From all indication and from the list of all governors present when the matter was tabled.

All the 36 states governor agreed on the state police law. Almost all the senators agreed except for that man from Kebbi who lost APC ticket and felt he needed to expose the inner dealings of the President.

However,the guy above me that said northerners and south easterners are against state police...u need to stop being back ward. For many years,the Easterners have been calling for state police more than any region in this country.

Just continue in ur hate. Wetin concern me. My own na to drop the truth and face my business. See as Yoruba land dey boil like hot water.

Don't mind them. One Peter raised concern and to some it's "all Igbos don't want state police".

Please do not tire in dropping the truth and facing your business. You are appreciated by some.

I can not help imagine you wrote similar to what you wrote here to companies too, and I'm not surprised you got no answer. Your "sitting at home" is like waiting for manna to fall into your mouth, which is disqualifying, because, while you are sitting at home, those you are competing for work with are out their increasing their skills and desirability to be hired, such that even you would likely hire them instead of hiring yourself.

I have a job for you.

Learn how to promote your skills to a person who might find you useful.

Employers do not care about your needs. They care about their own needs, which they might hire you to fulfil for them if you show them you can.

You indeed do not understand my point. And that's not your fault, as my point on this issue is spread over many threads.

You mentioned "sane climes". Where I live, there'd be consultation and studies where such has been implemented to see the problems they faced so they can be mitigated against in advance. Nigeria, however, does not consult nor study enough.

You mentioned Texas. Texas, had many cities (or villages even, though they called them towns) at conception in the 1700s, some very far away from each other such that journeys by horse, which is all they had then, took days. That's why each town had a marshall. A federal police would not have worked. A place was not even recognised as a town until they had a marshall and a post office. And some marshalls were very prone to abuse their office, you'd find.

I do not oppose state police. I just want it implemented properly

If I train my daughter to be a president or a chief judge, which would be odd to be honest, even if she does not achieve those goals and only gets half way, she'd be a lot better off than if I did not bother and left it to chance.

But for your information, I've trained my children to have skills that will earn them incomes so they can feed themselves and their own and that they can build on. Apex is for them to determine. They are now training their own children.

I'm very certain that we are talking about the "sane clime of Nigeria", and not some "climes" that have been doing it for decades and have refined it so it now works efficiently.

It definitely didn't work as effectively in Texas when it was first introduced as it does today.
