How did you enter gbese? I always go to car giant but I don’t do car finance with any dealer, I save my money then I buy a good car and my rest of mind. You are better off taking a bank loan than going for car finance. I’ve been using them since 2000 and I will happily use them again, reasons being I not comfortable buying cars from individuals especially those based in London and I don’t have the strength and whahala to go out of London to be picking up car.

Let's say I have this curve card, and I use it to by a 75'' TV which goes bad after a few weeks. I will get a statutory refund if I used a normal credit card due to section 75 protection, the use of curve card means anyone who makes a purchase with it loses this vital protection. Plus, if you look online, you will see a lot of bad reviews about this card.

There seems to be a lot of dodgy cards being peddled on here recently.

Hi, if you go through the thread, you will see a detailed list by phardey and newbie, I used exactly the documents they posted on the thread, didn’t even add anything extra and I got my visa within 4 weeks. I will advice you go through it. And you can get same day decision, it’s about 600 pounds and [b]you need to book your appointment at least 45 days [/b]to the date you intend to submit your documents because they gets filled up quickly. All the best!!!

That is a lot! This so called smart meter is one big con. For those of you who have not converted please don’t. There’s no law that says you should and there is a lot of controversy surrounding these meters, that’s why anytime I receive a call to change my meter, I ask them is it a government regulation and when they say no, I say thank you, good bye.

I suggest you take up your high gas cost with your provider.

I'm trying to avoid having a non straightforward application.
I'm thinking of transferring the funds to my other bank account that has my Lagos address or inform the school to change my address to the one my new ba no account. What do you think?

My waec certificate carries a middle name which I really don't use as all other certificates carry just my first name and last name. Hope this can't bring up any issues?

Secondly, the address on my new account which contains my tuition fees and maintenance is different from the address in my school application and possibly on my visa application when the time comes. I just moved to ibadan from Lagos temporarily. Will this have any effect on visa issuance?

I'm just trying to have a smooth application without setbacks.... don't wanna make mistakes

Steps on requesting a refund on IHS Surcharge

When we applied in 2017 for a 1year visa, the dependants were charged for 3years IHS and for some reasons, I always thought UKVI would do checks and balance when renewing after and then process the refund automatically from there.

One has to call or email to first lodge the complaints and get a series of questions you need to provide answers to. My advise is to email them from the get go as calling is way more expensive and still doesn't solve your issue.

I spent over £20 listening to the list of questions I need to be able to answer over the phone, so subsequently I sent them an email (£5.49) which covered any further correspondent from thereon. Below is a list of questions that is usually requested so hope this would help others jumpstart the processes faster.

It took a little over 3 weeks once the email was sent and money was paid back into the originating card used. I was quite surprised it came out that fast based on bad reviews online.

My advise is if you are just applying for UK visa please use your own personal card or someone close to you incase you would be seeking for any sort of refund. Thank God I didnt use the agent I almost went with then because of bad naira

i passed on the first try, thank God, in one of the areas with the highest failure rate in the UK. About five minutes into the test, i made a mistake and i thought that was it, i just told myself calm down and finish, dont put yourself under pressure. At the end of the test, two or three mistakes later, i passed. nearly hugged and kissed the assessore and my instructor.

Dont be in a hurry and dont try to impress the assessor. Anytime i was given an instruction, i repeated it to the assessor to make sure i got the correct instruction and God answered my prayer that i should not be asked to parrallel park or reverse around the corner, those were my weakest points. keep two hands on the steering, always look into your mirrors before any manouver - very important- and make it obvious by moving your neck not just your eyes.

All the best with your tests. My motivation to get it right the first time was the cost of practice and the cost of the test.

I need the help or suggestions of the house. My wife has the spouse visa which is to expire towards the last quarter of this year. She works in Nigeria, and because of her work, she has refused to join me in the UK. This has been our issue. She's been visiting the UK and the longest she's stayed in the UK is 4months other times are three weeks, a month, sometimes two weeks. we had our child delivered in the UK, and one on the way. I believe the fear of uncertainty and not been able to get her kinda of job in the UK may be her fears of not wanting to relocate to the UK. Also she seem not to know what she wants as she still wants to renew her spouse visa despite not wanting to live in the UK. As in wanting to eat her cake and have it. Now that we are expecting an addition, I have told her that she may likely have to give birth in Nigeria. She said she wants to deliver in UK. which I may object. From my calculation she may be due to deliver nearer her visa expiration date.
I would like to know if her absence in the UK will affect her visa extension? I am aware that one has to live in the UK for a minimum of 181 days in a year. I don't know if the is application to the spouse visa extension or during the ILR. I do not want to waste my time efforts and money if her absence will affect her visa extension. I know what I went through during the initial stage while she did nothing hence she is not appreciating what she's got. Any advise will be appreciated.

So After 2 fails I’ve sha finally passed my Practical Driving Test. Grateful to God.

Decided to post incase someone is failing and feeling bad, don’t! I felt very bad too initially, especially because the 2nd fail In particular was cause of a very silly reason IMO... But the experience has sha made me a better driver. So incase you’re here and seeing stories of people passing the 1st time and wondering why your case is different , don’t worry; You’re not alone and you will definitely still pass.

between jan 2018 - june 2018, my income was between £1422.60 -£1620.71 (£22128 gross annualy)6 months

salary increased to £23023 in july gross
july 2018- october 18 (earned between £1497.97 - 1619.55) 4 months

promotion in october nd started earning £28050/yr gross
took home between (£1954.07- £2169.09) nov18 to jan19 **3 months

Hubby will be applying alone and not with his children

do i still meet the minimum financial requirements??
And do i fall under Category A or B ?
(been with same employer over a year but my recent salary is just 3 months)

Please help, calculating here but confused

i know we are quite busy with our busy lifes and paying of bills here in the Uk pheww! (its really not too bad if you've got a good job).

Pls is it ok to use my UK Level 2 maths and English to apply for extension or do l still need to take the ietl speaking and learning test again like i did in Nigeria ?

Would be glad if someone can reply this would help me not expecting an immediate reply as i understand people are busy but will check from time to time for replies.
