Chaii, I can imagine the lady's hurt. I remember my friend's wedding about 6years ago. It was a very scary moment. Pastor and church members gathered for about 3hours, and the couple were busy having the traditional marriage. Church service was to start at 12:00 and they were carried away with the traditional marriage until around 3:00pm. Church was filled to the brim, and everybody waited endlessly. I called the bride severally to tell her the pastor was becoming impatient and she kept telling me they are about to round up. Long story short, at exactly 3:00pm and with the yet to show up, the pastor said the grace and locked up the church. Even when the groom eventually showed up, he refused to tender an apology. My friend wept blood that day. We family and friends pleaded and pleaded until the pastor came back to join the without observing the regular rites. If only one could turn back the hand of the clock. That was a sign or God warning my friend. One year later, the marriage was hellish for her. She went in and out of depression and by the second year, marriage was over. If ever you have experienced this or have someone who has been through hell in the hands of these useless blood hungered animals that live in the bush and graze like cows yet coming to demand millions, the you won't understand what the victim is passing through. He has called on his family, employers and No 1 citizen of the state to rescue him. I hope they don't pretend and turn a deaf ear to his plea but listen and help him out. Sometimes I think a lot of Nigerians live in a Fool's Paradise. Does the PTF really think returnees undergo this tests? A friend came in from the UK yesterday. Paid #5000 and showed them her Travel Certificate front he UK to indicate no traces of Covid was defected in her. That #5000 was her gatepass. If only these 100 defaulters had agreed to pay they wouldn't be in this mess. Maybe their crime was refusing to pay afterall. 1 Like |
