angel divine: Thanks, my husband applied as single in may 2010 and didn't know he will win then we got married in march 2011, when the result came out in may 2011 he won and he added my name on the form and we were called for the interview. So I join nairaland. At the interview I answered them boldly cos I know is not a do or die affair and I knew all the answers which made the consular say am a nice lady so after the 2nd interview couple will know their faith when they get home and ask themselves. Thank God we made it here.

OUR INTERVIEW EXCEPERIENCE
We were interviewed by a white lady and the first interview goes thus: what is your name,
Please let me have your o'level result,
What is commerce and the branches,
What specimen did you use for your biology practical,
Define inflation,
Explain your project topic,
Where did you meet your wife,
What is the friend's name,
She then said ok and gave us a letter to come on the date written on it with our wedding album
OUR SECOND INTERVIEW
An igbo man interviewed us separately they interviewed my husband first.
What is your name
are you married
Where did you meet ( I told him a restaurant and he said I know the place is it up or down)
Describe you house,
What is the name of your landlord
How many keys are in your house bunch of keys
When was the first time you both had sex
Did he use a condom
When last did you both have sex
When was your last menstrual date
When does he come back from work
are you on face book (yes) he checked on this computer he saw my name and status
Why didn't you post you wedding pictures here
How come you changed your surname and none of your friends commented (cos I didn't tell any of them about my wedding and don't have much friends on face book)
Why did you write "thinking about you" on the 25th march 2011, ( sir is cos he was not back from a football match he went to watch that night)
Tell me the names of his siblings
What is his parents address and describe the apartment
What his is phone number
Have you served and where
where did you serve.
you seems to be a nice lady,let's go. He took me out and said to the both of us,
you may leave. After 3 weeks they called my husband and said we should submit our passport and a new medical report in their new hospital so we did when we got to the embassy we weCasualtyCasualtyre given a letter to go to an address and get our visa in 5 working days.
Now we are in US praise God! Halleluyah.

* My wife was norminated for further processing and She applied as S.S.C.E holder and every member of the family were included in the application form at earlier stage. I would like to know what are the likely question they normally ask from the couple candidates that normally apply as S.S.C.E holders and she is a trader? and about the wedding what are we need to know about the wedding interview?

angel divine: oh am sorry i didnt update the house about my subsequent developments it was because i have being so busy. well i my husband was called 3 weeks after the interview to come and drop our passport for visa and that we must do another medical in thier new hospital. after this was done we submitted the passport and medical report and we were given a letter to collect our visa in five working days. after five working days we got our visa and left Nigeira on the 15th of june we got here on the 16th and i travelled to canada on the 20th from united states and got back last sunday. so our 1st interview was on 14th of march, second was 26th of april and we were called to drop our passport on 21st of may.

Do they need NYSC certificate and your company Id card.
