GARRI PICS

1. Peel off the back of the cassava tubers. Try as much as possible not to peel too deep.

2. Wash the peeled tubers. Use a lot of water because this is the only washing you are going to do.

3. Cut the tubers into medium sizes. This is because they are going to be ground in a grinding machine. Smaller sizes increases the speed.

4. Take them to the machine (usually a very big one) and grind them.

5. After the grinding, the cassava powder (still watery) need to be packed in long bags and drilled to ultimate dryness in a jack for 2-3 days.

6. Using a wide sieve, sieve off the fine cassava powder from other particles.

7. Then, using a wide frying pan, fry the powder in reasonable portions until it becomes very dry and brittle.

8 Pack your garri in a dry place, and start enjoying your meal.

i am not joking ooo, every weekend, i used to donate 2 bags of garri to about 4 orphanage homes each.

because we talk about bread and garri does not make us unserious people, it only shows how we take life simple, rather than too serious. our existence is pure vanity, so live your life well by smiling and laughing well with those around you cos you must surely cry one day either when you are about to die or because someone you love is about to die or is already dead. so eat and enjoy much garri and bread with water as long as you are alive. SEUN stop pretending and be a real human, for no one is above life. I am a reverend father of the catholic church, but that does not take away the fact that i must not consume garri or bread. common seun try them out, you will become a disciple of these soul foods.

Bibol: The truth is that a lot of corps members are lazy, they want to serve in private companies where they will be well-paid but yet,they are not ready to give their best. I find it rather annoying to see youths walk into my office looking for a place to serve and when you give them simple aptitude tests, they fail woefully.
