two things you need to know.

1. Free sms.
You are free to configure your portal to give free sms units to new registered users. However, I want to tell you that serious users are not after the free sms. It's only the secondary school guys that want to show to their friends that they can receive sms with a custom sender id from them. And so, they register with about three emails to use your free sms units. On our portal, we dont give free sms units to new members. And people never complained. Most of our sms users register and buy sms immediately to start sending their serious sms campaign. They are not out for childish playing around. I remember telling a very big church that i will give them 500 sms units to test the platform, the pastor asked me 'for what? What is 500 sms units?' They went ahead to transfer 180,000 Naira to our firstbank account for 100,000 sms units.

2. Your Pricing.
Your pricing matters. There are some novice in this business that charge rediculous cheap prices in order to get customers. It doesnt work. Serious users dont usually look at your pricing model. There was a time we were selling at #1.60kobo per sms. Then to #1.70kobo and finally to #1.80kobo. Till today, our clients never complained. We reviewed our pricing model of course because of the Dollar to Naira hick. One Bishop even said to us, 'I hope your sms is #4 because we are not ready to pay more than #4.' I told him that we sell sms at #1.80kobo and he was shocked. So, make your pricing moderate. Not too costly and not too cheap. Again, configure your portal send sms at 1 unit. Clients hate it when they wil have to do unnecessary calculations. They want 1000 sms units to send sms to 1000 gsm numbers as long as the sms is 1 page. Instead of making your unit for 80kobo and then make 1 sms to deduct 2 units, which in essence, you are selling at 1.60kobo. Why not just spell it out that you sell sms at 1.60kobo and 1 unit is equals to 1 sms?

Stay tuned...

luigiajah:
Plagiarism is a very serious crime. How would someone spend time typing a valuable post then someone else will just steal the post without linking back

to the source .
In Nigeria most bloggers are experts at this that's why most Nigerian blogs are disapproved from adsense . Personally ,i hate when someone steals my content especially if it's a higher blog, it hurts. It makes you feel like
they're making your efforts worthless and you are just working for them.

I decided to share this post because of those that like copying and pasting other people's content. I can say that all the post on my blog were written by me
and nobody else. I was annoyed when a certain blogger on a forum nairaland.com asked me whether there's an award for writing your posts yourself. I agree there is no award for it
but when google and dmca comes for your blog you'll regret copying someone else's content.

In the U.S and some other countries, plagiarism could get you arrested . In Nigeria it just seems like nobody cares if you copy their content because the law enforcement agency won't do anything.

Now If you are a blogger and you find out that someone is copying your content here is what to do. If you keep copying people's content n the blogosphere, you don't deserve
to be respected.

if you don't know how to check if someone is stealing your posts just use copyscape.com or choose 28 words from the middle of any of
your posts then google it.
If someone steals your post , make a comment on the post asking him to link back to your blog or delete the post . If the person refuses
or thinks you're joking just follow these steps.

BusinessRe: Your Dormant Bank Account Could Put You In Trouble by bosunjohns(m): 11:51am On Aug 05, 2015
Tokotaya:
If you have a dormant bank account in Nigeria, you could be on CBN’s debtors’ list. Let me recast that, if you have a dormant account in Ecobank, you may already be a debtor, without knowing it. Your name may have been listed as having bad credit on the Credit Risk Management Bureau (CRMB)’s database with CBN. It’s not a demarketing attempt. It is purely my experience that others can learn from.

I had a current account in Ecobank around 2011. My ex-employer moved our salaries there based on a nice presentation made by the Branch Manager of the Bank at the time. However, the promises made were not met, so the salary account was moved elsewhere and we all thought it ended there.

More than three years later, I had left the company and was processing a loan with another bank. Near the completion of the deal, they called to tell me I was owing Ecobank. I was advised to sort it out with them before any progress could be made. I didn’t take any loan. The account didn’t have an overdraft facility. It was a basic current account from which you could never withdraw above your available balance at any point in time. How could I owe on the account?

