BabaRamota1980: The accounts were given by NSA Office Staff. They were the errand boys doing the money transfers. Unless you want to tell us NSA Office was fake.
People will soon start abusing you. When they have no defense, the resort to throwing abusive words.
MakeNigeriaGrea: You are the real fool. Why did Simi denied being involved if truly she joined? Your brain is leaking. slowpoke.
I see you are very good at abusing people. I can only hope that you have a change of character later. Maybe one day you will grow enough to realize that an individual's rejection of an idea (e.g Simi) does not make the idea void. It may take you a long time however to process this, but i am hopeful that one day, you will understand it.
MakeNigeriaGrea: Ogbeni shut up. How did they compile the list? Was there a circular telling people to join? This stuff was compiled without the knowledge of the youths. Did you know that there is going to be that initiative?
The height of your wisdom can be well assessed by your first three words. You claim youths were not informed; I guess the people that signed up like Banky W are elderly people. Foolishness can be perceived easily when a man opens his mouth.
And I apologise for making the error of assuming that you are educated.

HonSuQMaDIQ: Bald headed double-dealing two faced monkey ... man up and do the hatchet job you've been paid to do. But note that hunger wont let Nigerians be fooled a 2nd time. Also blame yourself when you get stoned at any future show. Goodluck Judas!
Bro, have you read their agenda? Did you see anything like "to support PMB or APC"?
What educated people like you should do is to find out the aims and objectives of the said association, instead of making assumptions.
I hope we, the educated ones will not mislead the other people who look up to us for direction.
olujastro: Not surprised at this; a combination that happens when a country relies on revenue from commodities like oil and it crashes, and bad governance/corruption/mismanagement is the order of the day.
I always tell people that Nigeria has done very well economically compared to its colleagues that were victims of the same oil price slump; Angola and Venezuela. CNN's Amanpour specifically mentioned these 3 countries in 2014.
Before the 2014/15 oil prices crash:
1 USD = 100 Angolan Kwanza. Today it's = 255. (155% loss of value) 1 USD = N200. Today it's N360. (80% loss of value) 1 USD = 10 Vef. Today it's 120,000 Vef. (1.200,000% loss of value)
It’s easy to see where our currency would have headed if the massive looting was not halted in 2015.
It's time to grow a productive economy built on quality infrastructure and subsequently industrial boom rather than an economic growth that was tied to high oil prices under PDP governments.
Unfortunately many of us do not read about economics and its basis. That's why many would believe in MMM and other ponzi schemes. In fact many people abused the CBN for stopping them from "investing" in MMM.
Had the looting continued, Nigeria would have been in great trouble. For the first time in a long while Nigeria is enjoying infrastructural development .......Kindly check out the rail lines that were completed and the airport moves including the newly completed Abuja wing, dry ports etc. But we are not satisfied. Its even okay to wish for more, but to wish to replace a government with a worse one just because of primordial sentiments beats my imagination.
The major issue this govt has is poor security. Before we get it twisted, I hope it is obvious enough now that everyone (christians, muslims, southerners and northerners) is affected. So, we can bury our sentiments that its the "islamization agenda".
gartamanta: So some Python dancers were killed in that attack? Nice one! May the God of Biafrans be praised for avenging her children slaughtered by the terrorist Python dancers.
I assume you did not see the name "okolie" boldly written on the tag of one of the said soldiers. The army has people from all tribes and tongues. Many of them are obviously from the same "land" you claim to support.
Its even difficult to believe that a Nigerian will rejoice at the death of another human, just because their views differ.

As for E. O. Adeboye and W. F. Kumuyi keep being quiet, posterity will never forget your silence in this trying time for Northern Christians
If you notice, those two are also the oldest. Perhaps they see something that others are not seeing
gaby: Sure bro if for nothing but to encourage and help my ministry forward or else i go go back to 419 ooo and you might end up being my next victim and then no mercy... lol
YemziAdez: While I agree with some of the stated information, I cannot help but say that some of them are anecdotal.
I've been involved in a number of research projects, and I must say, we (Nigerians) are doing our best.
The last research project I volunteered on was on the study of insectivorous bats across different elevations on Afi and Obudu mountains in Cross River State.
