Hello, Nairalanders,

I'm really confused on the issue of paying tithe. Its my first job at 22. I'm a very religious person and that's why I need to sample opinions if I only have to pay tithe in Church.

I know a particular guy who runs an NGO that pays the fees of school kids from poor homes. I offered to sponsor this humanitarian venture. The funds I plan to put into it will be my monthly tithe.

Simple meaning: I will not pay tithe in church. Rather I'll take the exact 10% and support this guy.

Is it proper? Should I only pay tithe in church? Please advise maturely.

All these are signs of insecurity, while i am not in support of his attitudes, have you also taken your time to have a tête-à-tête with him, have you tried to understand your man's love language? Men can be really funny at times and you will be surprised at your findings when you have a heart-to-heart convo with him.



You are the one in the relationship, you know where the shoe pinches, you are the one that will say "I do forever" to the guy in question, so put aside what your family members will think or say. But, trust me my dear, the grass is not always greener on the other side, your relationship with him still has a very good chance of survival.


After all said and done, we can only but proffer advise, the final decision lies in your hands, BE WISE MY SISTER!!!

I do not envy his success ooo neither is this a challenge to me.. Given that I graduated some 7 months ago in the best federal university in nigeria..

But I am tempted to ask.. Is Lasu's school fees now so cheap for a security man to afford or his security man dad earns a fat paycheck??
