No mind them, if they show us the interior of these two new state universities in SA now plus their facilities and learning resources na shame go catch us. We celebrate mediocrity too much in naija. Schools without research facilities and fund making noise since cos of dilapidated buildings scattered everywhere on large mass of land. No doubt we Nigerians are hard working in academics and otherwise, but we don't have the facilities to aid quality research and development.

Chai..having A.C in lecture rooms has become a yardstick of standard now. We should be talking about primary learning resources/facilities for both students and lecturers when talking about standards. Most of the old Federal universities tried in terms of structures, but we are over hyping them already.

This new trend of nonsense hype of all these our sub-standard universities that have no reasonable research centers will cause more harm than good to the schools. Students and graduates of the schools are all out to hype their schools for no sensible reasons making the government feel they have done enough.

With the rising cases of patients coming out to tell the world that ncdc are just scamming people with their figures, this scam game will not last oooo,time will tell when the hunter will become the hunted.

Don't mind them, they inflated the number just to justify the amount they planned to loot from the heavy fund allocated to them. They kept discharging people in batches and enrolling new ones every night. Around the globe, we saw pictures and video evidence of hospital wards where COVID-19 patients were kept, but in our own country we see figures daily and them the presidential task force update daily alone.

When I read some comments on nairaland, I see why sanity, love and friendship is far from us these days. Thank God for people like me, once you make it more than me and I sense any sign of you distancing yourself from me, I will help you increase the distance by million miles more. These same set of friends who start distancing when they feel they have arrived still turn around later to call you bad belle cos you refused to chase them like other people. My principle back in the days and till now is to cut my coat according to my size, I don't hustle to make friend with rich people, if they draw closer, I will embrace them, but I don't take the first move or initiate any closeness. Till date, na them still the rush me, I hate any form of pride around me cos we all will make it some day.
