DMerciful:I so wish the above were true though I know it obviously isn't, but if it were, the link below is warning so the same thing don't happen next time. https://www.nairaland.com/8112734/david-hundeyin-obi-lose-2027#130277029

DeadCountry:You mean Igbos enabled Fulanis to kill Igbos in Igboland? Now that would be interesting. |
DMerciful:You'd be here in 2027 claiming the election was rigged then too I bet. In fact, I bet you wouldn't even bother to vote because you think your pvc is useless in advance. My hope is that those who think like you do are few.
|
DMerciful:Are you a trump supporter too? He too blames everyone else but his dumb self for not winning the last US election. I find it irresponsible and depowering of the self to blame others instead of finding out where you went wrong and doing better next time. |
DMerciful:I think it is you playing the ostrich by refusing to accept that Nigerians voted and the winner won. I personally can't understand why Nigerians would vote for APC after 8 years of Buhari, but here we are, reaping the consequence of "nonchalancy, docility and carelessness" of the majority who elected the president. Thankfully, na democracy we de, and the next election is in 3 years time when we get another chance to resit the exam again. Hopefully, you won't be here claiming the winner rigged the election if your preferred or the better candidate loses because you didn't do what would make them win. |
OneCandleAway:Oh! You are talking about the ones who come down from heaven like angels from God, my bad. I personally don't know any Nigerian leader whom I can claim cares about the masses more than they seem to care about themselves. I most definitely do not think a billion van governor cares about the masses more than they care about themselves, but as you say, life isn't only about me, though I think those below should think more carefully before they vote next time so they don't elect a satan who doesn't care about them. |
CharleyBright:Farmers in my community are going to farms. We have so many lazy fuqs who want to reap without sowing, so we formed vigilante to catch the modafuqers, and after we caught a few and shariad them, the rest of the lazy fuqs left town or became farm labour. |
This is what people who don't want to eat sawdust do. They get off their lazy ass and grow their own food. Well done you. |
Golan007:I bet it was his kinsmen. https://www.nairaland.com/8114916/gunmen-suspected-herders-kill-16-year-old#130312730 |
Some gunmen suspected to be herdsmenMy cousin told me last night that Igbo people stole all the metal along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. "Haba", I said. "Igbo will be stealing the metal on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and we Yorubas will just be looking and not be stealing our own?" "Ah, what do you know?" He asked me. "Cousin", I said. "I know you are a tribal bigot!" Please change "kidnap" to "murder" in the below. And may the dead rest in peace. budaatum: |
DMerciful:All this stuff you mention was raised in court by my Obi and Atiku and the judge threw it out. If you want more transparency than you currently got, start working now so no one can tipex you. I don't do sour grapes.
|
ovieigho:Neither of them put food on my table, and nor do I expect them to. From the sweat of my brow does my food get on my table, and not by the sweat off the brow of some others. |
DMerciful:I am very certain that if you provide credible evidence where it needs to be considered that our current president rigged the elections we would not be celebrating him and would kick him out of Aso Rock, but barring such evidence, I am not taking your word for it that Tinubu rigged the elections. My Obi lost, period. Next election, I should work harder instead of blaming my opponent for beating me. |
My regards to mama. And well done you. |
wiseoneking:Happy teen birthday to me then, I guess, though I probably did WAEC before you were born and long before NECO was invented. 5 Reasons While Tinubu Will NEVER Be President. Lol! |
maasoap:I grew up in Lagos. We did not have farmland so we made do with the small land we had. I live in a city now and don't have any land at all. And if I tell you what I sometimes plant in my tiny kitchen cupboard police will come and arrest me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WnGkNQAAwR0?si=mNuxFC5Uw49yZwbZ |
DMerciful:Do you watch football? There was this match that Argentina played against England and a certain Maradona scored with his hand of God. Apparently, he had been practising it before, and it worked again and Argentina won while England is till today lamenting that Argentina did not legitimately win. My point is, that cheating might be the same way Tinubu won, and he now occupies Aso Rock, changing our National Anthem and raising vat, and he will serve his 4 years, and 8 if he repeats the same trick in 2027, and I don't see how he could be more legitimate than that. If we want free and fair election where the winner does not win by a foul, we, as in we the people, must make our elections free and fair and devoid of hand balls ourselves so our leaders are legitimate, instead of hoping politicians will all of a sudden be struck by the Gods and have clean hands.

alphaNomega:I very much care that you don't care. If people like you had bothered to use your pvc instead of thinking your vote doesn't count, perhaps we might now have a better leader and gari would be cheaper. My hope is that there are fewer people like you and that most do make their pvc count instead of coming here to wail about gari.
|
Obaofpigs:I wonder why you'd think I said what you think I said when it's obvious I must have heard what people said under Buhari and what is being said under Tinubu. Funny thing is, after Tinubu's term ends and someone else takes over and things get even worse, they'd forget that ebi npa wọn, and be here claiming Tinubu was a Messiah compared just as Buhari is now become a saint. |
I don't think most Nigerians care about which of them is more intelligent. Most are more concerned with who put the most food in their belly. |
Permission to borrow for here please. https://www.nairaland.com/8114699/cheap-alternative-garri/5#130310856 Everything you plant will grow a thousand fold. |
For inspiration. AfroBeatDiary: |
alphaNomega:Please keep believing I don't get it. Please do. |
alphaNomega:You keep telling yourself this alpha till omega comes. Then come crying about sawdust expecting mercy87 from me. |
mercy87:Mercy, do you really think I give a flying fuq if jmoore dies of a lack of gari? Humane is what we were being when we told people to use their pvc wisely. They told us to stop being obidient then and they are now reaping what they sowed while lying that their pvc did not matter. Jmoore, sawdust! |
alphaNomega:This is what I would want you to believe so you don't bother voting for my opponent. Then when I'm declared the winner and you contest it in court, I can show you all those pvcs that were voted for me while people like you didn't even bother. A wise Achebe wrote that the hunter has learnt to shoot without missing. He did not say the bird should give up and die, but should otherwise learn to fly without perching. If the criminals are as smart as you claim, then I should work harder to be smarter. |
RealSean:I love you! |
Everlastingson:Did you hear me cry that I don't have gari or that I am hungry? Perhaps read the thread so people don't think you are the animal here. |
alphaNomega:This is what I would want you who would not vote for me to believe. Meanwhile, I tell those who would vote for me to get their pvc early. That way, while you are sitting there claiming your pvc is useless, I get more votes and win the election and get to rule over you. I call it, intelligent rigging. Though much more than just that is required, as you might note from my recent loss.
|
Fgovernor:Read my response to the person before you where I say were I plant tomatoes on the window sill. The point is, farming does not necessarily need to be crops. With some imagination, some are planting actual money. As for predicting how Nigeria would be in the future, yes, I predicted this future when Shehu Shagari won his second term. Despite knowing there was no way Awolowo could win, it was obvious that how we were going then would lead to where we are now. And not to claim that I am any good at predicting futures, but I predict here now that anyone who thinks it is bad now does not realise how much worse its going to unfortunately get. |
RealSean:I think you need to think a bit more about what you read and separate what you think you read from what I am saying. I am from Osun State. My candidate lost the election. And in the other country where I sometimes live, I plant tomatoes on the window sill.
|
Fgovernor:I started subsistence farming as a tenant. Our landlord was Igbo, so I paid him for use of his land with free access to my ugwu that I grew on his land. It all depends on the amount of land you rent and your relationship with your landlord and how wise hunger makes you. |
