My point was/is, A top 50 list of secondary schools in Africa with only one Nigerian school(which I'm sure isn't no. 1 in Nigeria) is questionable.
What criteria was used? Cos that still remains unclear.
Unless it has to do with the ages of these schools cos I know SA has very old schools, unlike Nigeria.

Na ordinary local packaging them get na. some of those private schools in Nigeria don't have basic school facilities such as Library, standard laboratory, standard clinic, hostel facilities and sport facilities. School rating is based on school plant ( standard play ground, organised class rooms, laboratory, library, office building, hostel and staff quarters) and academic strength which is seen from the school' performance at both internal and external examinations as well as performance at international level. Take a stroll to some of the schools with those ridiculous school fees in Nigeria and you will be shocked they don't have enough land for expansion, the erect story building cos of lack of space hence the don't bother about sport arena and co.. Not to forget the calibre of teachers in the school, in most of the private schools in Nigeria, you see someone who studied Civil engineering teaching Agric Science, Biology and Chemistry, a history graduate teaching Economics, government and Business studies. They maximise staff to reduce cost and make plenty profit while the students suffer. Only in Government owned schools you will see proper allocation of subjects but the teachers there are very unserious due to poor remuneration and welfare package.

NYSC directorate will issue certificate 3weeks before the exact date of completion. That 3weeks is the Terminal leaves and certificate is meant to bear the date that signified that the one year for the service has been exhausted.
it doesn't matter if it's Saturday or Sunday or Friday.

The children of hate from the BMC headquarters will still come up with another hungry forensic analysis like Dino's name didn't appear on any CDS during his service year, hence the certificate shouldn't have been issued to him..

NYSC DG has been compromised according to BMC..

What evidence have you to prove the VC has been compromised? you guys should stop this hate already. First it was Dino didn't go to ABU, when that was not enough, SR came up with he had carry overs, then it became he graduated with 3rd class,from that it became Dino's statement of result showed B.A geography instead of B.Sc. geography. Now that the VC of the school has come out to clear the air, it's he has been compromised cos of the brochure cooked up by SR. if e pain una, make una go beat the VC for telling the truth.

Sincerely the school's reputation has just been rubbished by the VC

You all making noise about how it took the school a long time to respond.When did our schools moved from manual to digital system of computing school records self? I am sure some of you don't know that thousands of people passes through same school system after a particular set, hence tracing a manual record takes time. if you are a graduate, go back to your school and ask for your exams record and see if the department can do that for you within a short time

So many of us have brain but don't reason with it. How corrupt is ABU of all school to admit someone with a fake first degree certificate of their school into their postgraduate programme? Which transcript was used to check if he's qualified for the admission? Dino can't be that stupiid to claim an alumnus of the prestigious ABU if he has no authentic certificate. How did he gain admission for Postgraduate degree in University of Abuja? is academic transcript no longer a requirement to gain admission for masters? is that how corrupt our universities have become?

In my days in UNILAG, one could not spend more than one and a half of the normal duration of his/her course of study. i.e one could not spend more than six years for a four year course for example.

@ bolded, I don't do this "us vs you" thing a lot of people do on social media these days. I'm sensible enough to know that neither Dino, Tinubu nor any of their likes care about me. Therefore, I do not give a hoot what happens to any of them. Just so you know.

I get your point. But, you must understand that schools in the core north don't operate like other places in Nigeria. I have seen someone spend more than the maximum years(6) for a four years course.

What this man is saying might be true but can't be used in court. If truly he has a lot of carry over and the school just passed him in any case, the competent court and school have right to withdraw his certificate. Is just like a case of somebody who gain admission with a pass in mathematics to study accounting with waiver or negligence or favour from the school management, if he goes for an interview after graduating from the school, the panel will certainly ask him/her about the deficiency he has in mathematics to study accounting which require it before gaining admission. If he's employ in government establishment, when it is time for mass sacking due to lack of availability of funds, he will be one of those to be considered first for retrenchment. Even with his pass in mathematics he can't register for ICAN. So, in this case I don't see him escaping this certificate issue.