I called their customer care and the lady insisted I must have taken a loan. I insisted I did not, and tried to convince her to look into the account to see what could have happened. She rudely cut the call!

I made a series of other calls and was linked to their Oke Afa, Isolo Branch where the account resided and was able to establish that it was my dormant account there that ran into negative. Ecobank made some routine charges on the account and when they depleted what was there, they made negative deduction of N119 and the negative started accumulating interest that had amounted to about N2,500 by late last year when I applied for a loan.

What manner of a bank would make deductions from a dormant account? I went to the bank and confronted them. An official explained that an account going dormant does not mean that charges could not be made on it. He said a man can be sleeping, but his bodily functions work nonetheless.

I paid off the money and obtained a letter of Non-indebtedness and took it to my new bank before they could process my loan. The great worry: what if I had not applied for a loan at another bank? How would I have known? Many decades later, may be as a pensioner, one may now apply for something and they will tell you there’s a debt of a couple of millions of naira you need to clear.

I’ve commenced the process of closing the account with Ecobank. Other dormant accounts I have are going too, even though some of the other banks are arguing that their own processes are different from Ecobank’s. They argue that typically, your dormant account holds the last balance there till you reactivate it. One said if at all any customer’s account goes into red, his bank had a standard procedure to call up the customer by phone to alert him. No one called me from Ecobank.

How much was N119 that Ecobank would go ahead to list me as having a non-performing loan instead of calling me to clear it. The totality of my experience with Ecobank has been horrible to say the least. To even collect the Letter of Non-Indebtedness was a war. It took nearly 3 weeks of constant harassment to get it ready and on the day I was to pick it up, I spent three and a half hours in their banking hall.
So folks, check up on all your current dormant accounts, especially those with Ecobank.
RomanceRe: Ten Truths Most Singles Don't Want To Hear. by bosunjohns(m): 11:46am On Aug 05, 2015
emusmith:
Ten Truths Most Singles Don't Want To Hear

There wide spread of ignorance today among younger folks and this is partly due to recent development in social networking. They grow up oblivious of certain inestimable facts needed for a fabulous experience in marriage.

Let me tell you: It's not because you're too fat or too slim that's why he left or haven't even come around. Most of the times, we aren't really, truly ready and ripe for marriage. In that situation, some things most singles don't wanna hear are;

1. You're getting old and your freshness fading; start preparing to really be a husband/ wife. All these walking around tying wrapper over your upper region, e- begging of card and money on the internet as if the guys are owing you, Quit it already. Forget picmix, it too shall pass.

2. Without Superb culinary skills, your hubby might be enticed by an "Ekaete". Never underestimate the power of a delicious, well-served afang soup. It's like venison to the soul!

3. Beauty is never enough, Bum & Boobs are gonna get rough. Character will stay tough. Character is seen in two: Patience and Love. 21st century singles need to understand this.

4. The habits you don't subdue as a single has 70% chance showing up in your marriage. Haha! The difference between the Married guy and the Single guy, most times, it's just the ring. The ring is not like "Lord of the Ring" that has inbuilt power. An average man hides his ring to get fresh "interns"

5. Leave your father's house. Are we in the old testament? (males only)
You're 30 and still in daddy's house, please find a way out. Be a man and taste the feeling "living alone" brings. Staying alone teaches you something. Hmm!

6. Ladies are ladies when they receive from their man- it will never change. The earlier you get it in your skull, the easier it will be. However, she might give for love but trust me, you'll pay back! 50% increase! cheesy

7. The Romantic part of your spouse will end between 6 - 18 months of your marriage. How ready are you to be flexible, diplomatic, forgiving and patient? Get ready to hear his snoring, perhaps like that of a cricket! Do you know she can fart? Hmm!

8. Why you're advised to ignore a man with television and pursue he with vision is because vision can get you more than a 100 television. Be smart!

