So, Fanni stays. Case against dump continues.

PoliteActivist:I don't agree with Sam Harris whom I don't share a religion with, and I definitely don't agree with Descartes who thinks therefore exists. I exist therefore I think, and my existence is definitely not an illusion considering the amount of effort I need to put in to fuel my continued existence. And to be honest, I'm done with you who thinks you are an illusion. Let me know when you become aware of your existence. |

Aemmyjah:Why would anyone want to disregard "all the molecules plastics, data, language came together without referencing an outside Source"? If you paid to learn about computers and they teach you "a purely naturalistic origin of computers and all the answers must lie within the computer", would you say you got your money's worth or you got scammed? Aemmyjah:I think you are doing godidit with your "believe that intelligence of man came by some disruptions in the brain cells" because you lack knowledge, but I'll give you some so you know. Intelligence of humans came about through the use of the senses to acquire knowledge which gradually grew over the entire human history until it became the intelligence we observe today. There was a time when we could not cure headaches and didn't know what cancer was or what caused malaria and beat drums to communicate with the neighbouring villages, but now we are close to curing cancer and eradicating mosquitoes despite us Nigerians not yet understanding we farm the darn things in our gutters, and we all have phones, so I don't get where you get your "believe that intelligence of man came by some disruptions in the brain cells" from except from some god of yours. |
Aemmyjah:Someone, Aemmyjah. So why say god when you don't know? Aemmyjah:You don't know how high my supposed folly is, and just assume god, so be told here. Aemmyjah:I can just about see you trying to explain what you believe about computers to a computer without actually bothering to learn anything about computers and the phrase, garbage in garbage out springs to mind. I am not a computer, Aemmyjah. And unlike a computer, I can challenge your beliefs by asking you questions and by telling you what I think, and I think Goddidit is antiquated and stupid, and so is very like Adam daily walking naked past the tree of the fruit of knowledge without nourishing himself with it because he believes knowledge would kill him.

Aemmyjah:After many centuries and before Christ, many Egyptians had forgotten how to read the hieroglyphs, and when asked who built the pyramids, they said the gods had built them. And that despite the existence of detailed wage records. Aemmyjah, it is as much folly to claim "to believe that someone must have built it even when we lack knowledge of such" as it is to believe 2+2 =10 because you don't know it equals 4. Apart from the fact that once you've decided to believe, you would not continue seeking knowledge about how the house was built and who built it and why and how it was built, and I could easily exploit your lack of knowledge by giving you ₦2 and then another ₦2 and I wouldn't need to work hard for you to believe I've given you ₦10, which definitely would not be folly for me. |
Download the ‘2024 Appropriation Act FGN Budget Details Volume One’, and read Olusegun Adeniyi's Ningi and the ‘Underground’ Budget. Both might make you trust governments less. |
|
Aemmyjah:Are you saying, to assume there is an intelligent designer to compensate for one's lack of knowledge when one can very easily go learn is folly, Aemmyjah, or that to go learn itself is folly? |
PoliteActivist:So, you that doesn't "actually exist" will not feel pain but your brain that does exist will feel pain? Can you explain how your brain exists without you please, such that it will feel the pain that you don't feel? And note that I do wonder at your fudge thinking that seems to suggest that you that doesn't actually exist can dream and feel pain. |
iLoveYouToo:I love you too. |
PoliteActivist:I know my Lord exists. You'll be sure too once you bother to understand what existence means and how to ascertain whether beings and things exist or not. |
PoliteActivist:Does he know how to read? Surely, that's something? |
First by not relying on government for our daily bread, and second, by not letting tribalism blind us to the reality of Nigeria governance, which doesn't care about tribe. |
pharmbayo:So, I have to be lower cadre before half salary paid every 3-4 months negatively affects me? Meanwhile, his security operatives who were guarding the banks could not stop the hungry people he created by not paying them, who then now came in my farm and harvested all my yam and cocoa which I am indeed sentimental about, and making it uneconomical to farm in Osun State. Sorry, but I don't own a bank. If I did I too would be sentimental about him not letting it get robbed. |
PoliteActivist:My brain is never disconnected, and I am asking you to perform the experiment with your brain, that you claim doesn't actually exist, intact please. You can try the disconnected brain version afterwards. |
PoliteActivist:Yet, you can't exactly state what does the selecting. PoliteActivist:Why did you claim "survival" selects above, and not nature? Does survival or nature select to feed you so don't die of hunger? |
Throughout the trial Dr Wright's legal team argued that if he was not the inventor then the real Satoshi Nakamoto would have come forward to discredit him.How could this possibly have been their argument, lol!

I wonder if it's to do with this https://www.nairaland.com/8030620/internet-disruption-reported-africa

He's an APC ex-governor, so I've booked to see where this goes.
|
Paraman:I don't know if he's lying. What I do know is I'll find out in two weeks. |
It was out in Ghana according to: AdamsMosesOma: |
Paraman:There is no way he could be telling them lies? Guess my place is booked. 2 weeks soon pass. |
PoliteActivist:Place your hand that doesn't actually exist upon a table that doesn't actually exist and hit it hard with a hammer that doesn't actually exist then come and tell me that whatever you feel doesn't actually exist please. Just so you know, this is Philosophy 101. When you advance small you'd get to meet the likes of Heidegger. I strongly suggest you learn more instead of assuming everyone knows nothing like you. |
PoliteActivist:While I am not particularly in the loop of your uncivil conversation with others, I am not out of the loop of the conversation that I am having with you. |
PoliteActivist:This is somewhat true. But with history full of laws that humans have abandoned, we must ask ourselves how well we do discover. Newton’s Law of Gravity was revised by Einstein. Another is Bode's Law that we don't mention anymore. PoliteActivist:This is true. But as far as laws are concerned, as in our human understanding of things, that changes constantly as we learn and know more. We often see this in technology. There was a time when Nigeria had the technology for only 64,000 landlines, but technological changes due to human understanding has put almost 2 phones in every Nigerian's hands. PoliteActivist:I do like this part. Now apply it to nature and laws. We ask 'why', and the search for answers increases our human understanding. Now, and this applies more to you Aemmyjah. If I stopped asking 'why', and conclude "because God", would you say I'm lazy and ignorant and haven't bothered to learn so that I may know? Even if I did say "because God", I should still ask Who, What, Where, When, Why and How regarding this supposed God itself, just as Jesus is written to have taught, or at least as some might conclude from his teaching.

Was your internet down today? Major internet disruption has been reported in various countries across Africa.

LalastiklaIa:I guess you didn't exactly succeed. LalastiklaIa:If you continue after this, don't forget to start again from 1. |
pharmbayo:It's definitely true that no one has done what Aregbe did in Osun. When he did not pay salary, we all ate the only Armour Tank still left in Osun today, and that filled our bellies and helped us pay school fees for our children. But that's me talking politics I guess. Please state what Aregbe did in Osun State.
|
PoliteActivist:But it does! And only fools will disregard reality and insist on sticking with should or shouldn't. Laws are created by humans who don't always have all the information before them, and that is why we and our laws are not rigid. An example is, "In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth". Though I don't think you'd understand it as a 'law', because it doesn't sound like one. That was as far as humans of the day and time were capable of understanding, but today we see and understand better such that some claim there was a big bang when God supposedly said "let there be light". Think of "child" below to mean the entire human race over time, and you might see that we evolve into adults.
