Ofodirinwa:Not by me it isn't. I move my face upon water a lot for my daily bread. Strategic thinking is a mental or thinking process applied by an individual in the context of achieving a goal or set of goals. As a cognitive activity, it produces thought. |
If you follow budaatum you will know my rating of dump is zero. |
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. Seventy percent of the illegal weapons seized from criminals in Mexico come from your country. We do not produce these weapons, nor do we consume synthetic drugs. Tragically, it is in our country that lives are lost to the violence resulting from meeting the drug demand in yours. |
Kobojunkie:He was not "trained to compete with his boss", junkie, and his boss did definitely not train him to compete with him. Op, why don't you have the support of your boss? And is this the same business you want a girl to work for a year before pay? Rubyjade +1 |
The humans will not need to reason for them selves because AI will reason for them. So, brain sucked. In future. |

MemoriesAndMe:Physical exercise. Best! I always wish I were a Muslim just for the exercise during prayer, and the reflection. The regularly exercise alone would have benefited my bones now, but critical thinking put paid, I suppose. |
EbiJUNIRO:And lots more, say some. Learning to play chess as a child enhances all kinds of cognitive attributes—concentration, memory, logic, critical thinking and problem solving—in the developing brain, as multiple studies show. Indeed, many historians of chess believe the game was invented to help the children of Indian rulers to become strategic thinkers and capable leaders. |
Omoawoke:Brain is not a natural gift. Though true, "not everyone can have equal IQ. A child who's pregnant mother sang abcdefgh and 12345678 to her fat belly might likely be developing her own child to have a higher IQ than the child who's mother didn't, I'd think, though I agree that might be a bit too "over stress" for some. https://bpr.studentorg.berkeley.edu/2024/01/29/not-my-child-parental-pressure-on-teachers-in-south-korea/ |

timizeus:Dem de even send dem own plane to collect I hear. The foreign ministry said Monday that a Colombian Air Force plane would leave Bogota in the afternoon for the US city of San Diego, to repatriate 110 Colombians.

I am not promoting chess in school because we want the children to become chess champions only, because the ones that can’t become chess champions can use the benefit of discipline to their brains and their minds to go into so many things and the cruise is endless. People are able to take endless decisions because in every stage people need to be analytical and also is in every stage people need to be critical like can we do this thing in this way or in another way so we can have the better results? Managing it so we can have the best result, as you know chess make people to sit down and be strategizing like in real life situations.https://www.nairaland.com/8328128/crime-against-chess-nigeria#133899480 |
Confession! I do play chess all day, and I'm currently playing 12 games. The oldest started 19-Dec-24 is below, and as you might note, I'm no genius.
|
emmy512:Another good game. The fact these games pull families together is good in itself, and all games similar should he considered for variety, and a healthy family development, I dare add as an opinion. |
GanagiBitrus:If we, adults, parents, spend hours playing anything, do you think we'd have time to dignify our selves discussing with you here or doing all the dignifying things we do to feed and educate our children, or is it that you think we are training you to be an idle genius perhaps? Base your opinion on reason please, and reading too, since the thread topic mentions "Children's Education". No one is suggesting anyone teach their child to be genius playing idle traders in the market or anywhere! |
You'd get why crime if you read my ignorant naked Adam, and you'd help fight it. OA: Our major challenge is the attitude that has been put toward chess in Oyo, you know before Chess Heights came to Oyo state, some people thought if they are not the ones organizing a tournament, then the tournament should not be organized. We thought it should be made open. Some people felt that they owned the monopoly of chess in Oyo state before Chess Heights came and we did not think it was proper, and then they don’t have so much coverage in the geographical space in the city of Ibadan alone not to talk about the massive Oyo State. Someone to just be organizing in one corner of Ibadan and think he will be the alpha and omega of chess I don’t think that is proper. This happens in your backyard too, and likely in everything. |
fitinwell:We ancient people, lol. |
Okpollo:No one who plays chess will count his opinion that's for sure, but let me tell him. GanagiBitrus, I don't count your opinion. There. |
SmartyPants:I would have thought "behavioural attributes like patience, thinking ahead, risk management, and so on" would make one not play chess all day and turn into a genius with behavioural intelligence. Regardless, below is Gukesh Dommaraju agreeing with you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3YdAfr3Qm3U?si=xrca_VzHe-Ew4-c6 But no one is suggesting any one play chess or do maths all day, because, even if you want to be a genius you still got to take time out to work so you can eat, so below is some food. According to sociocultural theory of child development of Vygotsky (1978), human learning is primarily a social process and the initiation of human intelligence takes place in society or culture. Vygotsky (1978) considers that cultural development (as opposed to natural development) is associated with language and reasoning capability.Tasty? |
Niceguy4ever:10. To start with. At how much? |
"Abolishing the debt limit", means, unlimited borrowing, which in dollar terms is unlimited printing, which ends up in Weimar. Since then, Republicans have repeatedly held the debt limit hostage to secure their demands, including in 2023, when they forced President Joe Biden to claw back investments in the Internal Revenue Service.Bad dump, Blue! ![]()

Akinpedia:Both [must!] should be introduced in a child's diet as early as 3 years old, I propose, least by parents who want the best for their children. By the way I'm looking for a local supplier.

If there is one reason to leave a cheating partner, this is it. They have no respect what their bits catch and don't mind sharing death with you. |
Despite my chess addiction, both are of benefit. Besides, variety is a spice of something, I'm told. Instead of choosing between these two fantastic games, consider incorporating both into your child's learning journey. They offer a unique blend of education and entertainment, fostering essential skills that will benefit them throughout their lives. |
