Things like this happen because when people invest a lot of emotion and energy in making their relationships work without improving or working on themselves. When these relationships end, they find out that they are nobodies without the relationship or their partners.

Dude, this guy practically played the role of her husband by contributing to her education and mom's health and also played an active role during her dad's burial but never asked her to be his wife or even try impregnate her.
