I'd advise that you ask your Uni to send it again. My hubby's Uni had to send his own 3 times before WES finally received it. We just gotta ladys number and she kept sending it for us until they finally accepted that they have seen it. It might cost you small sha but its worth it at the end.

Hello everyone,
My wife is having issues with the evaluation of her degree certificate. She graduated from the University of Ibadan (distance learning) . The verification is being done by WES.
Her status reads "awaiting verification by your institution" for both transcript and the degree certificate. Meanwhile, the school claims to have sent emails to WES confirming the authenticity of the documents. I have called WES on her behalf and they haven't updated her status till now.
Any advice from anyone would be appreciated.

I would appreciate any tips. I have been there twice on a visiting and a clinical attached visa. I want a 2year visiting now.

My wife's is waiting for verification as well and I would like to know if one has to get in touch with WAEC somewhere along the line to alert them.

But school have replied since 5th of this month and Weeks yet to receive it, does the school usually respond via EMS? Please someone should help.

Have you been able to sort it out?

How many weeks did it take eventually, if you have gotten a resolution ?

I resolved the verification issue by faxing a copy of the email to WES. It was acknowledged in less than 24 hours.

All u need to do is send your certificate,ID and any other docs u deem necessary, in my case, I sent change of name docs to the email given while you ask your school to send your transcript via official email to them quoting the reference no u will be given at some point as subject. It used to take about 7weeks from the day u register.

The transcript has to be uploaded from the school's official email and not generic emails like yahoo, gmail.etc otherwise, it will not be accepted. Meaning, your school will be the one to send it by email. At least from what i gathered on their website.

Asides the transcript that is to be sent by the school, they also requested that a client should upload one. Considering that transcripts are not normally handled by individuals, I hope they overlook this and accept the one sent from my University.
I understand they can also send it by surface mail as well .
I am already working on that.

They require me to upload a copy of my transcript, which is not easily obtained by hand in my school. I hope they will waive it.

I am planning to go ahead with the payment anyway, then wait for their response. If they really need it, I expect they will let me know.