My lecturer, who came from the USA won a number of research grants, and I must say, I've never ever in my life, seen the kind of equipments she bought upon Her arrival in Nigeria.
At the end of the project, we discovered that the population and/or diversity of bats on the mountain decreases as we ascend. Some of the findings will be published sooner rather than later (as the one shared is just a slice of the project).
But the big question is will our policy makers adhere to the suggestions and comments made in the article(s)?
If all of these are not tackled - by waking the government and policy makers from their dogmatic slumber, I'm afraid some folks will keep assuming that researchers (although not all) are squandering the research grants received.
Cheers
Brilliant!!! I am a researcher and I know that a lot of what is being posted by people are half truths
Nwodosis: Is prostitution not an illegal business in Nigeria? How come they have got the legal right to take their customers to the police to seek justice for their illegal business? Back to the matter, the man went in there and contracted the prostitute to have a discharge which is a round. A round of sex is independent of time and he can't be charged for an extra time! Must every man be an embarrassment like Miracle in BBNaija that cut short the viewing pleasure of his fans by discharging into Nina in seconds?
Yes, prostitution is illegal in Nigeria. So also is assault and battery. After all, if he had killed the girl we would have asked for justice not minding what type of biz they engaged in.
In the same report you have the government saying "The Yobe state government hereby informs the public that some of the girls at Government Girls Science Technical College (GGSTC) whose school was attacked by Boko Haram terrorists last Monday have been rescued by gallant officers and men of the Nigerian Army from the terrorists who abducted them,”
There was a second sttaement that " The rescued girls are now in the custody of the Nigerian Army. We will provide more details about their number and condition in due course.”.
Yet the headlines says otherwise and the report ends with an angry man saying "“We were all angry. How could they have deceived us all along?” asked the young man who said two of his sisters were among the captives".
What form of journalism is this? Or am I not reading it well?
That secularism is the bane of the high corruption and immorality in the country. We can only get things right when we drops our constitutional laws and embrace Sharia law to police the country. Nigeria will soon be an Islamic country in future insha Allah

Why not get a lawyer to do some investigations. Don't risk what you have based on ideas by unknown faces. You can also visit Alausa to find out personally.
konjinus: OK I hope u can see their way of thinking as typically shown by the atheist insulting everyone. Well it's not remarkable to be an atheist either since babies are born curious(not atheist as claimed by some atheist in a way to justify their crude attitude towards God). Also many scientists are religious. They act like science has rendered the idea of God stupid. Science hasn't discovered yet God in space neither have they concluded the search and concluded that God doesn't exist.
I hope that people making derogatory statements will desist from it. We are all adults and we can make our points without being abusive.
konjinus: Happy Sunday. I want to put forth this questions to atheist and other anti Christian movement. What do you really want. Do u hate God? Or you hate believing in God? I ask this because a lot of aithiest are so devoted to religion yet they claim not to believe in God. And if u don't believe in God, why do u act like its the God of Israel that's genuine as though u believe That is the only Rational explanation of a creator. Also why do athiest hide behind science as though the disbelief of God is related to science? were There no atheist long before science or are there no illiterate atheist?
Unfortunately I cannot answer your questions, because I am not anti-christian nor am I an atheist. I have just come to understand their way of thinking to some extent. I have the same tolerance for them as I have for people of other religious inclinations. One thing I like reminding myself of is that- Most people that were born into a religion remain in that religion. Therefore, there is no need for being sanctimonious, especially since most of us had our beliefs bestowed upon us by birth
Most atheists are critical thinkers, in fact their choice of atheism is typically a result of deep rumination. Also, most are learned and economically advanced. You would agree with me that it is difficult for poor men to be atheists; that is the reason why atheism thrives among people in advanced countries. For example, they rarely have to pray for electricity, school admission etc. Expatiating further may be misinterpreted, as some people may interpret it to promote ethnocentrism. I am not an atheist, but I have seen the pattern atheism takes.
massinola: Human rights lawyer Mr. Femi Falana (SAN) has lamented the possibility of Nigerians having to choose between current President Muhammadu Buhari and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar come 2019 general election, stating that it portends trouble for the populace.
