Not really but yeah I imagine it should be costly but whenever a phones battery starts to discharge when plugged then most certainly the panel is faulty and will ultimately burn overtime.

It's more than that. change the panel and you don't have to worry about charging problem for a while. change only the port and your problem will persist.

Then it's just your basic minor bugs currently plaguing the lollipop OS and can be fixed. unfortunately there is no guarantee fix, you will have to employ trial and error to see what works and what doesn't.

Hello house, a friend of mine needs an android phone with good specs but not too expensive. He needs it majorly for browsing(he uses a phone like he's using a lappy) and snapping...so we are looking for a phone with:-
- a better processor(the best connectivity)
- better MP (for camera)
- good memory capacity

before you buy a phone there are certain things that must take precedence, things like the chipset, it's cpu, the processors speed and gpu. what's their model? are they of entry level, mid range or high end designation? Can they handle hard multitasking without lagging? Are they battery efficient? Do they overheat on heavy use. If the chipset, processors and gpu doesn't measure up, then look elsewhere.

In an era where most new phones try to outdo the other in every department, having a phone with a pixel density of at least 401 ppi is a huge plus. the crisp and sharp display boost your movie watching, game playing and web browsing experience exponentially. a phone that debuts in 2015 with a PPI less than 350 shouldn't be taken seriously, at least on the visual front.

Does the phone have a removable battery, if it doesn't then what of a good battery backup? how good is it's battery life optimization? a battery below 2500 mAh is generally considered a lightweight and will invariably perform as such.

Be very careful before you invest on a phone, don't be enticed by the affordable price cuz cheap phones are statistically speaking, prone to faults.

did you flash the lollipop firmware via Odin or did you do it via OTA?

There is nothing special about lollipop. My S5's newly updated lollipop 5.0.2 is full of bugs and am seriously considering downgrading to the more trusty kitkat.

Battery life is what one can eke out from a single charge. Every body can use a powerpack if need be for additional back up.

What happens then if the battery finally start to misbehave overtime, heh? throw away the phone? I ask this because flat batteries are generally hopeless and extremely slow to charge and discharges quicker than someone suffering from premature ejac.

Aside from number 4 I do all this things. guess am an addict.

Something that doesn't come with removable battery and no over-the-top battery backup capability surely shouldn't, no scratch that, mustn't be taken seriously, and besides cpu wise, it's inferior to S5.

Most apps don't support multi-threading, so basically only 2 cores re utilized the rest are left untouched.

I think it's a little superior to mediatek MT6592 with 1.4ghz octacore A7 cortez processors.

S615 should be compared with d likes of s600(high end of first quarter of 2013) let me brake it down
S615 has 8 cores 64bit(1.5ghz cortex A53 and 1ghz cortex A53)
S600 has 4 cores krait 300 32bit(1.7ghz-1.9ghz depending on oem choice)
S801 has 4 cores krait 400 32bit(2.3ghz-2.5ghz depending on the modeling version)
Hope u get it now

Note: cortex A53 is 64bit version of familiar cortex A7 32bit(battery efficient) while krait has similar features with cortex A15(high performance)

But don't you think that s615 being 64 bit capable will have a better chance in the long run than the 32 bit s801, app and OS wise?