9. If you get married just because she is good in bed or because he is a s*x machine; after having marathon of it, what else will you guys be doing together? So, marry one whose life and dreams interest you, in certain degree.
Have you met a guy/girl who is into what you love? As you discuss with him, there is a kinda connection. That connection is and should be the basis for choosing a life partner and NOT he has a big 'kini' or she is smoking hot!

10. The man is the Head (Isi) of the family- what that means is, he is the head. Don't fight it. (Even female lions know better, lol) Actually if you do, some may not notice, but others won't let you because it is just in- born, you know. I know ladies who are born control-freaks. It's okay as long as he is okay with it. BTW, the woman is a help to the man (feminists don't wanna hear this.). She won't feel complete until she has a man by her. Forget gays, they are awkward!

You may be guilty one way or another, that's why I opened the thread. Everyone needs to learn more.

CareerRe: Four Ways To Get The Best Of Your Salary. by bosunjohns(m): 3:24pm On Jul 31, 2015
CrazyMan:
After receiving your salary, it seems money always finds a way out of your wallet or purse, sometimes without consulting you. Your paycheck is hardly enough for expenses within the month not to talk about saving a portion for an investment or project.

With these few hacks, you should be able to keep a few bucks away and still make the very best of your remuneration.

1. Make a budget and stick to it.

Immediately you get notification of payment of your salary, take a few minutes to reflect deeply and write an explicit budget. Write down all expenses, essential and trivial, that you propose to make for that month. Don’t leave excess cash as miscellaneous, even if it is for recreation or outings, always try to tie something to your cash.

2. Reverse your thinking; Pay yourself first

Get this. After you get paid for performing various duties and responsibilities at work, you pay everybody else but yourself. Isn’t that just wrong? Your mechanic, food vendor and many other individuals get a slice of the cake while you get only the icing. Take out a certain percentage monthly (say 15%) and stash it in an account that you don’t access regularly. This will can become the spine for future investments or just extra cash for exigencies.

  3. Reduce your expenses

There are some unnecessary activities that you spend excessively on monthly. It is quite important to cut these short while also making the best of expedient purchases. This will include you trying to make the best bargains from your groceries, internet payment and other expenses. Do your research, ask friends where they shop and compare prices. You will be surprised at the great bargains you are currently missing out on.

4. Have a project or reason tied to your saving

When you save, have a particular project that you are saving towards. It might be investing in stocks, buying a car, getting a better apartment, starting a professional course or seed money for a small business. It’s your money so it’s your choice.

If you do not have a goal to your saving, there is huge tendency you will spend the lot on petty activities that you might later regret.

WebmastersRe: Goodnews Adsense Applicants, get Your Adsense Approved In Less Than 48 Hours 2015 by bosunjohns(m): 2:10pm On Jul 30, 2015
My AdSense account was banned long ago due to invalid clicks. How can I reapply?
ChuzzyBlog:
#ChuzzyBlog

Sure way to get google adsense approval in 2015. 99.9% guaranteed....

If you have been frustrated by google adsense replies to your adsense application, there is help coming your way right now if only you are willing to work it out.

After i was click-bombed and hacked on my wordpress blog, my adsense account with about $260 was disabled. I felt so horrible and wasn't sure if i wanted to continue as a blogger.

I searched for alternatives and none was as interesting as google adsense. i was determined to get my adsense approved again so i set into the internet to get some vital information. It took me about 3 months to arrive with this.

Follow me closely as i share...

1. I deleted all post i had on my new blog that had failed to get approval

2. I switched from Entertainment Niche to Medical and wrote 10 "Unique" contents (let me take a second to explain what i mean by unique. I am no expert in the medical world, i don't even know a thing there. this is how i made my content unique:

a) I searched for 10 invaluable medical posts which i will not disclose to you cos i won't be helping you if i do that.

b) Each of these posts had over 500 words.

c) I rephrased every single sentence and substituted almost all the keywords with similar words.

d) I made my own custom image using photoshop and corel draw) I believe that looks like a "Unique" content, isn't it? sure it is.

