Dtruthspeaker:Can you not read, or is it that you just can not understand what you read? First Adam was employed as a naked ignorant gardener. Eve was dissatisfied with his pay. She encouraged Adam to take more pay. Then God terminated his employment. What termination was given him already when? |
bayelsaowei:That dump is playing us with religion and we are sadly falling for it! More Muslims have been killed in Northern Nigeria than Christians. |
feedthenation:---Previous political parties and administrations have really failed in protecting the Nigerians in the Northern parts of Nigeria--- |
Now, where can I watch this in telly please? |
I'd probably tell the same lie if I was pro facism.
|
ElSudani:I'd go further and argue this dump is trying to divide us and make us poorer. For that will be the result of him interfering in our affairs. Just go see Libya today. https://moderndiplomacy.eu/2025/01/05/we-came-we-saw-we-failed-libyas-descent-into-the-flintstone-age/

Kukutente23:How can I possibly mean Christians are not being killed in the North? I've rephrased what you said because it is debatable that those doing the killings are Muslims. See here https://www.nairaland.com/8552048/us-state-departments-designated-countries/3#137322936 My point is, more Muslims are being killed in the North than Christians, by terrorists who are not Muslims. Have you seen Muslims killing Christians in the South of Nigeria? |
LordReed:Speculations accepted. I however want to argue against your, "Not all all biological life has motive and intent". My position is all biological life has the intent to avoid death and continue living, barring those that commit suicide of course, which I'd place under the exception, as in pertaining to the few. This intent then is motive, as in, biological life is motivated to do whatever fulfils the intent to prolong its life. I think all lifeforms have this motive and intent or they wouldn't have life. Basically, if I don't have the prolongation of my life as a motive, I wouldn't intend to get out of bed every morning. And unless someone else provides this intent and motive on my behalf, I'd pretty soon become a non-life. What you think? |
LordReed:But will it have its own motive and intent, two things biological life definitely have? I mean, a car moves and responds to its environment, and it excretes through its exhaust, though it can't reproduce, but it can grow if I attach a tow cart to it. So is the car artificially alive? Give me examples so I can understand please. |
basilico:If he was threatening to attack boko haram or iswap in Nigeria I might delight, though I wouldn't really because he'd just screw it up. But we both know he's pitting this as Muslims against Christians, or at least small mindeds like you will term it that way even though more Muslims are being killed by boko haram and Iswap than Christians. |
TheGift:You are very gifted with a brain. And you use it well. Thank you. I am an atheist. |
Kukutente23:One should attack it, because many Nigerians here are reading it as Muslims are killing Christians, which any one with a brain will know is untrue. Unfortunately, when it comes to religious and tribal bigotry, brains are few. |
basilico:And there was me thinking you'd be celebrating the stupîdity below more.
|
CaptainJune:I think you don't get me. If a God tells me not to eat fruits of knowledge I'll tell that God to go do one and I'd go get a better knowledge loving God. Now, tell me how illogical I am in your own opinion. I'd like to hear it.
|
kpankpangolo:I have a suggestion. Stop buying data for me! |
Paul has given a good response to this. "When I was a child", he said, "I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things". He did not include the word "belief", but I very much doubt he'd advice me to hold on to the childish beliefs I had as a child. Come to think of it, Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” And I think being born again involves the abandonment of old believes and adopting new and better ones. What say ye? |
LordReed:This is why I agree with deepsight on this issue, my Lord. You need to define what this artificial life is, and show how it differs to the biological life we all know. |
DeepSight:Permit me to add motive and intent to your definition. A machine does not have those two things, apart from that given it by it's inventor, while humans have the free will to determine their own intents and motive. For example. I can choose to murder you, but a machine can not independently choose to murder you. |
Sheuns:USA does that, but I'd argue the current administration is not serious.
|
RevenuesBoost:I could argue that ₦300 pap is expensive. Why not buy maize and make one's own pap? It would make each portion cheaper than ₦300. And if you buy beans and make your own moi moi too, each portion will be cheaper too. You rich or you lazy or you want me to earn less than minimum wage, is why you want to pay someone else less to make those things for you. And that's just not fair! |
GrammarNazi1:Nigeria needs to protect Nigerians! |
True. With wisdom, which comes through knowledge, humans can miraculously replace dodgy hearts. In fact, most know wisdom is much better. That's why they go to the doctor after their prayers for miracles have failed. Unfortunately, most waste time seeking miracles, and are too late to seek the advice of the wise. For information, those who were told to rule and subdue and multiply and be blessed were told to eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, which Eve found was good for gaining wisdom. You can't rule and subdue and multiply and be blessed if you think that fruit will kill you. |
madridguy:No, I don't agree it is real! https://www.nairaland.com/8552303/tinubu-govt.replies-trump#137319326 |
mrvitalis:That's the plan, it seems. |
It sounds like US wants to divide us. They doing the same to South Africa, except their's is about race. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c1e3de5ny14o Anyone who wants to argue more Christians are murdered in the North than the majority Muslims who live there should consider the following: https://www.nairaland.com/8531488/muslim-genocide-northern-nigeria#136993143
|
You sure you aren't reaping what you sow? Because it sounds like most ladies are rude to you and you think they are therefore rude to everyone. |
Looks like a plan to kill off small traders so conglomerates can take over. Instead of petty traders large, large stores will take over because they are easier to tax and easier to lend to. Not good for many but some might like it. My grandma will be one of the former. |
Now, why do I support Tinubu's tariffs? https://nairametrics.com/2025/10/31/presidency-says-15-import-duty-on-petrol-will-favour-local-refineries-moderate-prices/
|
richmond500:I am afraid I can not help but agree with you, and it saddens me that many Nigerians will fall for this supposed killing of Christians when all evidence shows Muslims are killed more in the North. https://www.nairaland.com/8531488/muslim-genocide-northern-nigeria#136993143 But then, we fall for tribalism, so why would some not use religion to divide us. I just wish we were smarter, and I am glad you exist. And before anyone calls me a terrorist, I am an atheist too. |
Dtruthspeaker:Of course Adam was employed before. See his employment contract below: The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. And see his pay: And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.” But know that being employed by someone is very different to being self employed, which is what Adam had to go do after God had fired him from his naked slavery job with the termination letter below. By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken: for dust you are and to dust you will return.” Come to think of it. That termination letter makes me think Adam was always intended to live for a limited time and then die, since "for dust you will return". |
basilico:You must think this is the reason I hardly read your gibberïsh, except I'm not teaching you grammar at all because you are not worth the time nor effort. Thanks for the compliment though, for pointing out my comprehension abilities. It should make you want to be more coherent I hope, though I wouldn't dare hold my breath. |
