Gentiger: It's important you submit all forms as soon as you can as long as you got no encumberances. Interviews are scheduled not necessarily on firstcome first serve basis, but according to case numbers. If there are issues you still need to sort out which might not have been sorted out on your interview date (especially for those with low case number), then it's advisable to hold on until it's reasonable to submit.reply not for me but C Blessed: Hey I have a question I won DV lottery 2013 and I am a single mother, if someone know documents that i have to bring to the interview, please tell me. Thomby2k12: Hello nairalanders, i need to say a very big gbosa for each and every member of this forum for the wonderful jobs u're doing. I have a disturbing question concerning the dv lottery program. In 2004 one of my cousins submitted multiple entries during d lotery registratn. He submitted about 75 entries with different names but using his picture. When the result came out in July 2005, he won wit a fake name. He sat for GCE that same year and passed wit flying colour. When he went for his interview in 2006, after submitting his documents and waiting to be interview, he suspected that it had been discovered that he submitted multiple forms during the lottery. For fear that his fingeprints might taken if interviewed, he decided to leave the embassy and forgo the interview. He even left the int'l passport with them. Since then he has been abiding by the lottery rules by submitting only one entry with his real name during the registration period, until this year may when he won the visa lotery again, but he's afraid to process it. Pls, help us. Is there any hope for him if he processes it?Hello nairalanders, i need to say a very big gbosa for each and every member of this forum for the wonderful jobs u're doing. Billyonaire: small money, they should sell all of us and use the money for the projects.laugh wan kill me 'lwkm' |
HOUSE, pls not that b4 u contact kcc or the Embassy abt any issue, seek advice from the forum not AFTER. |
jst.hitang:. All the best. |
ajmiry: One last question.not realy but i think it safer to fill single to married since he cant remember. |
since must of you have refuse to understand that we dont need a state police now then we shuld be ready to see OPC, Bakasi, arewa and even BH in uniform all in the name of policing ther state. And non of you shuld come shouting victimazation later. |
NovusHomo: I have just now realized that this Inspector-General "is not ripe enough" for the Nigerian Police. Does he know anything about policing in the US? Practically every major city has its own police department. And, as to a State /City being overwhelmed, the Americans have the National Guard (a quasi military force exclusively for the preservation of internal order) With all the estacode payment, you would think this IG will know, or at least find out. On the other hand, I like his activist take on the widening gap between the rich and the poor. Is that his call as an appointee of the government? That is another matter.never in ur life compare USA to 9ja in any aspect. corruption is the fundation of 9ja Demo-crazy but not in the USA. Forget abt state police for now. |
ypzilanti: My brother, Nigeria is over ripe for state police. What is needed is a fool proof system to check abuse by the governors and an ability for state police to request back up in extreme cases. Also a system to overide state police powers if the need arises. We should stop this lazy approach. No one is more interested in securing their environment than the inhabitants of the place. This is why even though state police is banned, various forms of vigilante and community security groups always spring up. What is needed is a way to train these people and monitor them so they are not subject to abuse of power. Examples already abound all over the world.good point. But in 9ja nothing ever works right, not till when we can fight corruption, i say no to state police. |
Flobzy4real: so what should i take to the interview. Because they told us to bring a photocopy of our marriage certificate that day could it be they called us for the copy?Bro, relax. Who God has blessed, no man or CO can .........'change' it will be permanent. Pls dont forget to post ur interviwe exp later. God wa start am, go finish am. |
afam4eva: Rubbish talk. If Nigeria is not ripe enough for state police then it's not ripe enough for having states or local governments.we were not even ripe for independence as at 1960, thats why we in this mess. It will be abused, period. |
Abayomin70: rubbish talkNo, i think he has a point. It will be abused cos as he said, 9ja is not ripe 4 it yet. |
ajmiry: Yeah you are right, then i will sugest he fill single cos for the fact that he cant remember means he dint fill for his wife and child(ren). Good luck. |
Bussyme: Ok, she should do court wedding first and after that go for inter'l passport and sending forms to kcc all in husband name. Infact she must ready to face rigorous interview at embassy and get ready all traditional pictures.Bussyme, u rite. |
