Goldmaxx: I have a feeling he's been undermined. Dems might rue their choice. Something is wrong somewhere. How do we explain a high surge of energy and then a sudden decline? If Covid-19 had struck 2 months ago, Sanders would be winning today as opposition to the bailout rises. Then, socialism was not selling. It sounded more like communism, or was easily spun to seem like it was, and lost support. How afraid America was of the Socialism Revolution is indicated in their choice of Biden who would need a black swan to beat Trump. Now, perhaps too late, the Revolution might be beginning. Hear even wowcatty socialising the Fed! |

wowcatty: Trump is setting up a whole new financial system as pre fed and backed by gold, not the current one that is all about debts. Wow! You seriously believe this? I don't think you know who's putting chains of debt around your neck. You, like most, don't even see the debt as a chain around US tax payers necks; alas, hear yourself claiming the "13 bloodlines own it and 98% of central banks in the world are owned by the same people" you Republicans claim the Dems want to socialise their wealth, "will all collapse" and "the entire US debt will go with the Fed". Are you admitting the Dems will succeed and socialise or you just being incoherent as usual? |

vaxx: Nigeria is not a zoo.....pls stop painting my father land black......it is we the individual that are turning against the fundamental law of God(love)....
Who religion don EPP?
Religion don help the world as a society....some of the first societies to arise were based solely around a common religion. Without religion, it would have been extremely unlikely for humans to find any cultural common ground. Most early tribal peoples would have driven each other to extinction based on the belief that one group must be superior than the other. Religion provided the belief that humans are under a deity, and therefore equal (In the case of most religions).
Religion don help nigeria greatly...many benefits in our society exist today due to prevalent of religion...it provides a sense of unity for communities and most religions provide charity services at no expense to the state or the tax payer. Churches, Mosques, temple, and other forms of voluntary institutions are simply more able to provide aid to those in need than individuals or governments. |

FOLYKAZE: 'the people who run some of them' are the church, the Shephard, not to be mistaken they are the ones Jesus handled the ministration to, with the direction to led their flocks. Not true. The "church, the Shephard" are mostly self appointed individuals who claim Jesus handed the ministry to, when the truth is, Jesus handed the ministry to the individual. Takes some to see it, but that's why everyone must bear their own cross. FOLYKAZE: Not really sir/ma
Earliest schools were pagan temples, scattered around Africa, and people world all over were attracted to knowledge about the world. Religious pagan temples? People attracted from all over the world? You said this before but provided no evidence to justify it and still haven't. Whatever education we may have had were no different to the religious education taught everywhere else but you are romanticising it into something it wasn't. There was no mass education like religion provides in the days you speak of. FOLYKAZE: The basic knowledge of today in chemistry, physics, medicine, astrology, agriculture, philosophy and mathematics have it root in paganism, without any relationship with Christianity like you posit. The Jew will tell you its in their pagan roots and the European would tell you the same thing. Evolution is the precise reason that education has split into "chemistry, physics, medicine, astrology, agriculture, philosophy and mathematics", and only those who wish to de-evolve would want to go back to basic pagan education. FOLYKAZE: I doubt the God nor the Bible evolved. There is still burning furnace for sinners. God is ever a sadist having no bearing in reality of today Most here are claiming there is no God, so I wonder which God you are accusing of being a sadist "still burning furnace for sinners", when the truth is, you don't know if God exists, not to talk of if it has a furnace or not apart from what you read in a book. Stories in books do not evolve, Foly, it is humans that should evolve their understanding, and thankfully, we always do, barring Max who still quotes "exterminate", but we cannot all understand equally, I guess.. |

FOLYKAZE: The blame went beyond church and Joshua, it stops at the able of God, the omniscient, who should know all before it began to the very end. This God revealed to Joshua that Sun revolved round the earth. It also revealed to the church that apostates and witches should be killed. Such omniscient being should have known everything, beyond it's evolution You are in error. Instead of realising you have read what some say about God, you seem to think you read God's own account of God's actions. Its a common error, but a grave one which I can only hope you evolve away from. I'm certain you would not make the same error if I told you God told me you will evolve.

Christianity Etc › Re: The Non-Christian Chatbox ( sticky ) by budaatum: 5:20pm On Mar 26, 2020 |
LordReed: Clarifying thought, Christians have a "personal relationship" with a the mental construct they call god or Jesus which they have put together from bits of information from the bible and their preachers. This is why their god's attributes varies from person to person and congregation to congregation. There is no objective person they are having a relationship with, it's all in their heads. I'm wondering, is that unique to religious folks or is it not all in our heads, my Lord, one's "mental construct", I mean? Imagine those who mentally construct - their minds, I pressume - with lots of information arguing with those who eat bread alone. I think the issue might be "god or Jesus", as in what are they. But as you said, "put together from bits of information from" wherever one got it from, and its not like we all can all "construct" the same. Here's a "put together" ' before I was inclined'. It might amuse. |

Maximus69: Well we worship JEHOVAH and he asked the Israelites to EXTERMINATE any of their own people who chooses not to follow the heritage! Deuteronomy 13:6-9 Not true Max. First, here's verse 9. But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people. Note its a command, and not an "ask". But the lie is in claiming you worship Jehova when the truth is you worship a book. That said, I'm personally delighted that though I'd find it reprehensible that you'd be here attempting to "EXTERMINATE any of their own people who chooses not to follow the heritage", I'm delighted to find you don't fruitify your beliefs except in your own head or you'd be exterminating those who don't believe what you do. Did Christ not say, “The Sabbath was made to meet the needs of people, and not people to meet the requirements of the Sabbath". Do you not understand that means, 'learn from the Word', and not its, letters? Maximus69: Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Right from childhood my offspring should be thought God's sovereignty, through my heartfelt prayer to God my child will know that i depend on someone else NOT my own PERSONAL discretion!
So teaching my child what i heard from JEHOVAH is like passing over the heritage NOT my own legacy!) There is a huge assumption being made here Max. You say, "NOT my own PERSONAL discretion", and while I want to agree with you, it really is your own personal discretion especially if you allow me to pressume "PERSONAL discretion" means your own beliefs and understandings. But the bigger assumption is claiming your beliefs and understanding are what you "heard from JEHOVAH". Maximus69: So after growing up to know all these, the child can't stand up to confront me saying "There is no Jehovah" he or she may choose not to be a worshiper of JEHOVAH but i have played my own part! You'd be amazed how many have turned atheist after being "inculcated". Its called growing up and thinking for oneself, especially if the inculcation was wrong. Maximus69: Therefore when such a child is shunned, he/she will know that it's the family heritage that he/she is rejecting NOT the father's legacy. That's why you'll hear shunned JWs condemning the organization NOT their parents because they knew that their parents are the best they can have, so they'll blame the global family instead of their immediately family! Jesus did not teach "love only those who are inculcated like you", and you don't even practise such crap since we all know you do not shun those who do not believe what you do, so I must wonder why you'd be here preaching it!? An organisation that shuns someone for thinking different is more or less a cult, and parents that shun their own children do not love their own flesh and blood and reasonable people would ask if they love their neighbours or their enemies even. |
