Answer these simple questions.

Is being a current member of the faculty of MIT a prerequisite for inventing email?

Where does 'V.A. Shiva Ayyadurai is not a member of the MIT faculty..." fit into the discussion?

Lets assume that you werent trying to pull a fast one, by attempting to misinform the reader, what is the reason to bring that up?

I spotted what you did instantly.
Please see where the post you quoted, which is true, came from.

No, whether "V.A. Shiva Ayyadurai is a member of the MIT faculty" is not a "prerequisite for inventing email", and I am not offering it as one. It just so turns out that V.A. Shiva Ayyadurai is not a member of the MIT faculty and he did not invent email, and claiming he is/was a Member of MIT is just another lie, which goes to the credibility of whoever he says he was and whatever you claim he invented or "re-invented".

Nairaland General › Re: Re-inventor Of EMAIL Challenge. by budaatum: 1:56pm On Apr 14, 2020
Amujale:
If it is irrelevant to the discussion, why is it highlighted?

Highlighting something suggest that there's something we ought to be taking from it, or something that we ought not to miss.

....
You highlighted it. And unfortunately for you it turns out I am right that Shiva Ayyadurai is not a Member of MIT as you can see for yourself, he is not on the list of Members of MIT and I doubt he ever was a Member.

But despite my being right, I still maintain it is irrelevant to the discussion at hand, despite your foiled attempts to make it the point.

Still can't work out why you went from Shiva invented email, to he "re-invented email" according to your thread topic. Were you being "disingenuous" or just "playing with words"?
Nairaland General › Re: Re-inventor Of EMAIL Challenge. by budaatum: 1:48pm On Apr 14, 2020
Amujale:
It is disingenuous butum.

I know exactly what you did there, a play of words.

Anyway, we are waiting for your evidence.
Play of words, amu? You really are funny.

As for evidence, I'm finding I do not need to waste my time with your assertions, yet, since you have not convinced anyone, yet.

Do let me know when that changes.

Yet, you still haven't taken down that slanderous quote:
You clearly have an understanding problem amu, which you ought to resolve, because "attending MIT" does not apparently make one a "Member of MIT". But in case I'm wrong, please show me Shiva's name on the published list of Members.

https://corporation.mit.edu/membership/all-members

Do note however that whether he is a Member of MIT or not is irrelevant to this conversation which is about your claim he invented email.

And as I said when this began, what you are posting as evidence is the same as posting Genesis as evidence God created the heavens and earth.

Do let me know when you convince anyone.

So, we seem to have identified what our problem is. Instead of learning worthwhile life enhancing subjects, we've learnt how to be fools.

I wonder what you'd make of this thread.

I really expected the opposite going by your record here, like you would claim endtimes and raptures and the likes. I suppose you too have seen that Covid19 does not care about righteousness or which God one calls on or how, but on whether one applies godliness (Wisdom and Knowledge), which we shall be measuring by the number of infections and deaths per 1000 for every nation when this ends.

I say again, respect! May the Lord continue to endow you with godliness.

I was perplexed to hear or robberies within Lagos areas like Agege, Yana paja, etc. People call out the police for not responding proactively. We all know the hand or the police may be understaneably full, considering their understaffed nature.

So, its expected that Amotekun will fill the void and complement police roles which our conventional police has not been able to carry out.
While some people are calling out police, whom, as you say, hands may be full at the moment, read here how smart responsible nereushouse is amotekunising in his neighborhood.

Finally Nigerians, there you have it. Nigeria have no capacity to be going from house to house treating or taking people to isolation centres or hospitals.

Let's stay home and safe.
You'd think Nigerians would know this already, but apparently, there's some Nigerians with their heads in the sand who think otherwise.

I'm certain you know that even if he was not testing and was infected, Nigeria still would not care.

But hey. Why don't you come shut me up, you supposedly unfailed mofo who thinks Nigeria gives a fuq about you?

Asking them to test negative is a step in the right direction no matter how you look at it.

But asking them to go and get it done gross incompetency from Buhari led government.

Nigerian government can get her citizens who wants to be evacuated tested via our embassy as testing in most of those countries is not a herculean task as it is in Nigeria.

I don't think payment for the travel is the problem here. Its Nigerian government with her lackadaisical attitude.

I really pity that travelled for just a week business who got trapped for like 3 months now, how is it their fault?
I wonder if you've ever been to any of our embassies. Ordinary passports and visas, the mainstay of any embassy, Nigerian embassies struggle, but you think they can test for Covid-19 in those same embassies?

I think our problem is the inability to fully recognise how far behind Nigeria actually is! If we recognised how far behind we are we might insist on making our nation better.

Bro everyone is putting a timeframe to it with a clause for possible extension ..things are don this way to ease tension associated with uncertainty . You can't tell people you don't know when possible hope will come it's a recipe for anarchy
Everyone is not putting a timeframe. Those places you mentioned did not put those dates out when they were at the early stage that we are at, and are only putting tentative timeframes after weeks of combating the virus and after the scientific evidence suggests they might be able to.

UK is still in indefinite no timeframe stay in your house lockdown unless you need to buy food! In fact, they are almost threatening to fine people they find on the streets.

. Last week I told an army officer who was with a police officer that palative measures is a right of every citizens during Quarantine. He was shock. I have to Google our law for him. We have been taken for a ride a long time ago. I advise you move to where your service is needed and where government work.
What do you mean by "palliative measures is a right of every citizens during Quarantine"? Who dash you those rights? Have you fought for the right to have those rights or do you think they will fall upon you from the merciful throne of God in heaven?
