Nigerians who elected him did not seem to mind. Personally, I hoped he would throw corrupt people in jail for 200 years like he did when he was head of state, but I did not reckon democracy would tie his hands if he wanted to.

You must think Germans are stupid or generous, and can not imagine they would spend that amount of money because they derive benefit from the immigrants they welcome and spend it on settling.

EU law states that everyone fleeing persecution in their home country has the right to ask for international protection, and cannot be removed to their home if there is a serious risk of death or torture.

Lol Bem. Isn't that why we voters must do our due diligence? Some of us here are anti-dump just because our due diligence suggests we should be. He says he isn't going to Project25, but some of us do not believe him. Besides, Tinubu said he would continue where Buhari left off, which he didn't need to say since we already knew he likely would since they are of the same party, and since most cried through bubu's 8 years, I'd wonder why they think they'd rejoice now Tinubu has taken over.

Labour Party is leftish, and more pro-immigrant than most parties here in UK, and anyone who does not know they are must not live here as a good friend of ours here reminds us constantly, or just hasn't done their research, or believed Keir Starmer when he said he would reduce immigration that we know we need.

This entitlement mentality works no where. If NNPC wants the Nigerian public to shares, it has to go public on the NGX stock market like other public companies like Dangote cement, Access, GTCO, Transcorp power, Tantalizer etc. Let's not try to reinvent the wheel.

Unfortunately, NNPC, which I consider to be a national asset, going public would be bought up by those who have the money to buy it just as they did with those companies you listed. And personally, I think NNPC should be owned by all Nigerians as an entitlement and not just the entitlement of a wealthy few. But I did say we should be entitled to 10% just so you don't accuse me of a mentality. The rest can be listed on NGX.

Oh. And for your information, I would not qualify for any part of that 10% and would have to purchase any I want on the NGX.

I was asked earlier today about my opinion about the protests being planned in Nigeria.

Nigerians were given the opportunity to elect the leaders they wanted at the last election, which was our opportunity to protest. But we went with the same ruling party and now seem to have buyers remorse.

The British public democratically chose a more pro-immigrant party at the last election and will not succumb to the desires of very minority Tommy.

That's not how we do it here. Here, going out to protest against a group of people because of their race (and religion or colour or gender or sex) is frowned upon by the majority of us, and will attract opposition. And if you go out protesting against immigrants, immigrants will come out to confront you.

Same as Ukraine wouldn't just sit at home if Russia invades them, and why Israel wouldn't turn the other cheek if Hamas kidnaps them or vice versa.

I did not claim Wale Tinubu has interest in Raz Hansir. Tinubu's interest in Oando does however concern me if it does not align with Nigeria's interest.

I do agree with this part. I also think NNPC should be sold to us Nigerians too. And no, I don't mean to the rich and wealthy alone. Say like 10% of the shares should be allocated to every living Nigerian with provision we can't sell for 10 years. Our vested interest might make us force NNPC to operate better.

Have you taken advantage of the available student loan yet? I ask because you seem to have incurred expenditure (rent) before ensuring you have the revenue to pay for it, which is not exactly good business, and which an education might have helped you know to avoid so your current expenditure could have been saved up to buy equipment.

Of course it might be that the shop is in the family and is rent free, in which case you have assets which you could have used to generate income to purchase the equipment you require.

Lisa Simone Kelly was left in control of all those assets as of 2013, therefore, yes, she was, unceremoniously dispossessed.

Not "control". "Control" implies Lisa decides what the trust's assets are used for, which is not the case, as the trust was set up for the specific purpose of educating African children.

'Manage', would be a more appropriate word, and she was 'found' to have mismanaged.
