Thanks

Difficulty with breathing when laying down is a sign of something. He should rule out heart, kidney or lungs issues.

If he has heartburn, chest pain and bloating then he likely has GERD

Lol really?

Cleodesign123:

No I don't, but when I want to sleep, it's more difficult because I feel as if something is blocking my airway, so I have to elevate my pillow and adjust myself to a better position several runs before I will be able to sleep

This is a typical GERD symptom. Acid reflux will occur more when you lay flat as gravity is in its favour. GERD patients are recomended to sleep with their head elevated.

I also find it difficult to sleep while laying on my back and my chest is more tight with significant heratburn

Health / Re: How Do I Deal With Excruciating Ulcer? by braveheart77: 11:58am On May 25, 2020
Finelinks:
Please I have been battling with ulcer, indigestion for the past 3 years.
This has adversely affected every aspect of my life and reduced my productivity too.

I have been to hospitals or and done several tests. I have taken treatments targeted at eliminating H pylori, all to no avail.

I used to take antacids and stopped when I got no improvements and also read about the side effects.

I have equally used a few home remedies.
I really want to hear real life experiences of people who have dealt with this before as it's causing me excruciating pains.

Major symptoms include bloating; hotness of the stomach, groin, legs, shortness of breath, excessive release of gas, belching etc.
THANKS.

You likely dont just have ulcer, you have GERD.

Just to be clear, the shortness of breath suggests you have GERD or Hiatal Hernia. GERD can be caused by your body producing too much acid that damages the lower esophageal sphincter, it can also be caused by a hiatal hernia.

Do you have trouble breathing when lying on your back? Pain in chest and admominal?

If you have a hiatal hernia, then depending on your posture, the hernia may hit the vagus nerve. The vagus nerve stimulates the release of hydrochloric acid (via proton pumps), this may cause over, or under, secretion of hydrochloric acid and stomach enzymes.

Poor stomach digestion due to a lack of sufficient hydrochloric acid can lead to bloating. In rare cases, gastric acid gas from the food will decay and fermentation causes throat spasms that lead to thyroid gland irritation and difficulty swallowing.

Excess acid can eventually lead to ulcer.

I have these symptoms and looking to do an endoscopy soon.

Ulcer itself isn't too difficult to cure but many stubborn cases of ulcer actually have underlying condition like GERD as the cause. GERD may also be a symptom of something more serious like Hiatal Hernia.

it happens that for sometime I have been having frequent indigestion and bloatness after eating and most times feel uncomfortable until I vomit. I went to a hospital and the doctor said is GOO but I shld go for barium test to confirm. He also ask if I had history of ulcer, which is the major cause And that if it's confirmed that the only solution is surgery.

How did it go? I have the same symptom.

Just to be clear, the vomiting frequently suggests you have GERD. GERD can be caused by your body producing too much acid that damages the lower esophageal sphincter, it can also be caused by a hiatal hernia.

The problem now is that,if this act persist, the company may go bankrupt sooner than later. Even though, the job is not worth dying for, half bread they said it's better than none. I can't afford to be jobless.
Please advise me on what to do?

Please report them, its only fair to do so!! Stealing should never be tolerated.

Tell your MD to engage a finance consultant to put controls in place in order to mitigate the risks of theft and mismanagement of funds

Seun:

Can you point us to where the World Health Organization officially recommended the use of face-masks? It would be very helpful, thanks.

The reason masks should be used by all is because not every sick person actually uses a mask to prevent them from spreading the virus. Infact many people with the virus don't know they have the virus..

If its 100% certain that all sick people will use a mask, then probably there is no need for healthy people to use a mask.

As per Ankara mask, I'm struggling to see how it is different from the regular blue masks that sell 400 naira in pharmacies. Although for the blue masks I'm sure the material lining on the outside is different from that on the inside (probably making breathing process work normally), i cant say this for the ankara masks, i guess further research is necessary.

This is not the first patient to say that she didn't see her result. I have videos in my phone of patients that said they never saw their results. Only audio results. How will you be Ill and not see your own lab results? Does it make sense? People don't use there brain to reason Sha. Corona is in Nigeria but highly over hyped and politicized

Many of those complaining of not seeing results did Awoof tests in government hospitals. And you're expecting government to still issue an official result on top the Awoof test they did?

If NCDC tells you are positive through SMS, if you like don't believe.

Any contact with someone with covid?, any travel history? Any cough or fever, is the shortness of breath both when you sit and when you walk?, and hope it's not out of panic also? Also if you use a good device worth checking your observations and oxygen saturation just to make sure you are not significantly I'll already.

If you feel worried at all and unable to cope with your symptoms, it's best you give NCDC a ring and follow their advice. I am not so sure how it plays out with them I am afraid. However worth giving them a call.

No travel history.

I normally find that first question funny. How do we identify someone that is positive? Nigeria is exposed already and many people have the virus walking around you.

Yes Short Breath happens whether sitting or walking.

I'll look out for the oxygen devicetest .

Thanks a lot bro.

MrBigiman:

Please dont go to any hospital as these could be mild covid symptoms, and going into a hospital may help spread the infection. Rather if you are not short of breath, and having to high fever, then do self isolate for 1week. Ensure you keep your distance from close members of your household, and ideally they should self isolate also for 2weeks, or for 1week from when they start experiencing symptoms themselves.

Loss of taste and smell at this critical period is covid until proven otherwise.

Cheers

Thank God for mauritius! NCDC, pls stop escalating the figures because of monetary gain. My little cousin broke her leg, was taken to the hospital for dressing and treatment. Guess what was written in the receipt? Covid 19 discharged. The mom tried to protest but they asked her to calm down, that's the new protocol.

They may be overstating the discharged case in order to feel like the country is surviving but i can tell you the number of cases are well above 5000 which NCDC published as at yesterday.

I am a witness. I likely have the virus. Been experiencing a shortness of breath that got worse, serious chest pain, sore throat, etc. And all this happened after i went out when the lockdown was relaxed.

My advise to everyone. Stay safe!!!! Do not catch the virus before you believe it is real.

I have been in discomfort for good 3 days and i can't believe that this will continue. I have never felt this way in my life.

My results will be out in 48 hrs

Your ED is caused by conditioning of your brain to attribute pleasure only to masturbation (this happens for many people over time due to masturbation and porn). Yes there is Porn Induced Erectile Dysfunction!!!

As long as your ED is not organic there's not much to worry about.

You cam get back to normal by doing nofap (staying away from faping overtime), this will make your brain recondition itself to get erections through normal.sex.

Visit www.nofap.com to learn more

There's also a sub reddit on nofap:

https://www.reddit.com/r/NoFap/

You can also.PM me for discussion. I probably know about ED than an average urologist. Still battling one for over a year but the cause is physical.

Do not let anyone scam you with herbal treatments. There is a very little chance your case is due to improper diet.. If that was the case you will never get erection even if a lady sits on your lap.

Gerd also contributes to the general breathing difficulty.

Hello,
About a year ago, I had a "supposed" exposure to HIV. I had all the symptoms you can think of. I still have some of them till this moment ( recurring mouth ulcers, blurry vision, dizziness and swollen lymph nodes). I tested outside the recommended 6 months periods and it came out negative. The lady i had sex with tested negative also severally. I've been falling sick more after the exposure, so much for someone who rarely get sick. I know i'm immunocompromised as it stands, can anyone recommend any supplements or drugs to boost my immune system?

Vitamin C should be enough. Get Immunboost Plus..
