Politics › Re: Opinion Poll:Why Had Northern Nigeria Remained Poor by budaatum: 1:30pm On Apr 16, 2020
They've remained poor because of lack of education.

The poor are doped with a religion most can't read the book of and understand, or approach God directly, as some say, so can't use the knowledge therein to emancipate themselves from those who can read the book and use its knowledge to oppress them. It's similar to what was done in medieval Europe when the book was kept in a language the poor couldn't read so the rich could get richer.

Some would claim its happening all over the world, that some are kept poor so some can get wealthier. Kind of like slave trading actually. Some locals had to capture the slaves and sell them. It's also tithe related. Why give money to a wealthy mog when one can put Logos in one's life by buying a book and enriching oneself?

The solution of course is education. But 'they' know this, hence, boko haram, and inadequate funding of the education system, and making you believe that "On the day thou eat thou shalt die", despite all evidence showing "You did certainly not die,” but your eyes opened, and you at least now "know good and evil.”

It's changing though. Those poor will run down South where we can send their asses to school or allow them to terrorise, because, as we say in my backyard, ti ara ile ẹni ba njẹ kokoro buruku ti a ko ba kilọ fun, kurukẹrẹ rẹ ko ni jẹ ki a sun loru. (If your neighbour is eating bad insects, you should caution them, or your sleep will be disturbed at night).

Politics › Re: Do We Need A Female President ? by budaatum: 1:02pm On Apr 16, 2020
Yes, we do. And she will make a difference, though I would not go for those two you named.

Women are mothers. They have experience of nurturing life in their wombs and nourishing it with their tits so they have compassion and a greater desire for their offspring to flourish, which would be good for Nigeria. Besides, the men haven't exactly done a great job being President so we can't exactly do worse.

kikero:
This should be in the education section...

But for simplicity sake

England: a constituent country of the United Kingdom

The United Kingdom: a kingdom made up of four countries : England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland(aka Ulster).(Also includes the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands)

[s]Great Britain : alternate name for the United Kingdom.[/s]

The British Isles: the United kingdom plus Northern Ireland.
Great Britain - England, Scotland and Wales.
It is United Kingdom minus Northern Ireland etc.

Fulani herdsmen prefer the south because of the greenery of the environment and not because they were running away from cow thieves.
Why do you think they kill and sack southern communities and occupy their lands?
Shows how little you want to admit in order to maintain your prejudice.

There is enough greenery in the North for their cattle. They come South to save them from boko haram, but this narative is not the one they tell you, that herdsmen are someone's victim.

If Obama sent relief cheques to Americans, even without his name on, most Americans will accuse him of socialism, as they rightly ought to. No one would send it back though

CodeTemplar:
You are taking my question as a definition and that not what it is. I was only asking when I listed those things I bold in your post. The question still stands anyway. What should a true religion do.
You are right, buda guilty. I was bookmarking. They were very intelligent questions that required thought and reflection, and I had to make sure I am reminded, as you just done, so now, let me.

CodeTemplar:
What are the things a religion should do in man's life to show that man has found the right religion?
A religion is right when it fulfills one's needs.

CodeTemplar:
Should it be effortless wealth, health, or brilliance like in the garden of eden in the Holy Bible, or fame, good job, love, charity, generousity or to grow old and have seeds ?
If the things listed are ones needs then yes. However, and since religion is imposed - as in, religious people receive their religion from a giver - and because you never have one religious person, the religion givers' goals are that we all evolve, which in a sense is all those things you listed and more. Essentially, any religion that helps accomplish evolution is the only right religion.

Then quietly leave my thread, I can see u are either same person as the idiot or that u are just an unserious person, otherwise u won't come here and be asking me silly questions. Where were u when he was busy accusing people falsely? Did u bother to caution him? If truly u went through his profile then how come u didn't see where he went about accusing different people and perhaps call his attention to it since u claim to be a CID officer.
It is obvious you are definitely an unserious person who does not bother to do his research before making accusations.

I went through the accused threads on his profile and found not one thread where he has accused another like unserious you has done!

Bwahahahahaha! I was a Christian when this thread launched but even then I could see all the strawmen the OP contained.
I was an atheist and shook my head and moved on. Many of the time caricatured others in such a way that just showed how ignorant they were.
Now both sides are just blinded by a book. We have definitely evolved.

It is not false dear, go through his profile and see him accusing a lot of people of same crime, that they scammed him, how can so many people scam u of same amount? Think about this. And the one that beats me is that I almost fell for his scam, cos I was among his sympathisers initially until I almost got scammed by him. Please go through his profile I cannot come here to say things that I am 100% sure about.
You make an accusation but can't bother to post evidence for it and want me work to prove what you created a thread to proclaim and because you are "100% sure", I must believe you? Are you one of those moGs who thinks buda sheepish?

All the same, I went through his profile, no fraud there. Evidence please!

Do note that if this is false I plan to campaign to have you banned!

After thorough investigations and tracking I am pleased to inform nairalanders that they should beware of this moniker called 'WildChild00', he is a crook. His modus operandi is simply by harassing and accusing innocent nairalanders falsely thereby attracting sympathies from other unsuspecting nairalanders. He would lie to nairalanders that so so person scammed him (usually 25k) in the course of transacting a business, if u fall, u will be tempted to ask him what nature of business that was, he would introduce a bit to you and request that u talk offline. This offline is where he perfects all his criminal acts, telling you the business involves registering with a particular sum of money and other rubbish he would add. Beware, he claims to know IT as well, but please don't give ears to all the rubbish he may tell you. WildChild00 is a thief, pls beware!, go through his profile and see for ursef.
lalasticlala, Mynd44, Ishilove pls move to front page and please place a ban on this moniker.
