A simple Google search should tell you that

It wasn't robbed of any awards.

All the time it lost out, a more deserving winner emerged.

Come to think of it, it got only like 18 Emmy nominations in all it's 6 years of airing.

To compare, Breaking Bad got like 12 nomination on average per season.

Like I keep stressing, The Americans is a top spy show. I rate it over Homeland, and I love Homeland dearly. But saying that it's better than Breaking Bad is laughable and reeks of fanboyism. It didn't achieve half of the things Breaking Bad achieved, nor 1/4 of pop cultural impact Breaking Bad had and is still having.

As for The Americans being one of greatest show of all time, it's probably true. It's probably between top 50-70 in them lists, but you best believe Breaking Bad is in the top 5 in the same lists.

Lastly, Reddit has multiple subreddits (too many to count), and no official aggregate system, so your claim that The Americans is rated higher on Reddit is nothing but bare face lie. It's tantamount to saying everyone in Nigeria speaks Hausa.

Whenever i see people recommend strike back for anything, i just wonder which one exactly.
Although on o2, they started from season 6, and im trying ma best to just complete the season.
The gun fight doesnt look mature, as if they are on ode e shin. If you need gun action series, strike back shouldnt be on the list (at least from season 6). Sealteam is dope

Strike Back ended in season 5, but after a few years, Cinemax resurrected it with a rubbish season 6.

I didn't bother to finish it.

Breaking bad improved with every season and peaked at season 5, while The Americans had an off season 5 and peaked at season 3, although season 6 was superb.

It was too inconsistent to be placed above the very consistent Breaking Bad.

My guess is you haven't watched Breaking Bad.

It's wiser to watch Breaking Bad first before delving into Better Call Saul to get acquainted with the background and characters.

Better Call Saul is a slow burn that has a more complex plot than it's sequel, Breaking Bad.

Whereas Breaking Bad is a wild ride from start to finish with narcotics the central principal, Better Call Saul is slow burning and multifaceted in the sense that there are multiple themes driving the story; It's a legal themed drama, a narcotics themed drama, and a crime drama rolled into one.

It has a lot in common with Sneaky Pete, it was a lot in common with Damages, it has a lot in common with Narcos, it has a lot in common with Bosch. It's a very multilayered tv show.

You fvcked up by deleting one of the best tv shows on the planet bro.

Better Call Saul season 5;

Gus Frings is imho the baddest villain in TV history.

James Cameroon took it back to the level it was at Terminator 3, really enjoyed watching it. Bringing Sarah Conor back added more flavour to it.

James Cameron wasn't involved. They used his name on the letterhead for commercial reasons.

An advice; never judge tv shows by their trailers. Trailers are usually very misleading.
