Americans may have indeed voted for Trump. Nevertheless, God did pick Trump for such a time as this. undecided
If your argument is God chose him in order to humiliate him and teach him and America a lesson, then maybe, but it didn't need to be at the expense of so many who have died under his incompetent watch.

Well, since God is a sovereign God, nothing happens without His permitting it to happen. And He is indeed able to influence people's thinking in order to get His WIll accomplished too. undecided

Now of course that in no way means He is responsible for all that happens. undecided
A God that permits things to happen is responsible for things that happen if those things could not have happened without the God permitting it. Still does not mean God did those things that happened, or we'd be right to accuse God of murder of babies, for instance, and for when I rob a bank, and for Adam and Eve eating the forbidden fruit. One would have to wonder why such a God would punish one for one's sins.

God did not vote for Trump. American voters did.

Well yes, but that does not stop it either from being a God move. grin
That presumption would make every move a God move, including those that involve killings like Hitler's and Pol Pot's, which might make many want to bash God's head in so it can't move no more.

Humans have much more influence than you give us credit for, is what I think. We don't need God to fuq up for us because we are more than capable of fuqing up all by ourselves.

Does that mean God co-signed any of what he, Trump, has done? HECK NO!
He was elected, last time I checked, by the electorate and not by God.

Of course I never deny the good side of Muhammad. But it's good to note that he goodness is more towards Muslim (quran even state this fact).

The point I'm stressing is that he's not a Saint. He has good side and bad side.

Too many evidence, do check some of my threads. If I have time, I will post more
No one is saying he was a saint, but that's no reason to misrepresent him as op has rather ignorantly done.

Xmuslim:
If you want to know Muhammad, read hadith and Islamic history. You can't know Muhammad from the Qur'an.

No Muslim (except quraniyun) will debunk any of the characteristics listed by the OP. Muhammad was a warlord. Read hadith and come back to correct your assumptions about Muhammad. Infact, what he listed are tips of the iceberg. If I should open up the sea regarding Muhammad atrocities, you will immediately stop calling him a prophet.

Even some western Muslims are ashamed of Muhammad and they're trying to discard many authentic hadeeths.
I have read hadiths. He may have been a warlord, but there is a lot more to him than that, and only those who focus on tiny bits won't see that.

Do post some hadiths to prove your point though. You know we love evidence instead of assertions.

You don't even know anything about Islam, Islam teaches Messianism (the second coming of Jesus).
Messianism is not just about "the second coming of Jesus", but about the salvation brought about by his second coming, which is not promised in Islam, but since you show no basic understanding of Islam I can't expect you to understand that.

Prophets call themselves Prophet. So if someone as mentioned in the OP appear today that he's a Prophet would you follow him?

No tingz. Islam does not teach messianism. Islam teaches self salvation, so I will not waste my time telling you anything of the sort.

You will go pick up your Quran and read it to understand if you really want to know. You must do the work to get the gains is the lesson being taught with "neverland".

Everything listed was what you believe Muhammad did because you lack understanding.
Islam › Re: Would You Follow Someone Like Prophet Muhammad If He Appears Today? by budaatum: 3:47pm On Jul 08, 2020
tintingz:
Questions,

1. Point out the misunderstanding of Prophet Muhammad in the listed?
All of them are a misunderstanding of the teachings of tge Prophet Muhammad, and if you really want to know, I suggest you go read your Quran, after removing the ignorant bias that appears to blind you to understanding.

tintingz:
2. How did you know such similar Prophet cannot appear today? Atleast Most Prophets have same theme.
I do not know where you listen to your prophets that have "same theme" or any prophets at all to be honest, but in my own opinion, it is very unlikely that anyone with a brain in their heads would call anyone with "same theme", a prophet, so, I strongly suggest you change prophets or change brains.

tintingz:
3. You can clearly see I was using modern illustrations. Or you didn't see that?
Your "modern illustrations" show a lack of understanding of the original teachings of the Prophet Muhammed.

tintingz:
4. Does God work with time? If so, why isn't the Qur'an and Muslims beliefs updated?
Listen to your ignorance! Did not the second day follow the first and the sabbath come after the sixth day?

Are the "Qur'an and Muslims beliefs" God?
Islam › Re: Would You Follow Someone Like Prophet Muhammad If He Appears Today? by budaatum: 3:34pm On Jul 08, 2020
tintingz:
I simply asked questions.
No you didn't!

You set up some straw man then began an ad hominem attack against your own straw.

The Straw Man (also "The Straw Person" ""The Straw Figure" ) : The fallacy of setting up a phony, weak, extreme or ridiculous parody of an opponent's argument and then proceeding to knock it down or reduce it to absurdity with a rhetorical wave of the hand. E.g., "Vegetarians say animals have feelings like you and me. Ever seen a cow laugh at a Shakespeare comedy? Vegetarianism is nonsense!" Or, "Pro-choicers hate babies and want to kill them!" Or, "Pro-lifers hate women and want them to spend their lives barefoot, pregnant and chained to the kitchen stove!" A too-common example of this fallacy is that of highlighting the most absurd, offensive, silly or violent examples in a mass movement or demonstration, e.g. "Tree huggers" for environmentalists, "bra burners" for feminists, or "rioters" when there are a dozen violent crazies in a peaceful, disciplined demonstration of thousands or tens of thousands, and then falsely portraying these extreme examples as typical of the entire movement in order to condemn it with a wave of the hand. See also Olfactory Rhetoric.

Be sincere, will you believe in such Prophet? If yes why, if no why?
I am amused how you failed to see that the 11 points you state above are what you believe about the Prophet Muhammad. Your misrepresentation shows you lack understanding.

Then you amuse me more by assuming the Prophet Muhammad who appears today will be like the Prophet Muhammad whom you believe appeared in the past, which shows you lack an understanding of time.

Then you ask if we would willingly forget all we have learned since the Prophet Mohammed appeared in the past and become like the people of the past; asking, basically, if we would deevolve.

We are not people of the past, tingz. The people of the past had much less knowledge than we have today and we have evolved in thought too, and a Prophet Muhammad of today would have had to also evolve to be any sort of Prophet at all and will not be like the Prophet Muhammad of the past, and if you bothered to scientifically use your own senses and evolve in understanding you will not misrepresent the Prophet Muhammad as you have in your false claims above.

I just think it is counterproductive. Nobody suggested I become an atheist, I took good hard unfiltered look at what I believed versus reality and that was enough to uncover the falsity of my beliefs. I don't know if that is sufficient for someone else but it was for me.
You need to learn what happened here. I would say Jesus spit was spat on the ground and the mud was rubbed in your eyes then you bathed in the Pool of Siloam and can see.

I'm so tempted to say, "now go and do likewise", my Lord, but you cannot see yet because you have not yet bathed in the pool.
