I had to check. The current top five most infected states are led by Democrats. Massachusetts, the sixth, is run by a Republican. https://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/obamacare-s-health-care-protections-face-first-true-test-coronavirus-n1176231

LordReed:There is no social order that has no "stratification with all its attendant problems" my Lord. Friends fight, families too as do tribes, and scientists, it's afterall how humans resolve difference and create interrelated social structure, which is what "social order" is despite your veiled attempt to make it seem otherwise! It is a pity evolution is slow but imagine no religion in the human dna. I bet "attendant problems" would have decimated more people than many claim religion has. LordReed:As a wise person is written to have once said, "those with ears hear". Just that to hear is as camels in a needles eye. Here's some reading. I resisted pointing bits out. https://philosophynow.org/issues/137/Our_Nietzschean_Future

Agboriotejoye:World Bank and IMF are the lenders of last resort. The ones you go to borrow from after everyone else refuses to lend to you! https://www.thebalance.com/u-s-debt-to-china-how-much-does-it-own-3306355

0m0nnakoda:I find it amusing when people say I do not understand. That, "paper" you say America sells is bought by people who earn interest on it so it sounds like debt to me. Besides, isn't that "paper" precisely how US government funds it's deficit, "$1.08 trillion to Mainland China", on which interest is paid, in dollars? The guarantee of US paper, as little as it seems, is backed by tax money - people's sweat, I might call it if I were to be crude - and that seems solid at the moment considering current debt and while US is borrowing more that it has ever borrowed, so interest payments may rise soon. Besides, China always plays the long game. But I ramble. America may borrow in dollars, but they still have to pay those dollars back, somehow. |
AmericanPecan:Of course we can see that day. Just let us know when you plant a tree. |
LordReed:My Lord! Are you suggesting "social order". Are you aware it is a functuon of, in order, blood ties, ideology sharing, areahood (tribe, race, proximity etc), humanity, or perhaps, maturity? A sub-section under ideology is, religion, as in, "similar shared views". Its greater function however, is the part it plays in the "struggle for existence" by the creation of a "social order", or, perhaps more accurately, something that orders people into a society. Unfortunately, though "wisdom (of its time) calls aloud, raising her voice in the public square; and on top of the wall she cries out and at the city gate she makes her speech", "the world did not recognize him". (And yes do note the she and him). Have you ever wondered why 12 disciples, my Lord? I can't but wonder if it wouldn't be truer to say, "the healer summons to cooperate". |
The Paycheck Protection Program is a loan designed to provide a direct incentive for small businesses to keep their workers on the payroll. SBA will forgive loans if all employees are kept on the payroll for eight weeks and the money is used for payroll, rent, mortgage interest, or utilities. You can apply through any existing SBA 7(a) lender or through any federally insured depository institution, federally insured credit union, and Farm Credit System institution that is participating. Other regulated lenders will be available to make these loans once they are approved and enrolled in the program. You should consult with your local lender as to whether it is participating in the program. Lenders may begin processing loan applications as soon as April 3, 2020. The Paycheck Protection Program will be available through June 30, 2020. More info - https://www.sba.gov/funding-programs/loans/coronavirus-relief-options/paycheck-protection-program-ppp

Maximus69:You can't let sleeping dogs lie, Max. You can't resist sticking your boot in so its odd for you to suggest one do what you can't. I asked a question. "Has Coronaovirus Taken From You?" It was in no way a request for anyone to give me anything, though I am grateful to everyone who gave their unexpected kind words. |
frosbel2:I'm right in the centre, compared. Old Kent Road. Only Christmas is deader! |
Maximus69:I think you might have missed the point. I was suggesting, to you, in case you were not quite aware what you were doing. But as I am aware, you are not a CW, so, please carry on.

faceland:No autopsy. Showed symptoms. And the family don't believe in isolation I'm being told. You are right though. "NOT COVID-19 that killed him". And thank you for bringing us back on topic. It was ignorance that killed him. He fell ill. Told no one. Family fell on their knees praying. And he died. Might I leave it to you to "relate to this", please? |
Maximus69:I guess you must have a unique definition of "interesting question". No one has a domain here, Max. If people did, you'd remain in your's, unless you mean only others should and not you. Besides, aren't you here asking people to abandon their domain and join your domain? Are you fishing for JW Max?