3. After that, i kept sharing my posts everywhere possible for 2 days.

4. Added contact and privacy policy pages on my blog.

5. I reapplied for adSense and in less than 48hours i was back to business.

With these steps am sure you will get the approval asap. Goodluck!

Share with your friends and do not copy and paste on your blog!! smiley

CareerRe: A Friend Lost His Job: How To Future-proof Your Career! by bosunjohns(m): 10:20am On Jul 28, 2015
dearpreye:
This article is about us developing skills for our today as well as for tomorrow. Our tomorrow is very important to us, and its almost here. Time flies like mad; it has never waited for anyone. It keeps ticking away.

Given the present economic challenges all over the word and particularly here in Nigeria, losing one's job is one of the most challenging thing anyone can experience. Its capable of leading to economic difficulty, especially if the victim wasn't prepared for such an event, and could lead to depression and other issues. A friend called me about two months ago and told me how he had lost his job. Its not being easy for himself and his family. Its just advisable that the gainfully employed must be prepared for such eventualities. I tried to put myself in his shoes and it wasn't funny a though at all. We can learn from the challenges and experiences of others. This event led me to critical thought about the future. Its the ideas from that process of thought I'm sharing here. And majority of the article was culled from: http://www.mindtools.com/pages/article/newCDV_81.htm

How will your job be different five years from now? Will your job exist in its present form in five years? In 10 or even 20 years? And over this time, what will happen to the company and industry you work for? We really don't know what the future holds. What we do know for certain is that change is a constant in the workplace. This means that what we are doing NOW will be different in the future.

How can we predict and prepare for this workplace of the future? What should you be doing now to make sure you don't find yourself facing a dead end in your career, with no opportunity to change direction without crashing?

Get and remain tech-savvy

Much of the change we see has to do with new technology. We keep finding faster and leaner ways to do things. Force yourself to keep your technical skills current, even if new developments don't seem to be related to your current job. Otherwise, you'll get left behind and may have to catch up a huge amount before you can get off in a new direction in the future. If you're in a highly technical field of work, be proactive and stay current-even when your company doesn't.

Develop your competences, skills and experience

Along with technical skills, it is critically important to continue your professional development to remain in demand in the workplace. You need to develop the transferable skills that are universally sought by employers. Leadership, communication, innovation, stress management and interpersonal skills are all fundamental requirements of the jobs of today and tomorrow. Majority of these skills can be learned online. Free. Here are some ways to do this:
* Choose two competencies or skills to improve each year. Monitor and track your progress.
* Develop a five year learning plan to acquire the knowledge and education you need.

The HSE profession is a very dynamic and challenging one. Hitherto this period, it was relegated and limited to identifying hazardous conditions and mitigating their possible outcomes. Now, its gone far beyond that. We now study human behavior, emotional intelligence, statistics, history, environmental modeling and quality management systems. I had to learn all these on my one. And for the past 3 years, I've not failed to ensure I take at least one HSE certification. I must be prepared for the future. The only way to guarantee the future is to invent it.

You've Got to have more than ONE skill

For economic safety of the future, you must have more than one skill. Beyond a certain stage in your career and in uncertain environments, specialization is no longer the route of choice. It can pay off for some; however, it has a very high risk of obsolescence attached to it. Its very risky. Your specific technical skills may get out of date. That's why you see nurses with business skills and technology experts with financial experience. A broad range of competencies, skills and abilities can help you secure a new job or may even open the door to working in a new industry. Aside from being a HSE professional, I can teach music theory alongside the piano( though I'm still maturing). I'm also seriously working towards becoming a motivational speaker. I just need to learn all I can.

