The higher d better. there shud be more dan having less..


1..get a 1024mb gpu..A 512mb gpu is jst below average u might get frustrated in d process later wen u get amazing games..

2..Get an asus or asrock motherboard...

is it only gamin u re usin d pc 4.. u might want 2 get a cpu wit extra features like HT..(Hyper threading feature) ....

A quad core pc == 4 cores (physical) if HT(virtual) present its 4 X 2 == 8 cores
A quad core pc == 4 cores if HT absent its == 4 cores only

if d i core 3 is 2 cores and HT present 2 X 2 == 4 cores
if d i core 3 is 2 cores and HT absent 2 X 2 == 4 cores

if i core 3 is quad core and HT present 4 X 2 == 8 cores
if i core 3 is quad core and HT absent 4 == 4 cores

HT delivers two processing threads per physical core. All depends on how the game was optimized for using HT, but it was soon found that physical cores far exceed virtual ones in games though, so HT is more or less useless. HT only helps for multiple apps (or even apps designed 2 use more dan 3 logical cores)and programs open at once when needed though, so it's not at all dead, just not viable for games. get a quad core processor with enough ghz as u can afford.. by the way u didnt mention the name of the icore 3 processor(if it is a 2nd/3rd/4th generation i processor) and the core 2 quad processor name so we can do a comparison.

press ur windows button and R button 2geda. it den pops the run prompt.. type diskmgmt.msc and hit enter on ur keyboard.. it will ask if u want to run d program click yes. the disk management window now opens .. here u will find ur drivers and d partitions on it..right click on d drive u want 2 partition (u will see system,boot,page file, active,crash dump) and select shrink volume..it wil den query d disk for space..it might take a while just let it run.. wen it pops up u wil si d following


Total size before shrink in MB (available hard disk space)

size of available shrink space in MB (available size of shrink space.. i.e shrink space here mins d size dat can be used for anoda partition)

Enter the amount of space to shrink in MB
( you can squeeze out some space from 2 above to use for the new partition while u leave extra space for the main hard disk or use the entire space depending on ur needs but i will suggest u still leave some space)


Total size after shrink in MB ( size remaining after u ve selected some space in 3 above.. dis remaining size will be d total size of ur hard drive..

1024MB=1GB

Donsteffi: I think my antivirus Comodo has removed a file from driver folder which has affected my drivers. I've tried using LAN cables and wireless connection but it's not connecting. I tried troubleshooting and it says " there is a problem with my drivers".

spoil get grade.. most technicians are not grounded in electronics...so de find it difficult 2 reallly tackle motherboard problems. some de work base on experience. more also equipment matters a lot..... tins like removing and reballing gpus need machine esp removing and mounting it back...

was d spec of d pc and how long does it take 2 come up... just use ur stopwatch... and give other symptoms apart from the ones u just mentioned

falansa: Thanks for the honest reply, i bought it brand new four months ago and i have not formated it before. Reasons why i intend to format is include
1) the disk space is almost full without know what docs occupy the spaces
2) It is getting slower, and at times take up to a min before vlc player can load, and also took longer than normal when switching it off.
3) window defender have been notifying since a week ago that there malware on the system and when i scanned it wit antivirus, it found none
And lastly i think d dvd rom driver is faulty coz the dvd rom will eject itself without playing anytime i inserted any disk to it.
I just want to recover it back to the first time i bought it with a view that the problems mentioned above will be solved.

bros save urself the troubles... getting a tokubo hard disk is not ideal.. except u are willing 2 test the health status of dat hard disk be4 paying 4 it.. either by using some hard disk tools or the inbuilt disk test tool on ur hp system... abeg buy new one.. get an external hard drive of 500gb cost abt 10500 and pull the hard disk out 4rm d case n use on ur lappy.. or u could get a 320gb hard drive 4 abt 9k or 9.5k...