Human rights lawyer Mr. Femi Falana (SAN) has lamented the possibility of Nigerians having to choose between current President Muhammadu Buhari and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar for the 2019 general election, stating that it portends trouble for the populace. Mr. Falana said this while making a contribution during a panel discussion at the ongoing Lagos Book and Arts Festival holding in Freedom Park, Lagos.
He urged Nigerians to make use of the internet in raising serious developmental issues as regards the future of the country.
The human right lawyer also took a swipe at Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State who he described as a ‘Trump’.
“We have a Trump in Ekiti. Somebody is going out there to eat boli with the people. Somebody who says [he believes] in stomach infrastructure, stealing all the money but giving people just some tokenism and he is being celebrated."
He decried the rot in the Nigerian university system. “Where are the intellectuals in our universities?” he asked. “We now have ‘yahoo-yahoo’ professors. People are made professors now because of where the came from. It is not about your contribution to the intellectual enterprise. Now Vice Chancellor is elected on the basis of ethnicity."
Mr. Falana also condemned spiritual leaders who are merely concerned about building a more religious home at the expense of other institutions.
“Most of the richest pastors in the world are from Nigeria, yet our people are getting poorer. If many of us had not attended mission schools built by the Catholics and the Anglicans… school and hospitals but what are we building now? What are our churches giving us? They are promising to build churches in every street. All the warehouses in Apapa built by Awolowo have all become churches and business centers.
Discuss with a trusted superior in your office, with a view towards taking an unpaid study leave. I believe that what you are going for would be beneficial to your employers. Sound out the trusted fellow to know the company policies about such before making it public knowledge. That way, its a win-win situation, because, the employers can benefit from your improved expertise and you still have a job to come back to. They might wish to put you on a bond, though. If so, then make it as short as possible, don't be desperate.
DanXplore: Please, i could use some career advice from great nairalanders. Please tag monikers that you think would be of great help, as i am at a crucial point in my career.
I am a graduate of chemcal engineering but for 2years now, have not gotten any engineering related job. The only job i got was at KPMG (audit), which i resigned after 3 months due to some personal reasons. I am currently an Area Sales Rep with a poultry feed production company that pays 183k per month (net take home after tax and other necessary deductions), though i could use up to 20 to 25k to fuel my car monthly. Now, i just got a PTDF scholarship offer to study Advanced process integration and design in UK but not really sure if it is worth ditching my current job for it.
I am not very confident about securing a job once i finish msc because only a handful of opportunities come for chemical engineers. more also,UK rarely retains Nigerians.
Please what are your advices, especially from those who have done Msc in Uk.
I need your advices, i dont want to make a costly mistake.
slimfit1: Finally someone is telling all the lazy rich women to be creative with their talents not with their virgina .
I sincerely hope that more of our leaders will begin to look inwards. Today, I listened to former governor Peter Obi talking about having only 2 pairs of black shoes and one house (which is in Onitsha) and I felt some hope for this country. He also spoke about how he spent his own security vote (which is about 12 billion naira/annum) and how past successive governments were bedeviled by sharing any money that comes with reckless abandon.
I hope that people who have made negative comments on this thread will begin to have a rethink, especially if such people still support public officials who wasted Nigeria's commonwealth.
crosbreaka: You can't know if it is true or false as a non-Muslim except you are Shia or Sunni.
It is like Pentecostal and Protestants calling Catholics idol worshippers. Or asking a Catholic about his views on Jehovah's Witness.
The Shia believe they are the true Muslims or the Muslims who have complete understanding of Islam and the Sunnah.
The Sunnis not only believe they are right, but that others too are wrong.
The point is we shouldn't be concerned with what people see as Quranic or not Quranic except if you really want a religious discussion to know the details. In that case, you should check the Islam board on nairaland. The Sunni and Shia are always having heated debates. You can even search the forum for older threads. People should be given the chance to choose.
People should really have the chance to choose. But when you have a sect whose members believe that they can close down roads and disrupt other people's activities during their procession/ festivities. then there is a problem. Note that other muslims in the north are afraid of them and they don't go near their processions. Banning them may not be the way out, but we still need to find a way to get them more tolerant