Think globally

In many industries, geographical barriers to business are getting less and less relevant. Your co-workers, clients and stakeholders now and in the future can be from anywhere in the world. You need to acquire the ability to work within the international marketplace by:
• Learning about working with diverse cultures.
•Asking for assignments that require international exposure.
•Learning another language.

The more experience you get, the more confidence you will have when working in the global marketplace. This will make you much more attractive to employers of the future. I recall running a safety pep talk. We had a French worker amongst us, who spoke scanty English. It wasn't easy at all. Luckily for us, we had a Nigerian who could speak French fluently. He became the interpreter. The two workers later became very close friends.

Create and maintain a success journal

The time to start thinking about your accomplishments and skills is not when you are looking for a new job. You have to be proactive and take continuous inventory of what you do really well, the accolades you have been given and the noteworthy results you've been responsible for. Employers want to know what you will do for them. When you have a ready list of things you have done, it is much easier to recall your most relevant rewards and skills.
•Track your duties, projects and results.
•Keep a list of professional development activities you've participated in.
•List the training you've completed.
•Note your volunteer work.
•File your performance reviews and the written letters and emails you receive that note your performance.

Build and maintain a professional network

You should be developing relationships with people both within and outside your organization. These people will be invaluable as the landscape of work changes. They can bring you along with them as they weather the changes and can provide opportunities when your current position looks a bit uncertain. When you add a mentor or two to your network, you have the added bonus of learning new skills, technologies and strategies that will help you move your career in the direction you want.
•Collect business cards.
•Keep track of former bosses and colleagues.
•Join professional networking associations.
•Participate in a wide range of activities and build relationships beyond your current career or industry.

Nairaland means different things to different people. Away from the normal political section gists, I've been able to build a vey formidable network of political and career friends. Your networth is equal to your network. Take advantage of the vision of Seun in giving us this platform. Build your friends. Scan the right ones that will make your life more meaningful.

Scan the environment

Be aware of changes and trends in the economy, your profession and the industry you are in. No one can accurately predict the future; however, stay ahead of the crowd by keeping yourself informed and choosing to work in industries and for employers that have long-term sustainability.

Keep a clear career path open

You may be fortunate enough to be in an organization where there's a clear and attractive career path ahead of you. For many, this will not be the case.

This may not be a problem if you're in a fast growth industry – if you're good at what you do, opportunities will most-likely appear with alarming regularity. However if you're in a slow growth industry or are one in decline, then this is a problem: There may be no onward path, and development may be blocked, however hard you work. This will lead to frustration, boredom and, in the long term, failure to achieve your potential.

This is where you need to review your options and take action to unblock your career, even if it means a job- or career-change.

Develop resilience

Because the future is uncertain, you will probably encounter setbacks no matter how much you prepare and plan. People who will emerge successful are those with the ability to bounce back and consider such setbacks as learning experiences.
•Evaluate and affirm your strengths on a regular basis.
•Develop realistic and achievable goals, monitor your progress and identify what is holding you back.
•Build your flexibility and maintain your enthusiasm despite what is happening around you.

All of these techniques can be very useful as you begin to plan and prepare for your future career(s). And they all have in common the elements of risk management and career planning. You need to become good at both to secure your future career.

If we must secure our career, we must plan TODAY. While we do not pray that people lose their jobs, we encourage them to be prepared for the worst. These sad events happen. We must be proactive with our lives. And for those who are believing God and working hard to get a job, I wish you all the best.

First and foremost what is Constipation?

As the body digests the food we eat, nutrients and water absorbed through the body’s digestive process. The leftover solid waste becomes stool, usually referred to as sh*t or poo. Then, muscle contractions in the intestines push the stool through the colon, before exiting the body out of the rectum.

Typically, stool should move easily and naturally through and out of the body.

