Lagos State Police Command early Monday morning arrested 5 trans-border robbers fleeing into Lagos after robbing an Ogun State based haulage company’s warehouse.


Apart from Ahmed Ibrahim, four other members of the gang equally arrested include, Damola Nebu (30), Ndueso Sunday (45), Tochukwu Egbami (33) and Obinna Kunle (30).

So I was talking about this with a friend of mine(a guy by the way) and he was like it isn't possible at this age. I told him that I wanted to keep mine till I got married and he said there's no way I won't be tempted to do it before then.

Well, we argued about it and I was trying to tell him that it's very possible. He told me that I'll just end up being addicted to masturbation if I didn't 'release' my sexual tension.

We eventually stopped arguing and closed the topic but when I thought about it, I was actually wondering if it's possible or I'm just being naive.

l kept a file containing all my credentials ( waec result,degree cert, nysc cert and 2 letters of recommendation from the companies l worked with),and 2 other files containing that of my husband and son's documents,in a safe place,l am always careful with things like that.

Two years ago, around August, l visited my parents in another state for a family prayer,l spent two weeks there and came back ,to discover that the file containing my credentials has disappeared, my husband and son's file were still there,it was as if someone took out my own and left the others.

I and my husband have searched everywhere,yet nothing. It hasn't been easy for me,the thought of loosing all l worked for,for years is heart breaking, l have prayed ,fasted, yet nothing. l don't know the mystery behind this,if only God can tell me,l will be happy.

l planned doing my masters,but l have given up since my original result is missing. This problem has been eating away my happiness, my spiritual life is zero because l am tired of praying and l have lost faith,l have lost Gods mercy as well.

Many times l am tempted to seek help from native spiritualist to find it for me,but my spirit rejects it,please what do l do??

l have already swore an affidavit to back up my claims but it was rejected the last time l went for an interview.

A man has taken to social media to cry out for help after securing admission into the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) in Enugu state only to find out the department never existed. This is after paying the required fees and completing the registration. 

Matthew Etopobong Udeme, took to twitter to narrate his ordeal which has seen him waste almost one year without collecting the refund.

He wrote; 

"Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) Enugu gave me HND admission in Mechatronics Engineering, Dec 2017. Following the steps on the website, I completed full payment hoping to start school in January 2018. On getting there, I realized the department does not exist".

"I wrote the first letter asking for a change of department from Mechatronics Engineering to E/E, the school replied that department cannot be changed in HND, leaving me with no other option than to forfeit the admission, stay at home for another one year and seek fresh admission".

"Feb. 2018, I wrote another letter asking for refund of the total money paid (68,500), since the admission did not work. The school rather approved ONLY 40,000. Well, I accepted and kept checking on the cashier so I can get the 40,000".

"Since February till October, cashier keeps saying, "there's no order to pay yet, we're still waiting for the management". The worst was after I relocated with my family from Enugu to Lagos, I travelled back to Enugu just to follow up on this money, still the "no order yet".

"I have already lost so much; - one full year wasted, I'm currently trying to get admission else where. - on the way returning from Enugu, I was attacked, my laptop and phone taken from me. - I've wasted a lot of money going to the school since February to track the progress".

 "I call on the authorities to assist me get back my complete money. They say they cannot refund the acceptance fees. What exactly did I accept? Admission into a department that does not exist? Even the 40,000, it's been 8 good months, nothing is coming out. Please help me. Thanks".

Don't know if one should be happy with this kinda news, primary school pupils build this for fun in advanced countries but its a final year project for a university student in Nigeria,,

Bottom line is we are so lagging behind in every aspect as a country, I almost wept when I saw my father's note he used in the 80s, the topics are practically the same with the same approach. We really need to improve our standards..

This only happens in Africa.In Africa, institutions are the private property of powerful/strong men.The wife of the IG, who in all respect is not a member of the force, had to order Sierra Leone policemen to sit on the floor as though they are some puppies owned by her husband.According to report,she described the policemen as lazy people after they failed to do the job she ordered them to do.

This is totally unacceptable and undone.
She needs to be prosecuted for this and if found wanting charged heavily for shaming the force.This has to be cutoff right at now. Pathetic!
