orogodoganyin:Read this; https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taiwanese_people |
HTC is taiwainese, but Taiwanese is a chinese sub group, so HTC is technically a chinese phone by proxy! |
OluToye:am assuming you meant migrating to one network to another without loosing your sim number right? well it depends on the service provider you're porting to. there is no real time limit here. |
12 months. |
ozoneprince:16k for this crap? you were kidding right? Cos I don't think I can buy this for N850. |
donhils:Little wonder what?? |
EFCC1:Then it's time to flash another stock rom. What were you doing to trigger the problem in the first place? |
opestein: funny analogy but made a lot of sense nonetheless. thumbs up bro. |
donhils:Not anymore. it was an issue on S4, yes but Samsung had since addressed and fixed it. My S5 touchwiz is full of bloatwares but they don't in any way impede the general UI integretion. cruising from app to app to settings and sub settings has never been smoother. the multi-window feature works great. You should know that the powerful gpu adreno 330 played a huge part in this. Put those misconceptions out of your mind because touchwiz lagging issues are now a thing of the past. To answer your first question, I was using a Gionee P4. Quite an upgrade, heh? |
noble4d:Anambra. |
Since those criminals on Jumia sold me a defective PS3 last year, I cease to shop with then. Konga too. I prefer to buy my stuff in person nowadays, that way I can limit the chances of getting conned to 5% on the scale of 100. |
donhils:I no fit laff. If you truly understand the power of a snapdragon 801 chipset then you wouldn't have dropped that statement in bracket. phones with this superlative high end 32 bit chipset don't lag overtime ever. and most importantly they were designed to go the distant unlike the archaic snapdragon S4 pro powering your even more archaic phone. am pretty sure your phone wouldn't be able to run a mundane HD game like San Andreas without hanging. LG is dying bro, they have already recorded significant losses this year. do yourself a solid and join the moving train. Hate them love them but there isn't anydoubt that Samsung rules the android world. |
noble4d:first of all download Tar file and Odin, and make sure that your mobile model number, name, platform and build ID etc as on the downloaded file. first step: power off your phone then hold volume down button, home button, and power button simultaneously until a warning screen appears. 2nd step: click volume up button then connect the usb from your S3 to your pc. 3rd step: after unzipping the downloaded file, open Odin.exe file. 4th step: if you see a yellow box, then you're on track, if you don't then you should download and install S3 driver to your pc. 5th step: click PDA and find the Tar files. 6th step: click start button, after some seconds, Green box should show 'pass' then your phone will reboot. Final step After reboot unplug usb cable then install SuperUs from playstore. that's it. |
EFCC1:Hmmm... well try this: >Settings>NetworkConnection>Mobile Networks>Network Operators You will see available networks present. what i need you to do is select yourservice provider. if your problem persist after that then restore your phone to factory settings, and if that still didn't fix the problem, then it's time to flash another stock rom. |
noble4d:Yes. |
noble4d:choose aragorn then. if it didn't work, then look for another more current framaroot link online. the link I posted maybe an outdated version. |
noble4d:Where? |
maxdozie:What?? When it comes to battery backup, S5 is the clear leader (I should know, I use S5), followed closely by Z2. G3's battery suck no thanks to the power guzzling quad HD LCD based screen it comes with. |
iceberryose:Yes. |
noble4d:Rooting S3 running Jellybean is very easy. first of all download framaroot from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2784451&d=1402084843 then install the framaroot app on your phone, open the app after the installation and select 'install Superuser', select any exploits that shows in the app, and wait. when the app finally shows “Success Superuser and su binary installed" reboot and enjoy your newly rooted phone. |
EFCC1:If you input the code correctly it will take you directly to phone information. the best way of fixing your problem is by power cycling (switching your phone off and on over and over to at least 6 times) but first dial this code *#06# to make sure your phone's imei is still there. |
donhils:Throw your G pro into the nearest river and go get yourself a more reliable brand. |
