The only weakness I saw in the previous episode was that, Cercie stood tall and confident. But she didn't have any strategic plan. She relied on Eurion and his scorpions. She has no plan B, which is so stupid.

Oh I forgot. Her plan B was to use the citizens as human shield. It's the most wayward idea I've ever seen. I was expecting at least one last hidden/camouflaged scorpion in the red keep. Disappointing though.

I have a theory that the three-eyed raven is the true architect of everything that happened, including what Dany did to King's Landing. He was the one who informed Jon and Sansa that Jon has a better claim to the Iron throne, which set events into motion that resulted in the destruction of King's landing. He may have been the one that told the mad king to burn down King's landing and made him crazy just as he did to Hodor. But Jaime prevented that from happening. And he may be the one that drove Dany to burn them all? The three eyed raven has no regard for individual lives. He is all about the big picture. Perhaps he orchestrated all the bloodshed in order to rebuild Westeros as a democratic society? Destroying the capital destroyed the people and institutions that made Westeros what it is. With that done, it's easier to build something better.

This is a cool angle to view the whole scenario. He united Danny and the North and used them to wipe out the white walkers. And finally manipulating Daenerys in destroying KL

I beg to disagree. It is common wisdom. If those wildfires were buried underground, they wouldn't have leaked out the way they did. Magma, Napalm or whatever it was Drogon was spitting isn't that powerful to burrow underground and cause a spark. I take my cue from reanimated Viserion who couldn't get past a stone to roast Jon. While we saw the strength of the Dragon in a new dimension in the recent episode, we very much know they don't have the strength to dig out the Wildfires from underground the city. The wildfire is highly flammable but that in itself isn't enough.

I saw the episode again yesterday and it was obvious the wildfires were stored in the buildings that was destroyed. If this was the case, then it makes no sense that residential buildings were locked up and used for wildfire havens during the Mad King's reign and remained that way decades later. There is no sense in it. It would have been discovered by anyone and alarm would have been raised.

I strongly believe Cersei planted them as traps around the city while the unfortunate people of the city were her last line of defense. Scorpions - Wildfires - Human shields. It is a well thought out strategy that never materialized all thanks to Dany's rage. Saying they were planted by the Mad King a long time ago only to burst into flames within buildings as depicted in the episode is unsellable.

You have a strong point for using viserion and Jon's encounter as an example. The zombie dragon could not get to Jon because of a stone debris Jon hid behind.

Drogon brought down castles in a single breath. From the history of GOT, The mad King planted wildfire in all of Kingslanding. Some of that wildfire was used by Cercie in destroying the great Sept. Tyron also discovered a vault of wildfire which he used in winning the battle of Blackwater. From the books and from the movie only the Mad king was mad enough to do something like that. In no way did Cercie do such. Let's not just start assuming things

Drogon was always known to be the greatest of the 3 dragons. Their might can't be compared. Even that same viserion that couldn't get to Jon Snow was the same Dragon that burnt down the great Wall. If one can bring down such great mass of ice, why not some wildfire hidden under the city.

I'm not good at putting my points together . But I hope you comprehend what I'm trying to say. I'm not saying cercie is not evil enough to plant wildfire. Im saying she isn't the one who did it.

Wild fire was planted in King's landing by the Mad King during the "sack of kings landing". His plan was to burn his enemies and kings landing to the ground . But all thanks to Jaime Lannister who saved the day. The kingslayer killed the Pyromancer who was supposed to set kingslanding ablaze and finally killed the mad King. His last words were "burn them all"

Not all Targaryans end up mad afterall(Maester Aemon is a good example) The coin in Varys' parable signifies "chance/probability".

The mad King wasn't born mad. He had a break out in the later years of his reign. Dany has had her own breakout.

Every TV has its setbacks. In Daenerys Character development it has always been displayed to us that she had psychotic issues (just like her brother and ancestors).

Jon has been a passive character in season 8. This is because of his peace making nature. He claims Daenerys to be his queen (an excuse he uses to avoid being an opposition to her). But the final episode will tell who indeed is the greatest Character