Basically constipation simply means when you find it hard to pass out very hard Stools {poo}

Most times when you force the stools out, you end up having anal fissure (tear in the anus)

FOR FAST RELIEVE OF CONSTIPATION

Take 1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 teaspoon of lemon juice (optional)

In the morning consume one tablespoon of olive oil. It works best on an empty stomach, so have it before you eat anything else. If you forget, wait until later when you haven’t eaten for a while. You can mix it with a little bit of lemon juice if you like to lighten the flavor (lemon juice also acts as a natural aid for constipation.)

Fresh lemon also works.
Directions
Squeeze the juice of one lemon into a cup of warm water.
Drink or sip until finished completely.

Eat lots of Fibre meal
Example
-Beans
-Apricots
-Whole grain bread
-Berries
-Broccoli
-Plums, pears, and apples

CareerRe: Should I Quit My Job Now And Get Over N8m Payoff? by bosunjohns(m): 6:03pm On Jul 25, 2015
sigmundfreud:
A man and his wife owned a very special goose. Every day the goose would lay a golden egg, which made the couple very rich.

"Just think," said the man's wife, "If we could have all the golden eggs that are inside the goose, we could be richer much faster."

"You're right," said her husband, "We wouldn't have to wait for the goose to lay her egg every day."

So, the couple killed the goose and cut her open, only to find that she was just like every other goose. She had no golden eggs inside of her at all, and they had no more golden eggs.

That's all.
CrimeRe: How My Laptop And Phone Were Stolen In My Apartment Today by bosunjohns(m): 10:41pm On Jul 24, 2015
whizqueen:
Hi everyone,

I left my house around past 11am to get some stuffs at a distance from my house. I spent about an hour outdoor, only for me to return and find my laptop missing. I asked my little sister whom I left alone at home who came around and she said 'a lady' with some descriptions came around to ask for my mom saying she wanted to give her some money and my sister said she was not at home.
The 'lady' came inside, sat down and counted some money and handed it over to my sister to give to my mom. The little girl kept the money somewhere in the sitting room and the woman said she should take it inside to avoid it been stolen, my sister went inside my mom's room to keep the money. While she was away the lady with the intention to steal sighted my laptop on the couch where I kept it and my other phone, she picked both and kept them in her bag. When my sister returned, she asked my sister to go and get the money back that she would come back in the evening when mumsy is back and my sister did. She left the house with my phone and laptop without my sister's knowledge.

After listening to the narration from my sister, I called my phone and it was answered by an unknown person she kept mute while I was talking. I called back severally and it wasn't answered. After about 30 minutes, I got a call from the police station(on the number I called with earlier) saying a laptop and phone was recovered from an unknown thief that I should report at the police station ASAP.

When I got there, I met one woman whose house was also robbed by the lady. She was caught and beaten severely by the neighbors and outsiders. The house owner (woman) claimed N30,000 was stolen which wasn't found on the thief but rather my phone and laptop, the main reason she was brought to the police station was because of the money that wasn't found on her not because of my property but I was lucky that my items have not been sold out by the thief. I was able to get my laptop today after the necessary procedures and was asked to come back on Monday for my phone.

My reason for bringing this story here is that, I want to advice everyone ''talk to you little ones at home be it sister, brother, children, etc. Especially now that they are all on long holiday that they should never allow any one inside the house if an elderly person isn't around, the thief might ask of mom or dad or big sister or anyone just tell your kids to tell them at the doorstep 'mom isn't around come back later' they shouldn't be welcomed inside the home not even for one second. I was only lucky to recover my item that was stolen'

The lady even confessed that sometimes she checks NEPA bills that is hung in the house to know a name to mention. Imagine that. Please be guided and caution your kids.

May God not make our things be that of a thief.

SimpleJetty:
This question is solely meant to test your level of integrity. Your answer should be, having meticulously gone through the core values of the organisation which no doubt was in tune with my values as a being, I believe telling lies would be detrimental to the well-being of this organisation and negates the core values of the organisation. So therefore, if faced with such dire situation, my response will be toll the part of honesty, transparency and accountability which I strongly believe will in the long run favour the organisation.