EFCC1:There is one simple method that can fix this issue. simply dial *#*#4636#*#*, then navigate to 'device/phone information', click on 'run ping test', after the ping test is performed, then click on 'turn off radio', click on 'turn on SMS over IMS, finally reboot. |
abumeinben:How do you determine the ones that should take priorities? |
Just the other day, my brother and I got into a heated debate about the chipsets powering our respective devices, mine is Quadcore Snapdragon 801 chipset powering my Samsung Galaxy S5 and his, Octacore Snapdragon 615 powering his Samsung Galaxy A7. His argument is as follows; snapdragon 615 has more core and so should be faster and better. but I don't think it works like that. Guys what do you think? Quad core Snapdragon 801 and Octacore Snapdragon 615, which chipset is superior |
The Coliuto and bandana tying Carboni era. |
donhils:The beautiful thing about S5 is that you can always swap the battery (flat or otherwise) with a new one period. so that's not a real problem or issue. LG does have a problem with updates, especially when it comes to their G pro series. I don't know much about the G series however. Calling any updates whether minor or major irrelevant is tantamount to shiiting on the whole OTA business. updates are there to help you, by fixing bugs and generally improving UI integration. In this instance Samsung is king. Hideous?? who cares really? What matters is what is within. S5 packs a wallop. |
donhils:Lemme educate you on why S5 continues to lead the way when it comes to consumer satisfaction. First: the power saving mode: Even though S5 has certain power saving advantages that comes with using Super amoled display, Samsung still manage to take it to the next level by introducing greyscale where the user can squeeze out plenty of performance from a battery that would have expired in another device at 10-5%. the amazing thing about greyscale is that it can prolong the battery life exponentially for as long as 7-8 hours, by termination of background apps and greying of the display. in this mode, you can still browse and download, make calls and chat online. Fingerprint scanner: With this ingenious feature the user can have a complete and utter control to their phone contents like video, email, music and picture. Security has never been more secure indeed. Super Amoled Display: this technology developed and perfected by Samsung prolong the battery life of your device and at the same time gives you a vivid and sharp display that is so dense that sometimes you get the feeling that the image would jump at you any second. 421 PPI no be beans oh. Availability of screen modes: The amazing thing about S5 is that it gives you advance controls to adjust the display on your smartphone. Most smartphone manufacturers don't give users the option to make adjustments to the screen quality of their devices. While you can change things like brightness there are no controls for altering the display's color and contrast. Samsung Galaxy S5 isn't like most phones however. you are given 4 screen display type to choose from: Adapt Display (default), Dynamic and Standard, professional photo and Cinema mode (my favorite). Removable battery: You can always buy a spare battery or change the old one with a newly bought twin, anytime you want. Flexibility really rocks. Water resistant capability: Your S5 can fall into a bucket of water or get drenched by a torrential rain. no shaking, nothing dey happen. ![]() Fitness features: You can monitor your heartbeat, take your pulse and check your weight with the S5. Very Portable: Samsung Galaxy S5 is neither very big nor small. it's size is just perfect for the user to easily snug it into the confines of his pant's pocket. one can also operate it with only one hand Continuity: A lot of phone manufacturers make phones that ain't easily upgradable, for example LG. but S5 is designed to operate operation systems that haven't come out yet. when M rolls out eventually, be certain S5 will be one of the first to run it. Durability: Built to last. Don't hate, just accept the fact that S5 ain't going nowhere anytime soon. Bratking out! |
Mustiboy:Eyah. That's what happens when one doesn't really appreciate or know the value of what he or she owned. assuming that he bought the phone with his hard earned cash, nothing would have made him to ever forget his phone in a bus. nothing. |
donhils:One doesn't really need coloured screen to browse, do they? Stop the hating sir you are too old for this na. |
Mustiboy:Well, all he has to do is buy a new battery and he will enjoy the full benefit of using a real SMART high-end phone. |
