Strange! I use Lloyds and when I ask them to stamp, I tell them on each page and they politely accept ☺️ Aphrodite007: Hi.
I’m not sure UK banks stamp on every page. They are credible enough. So all he has to do is print the statement and send it off to Sheffield alongside the other docs. My bank is Barclays and they even had a self service till for statements, when I asked them to stamp on it in time, they politely declined. |

I would advise you post rather than scan. You can print it out from your online account, take it to your bank and ask them to stamp each page. This is what I usually do. My bank usually takes 2-3 working days to send a letter headed if I order online. So basically depends on who you bank with and how they operate You can scan other requirements. Both if you posting bank statements, you can as well post them along ☺️ Guccigucci: Yes it is for tier 4 dependant visa Are u saying that if I get the bank statements with the banks letterhead I can scan it to her. Can I ask the bank to print it in the "adhoc" letterhead statement (actually i dont kno wat "ad hoc" means though) Thank you But the other requirements I can scan them to her right? |

Aphrodite007: Oh hi, deep apologies, I might have missed the question.
if this is for a visit visa Sending it via post to her would make it more authentic. (This is me assuming that you’re in the UK and she is in Nigeria. If you are in Nigeria, you don’t need to send that to her for a visit visa, it will be scanned at the Visa Office).
If, however, this is for a spouse visa, no dear. Please keep your statement and all other documents that are from you. She is the one that’s meant to send everything she has to you (by post), then you will attach the remaining documents to hers and send all to Sheffield, ok?
This is the thread for spouse visa, I advise you to start reading from page 320 or 330 so that you are well informed before you start asking questions.
I hope this helps. That you be for partners who are settled in the uk. I think his own question refers to tier 4 dependants |

According to the guidance, it will not be accepted. It's better you get it stamped on each page at the bank and post it if you are not using the Ad hoc bank statements printed on the bank’s letterhead. Guccigucci: @Aphrodite007 Pls I asked a question earlier but got no response Please I want to know if I can scan my UK bank statement /sponsorship letter to my wife or I should send them by post to her in nigeria I had scanned and sent all the documents needed from my side before but I jst want to double check if it's ok or does the embassy need the original bank statement?
Pls based on your experience or other ppl experiences can u advise me pls Thank you |

mekaprime: The foreigner 3/10... Jackie chan is undoubtedly one of my best actors but I think old age has taken its toll on him. The movie simply lacked the Jackie chan vigour. I think he should just retire. I watched a couple of days ago and I felt it was unlike Jackie really. His movies are always lively, fun, full of excitement but foreigner was a shadow of himself. |

You should be present legally in the country or territory you’re applying from. If you can get a residential permit in the ECOWAS country you are currently in, it will make life easier for you. Teegirl101: Hi Justwise, thanks for your help in the past, Please would it be advisable to apply for a tier 4 visa from any ECOWAS country as a Nigerian (I work off shore). I am going for my masters (sept intake) (just completed my BA last year and left the UK). Your prompt response would be much appreciated. Thanks |

You are exempted as you’ve been away for less than 6 months. Clearly state this in additional info as some ECOs don't know the rules. narpheesarh: Hello justwise and other gurus in the house. I recently completed my masters in the UK and got back to Nigeria January 13 2017, although my current visa expires March 3rd. I got another admission for PhD and instead of travelling back to the UK to extend my current visa, I want to reapply from Nigeria. Do I still need to do a TB test since I haven't even spent up to a month outside the UK. Thank you all. |

He is right. You don't really have to change your passport to make an application. Marriage Cert and proof that your relationship is genuine and subsisting is required. figel: Hi house, i just got married and I want to apply for as a dependent with my hubby who is a phd student. My passport is still valid for 4 years. Do i need to do a change of name and apply for a new passport. All my docs, even the tb test certificate is in my maiden name. My hubby says its not important as the marriage certificate shows that we are legally married. I will like to find out if I am good to go. thank you |

"The monthly living costs that you will need to show will depend on where you will be studying in the UK. You must show that you have: £1,265 per month for a maximum of 9 months for living costs if you are studying in London for the majority of your study (more than 50% of your study time); £1,015 per month for a maximum of 9 months for living costs if you are studying outside London or anywhere else in the UK for the majority of your study (more than 50% of your study time)." ginika08: Good, but how much do I need to show my maintenance cost? |
