Trump may be arguing wrongly about presidential immunity from prosecution.
I think a president may be prosecuted of a presidential crime after he has been impeached or has left office.
The right argument for Trump is that there was no Trump crime in the first place.

No wrongdoing..

If there was rioting, trespassing or "Insurrection", Trump was not part of it.
Trump was no where near the Capitol on January 6.
The people who turned a peaceful rally violent were on their own.
The reason no wrongdoing is not dump's defense is it's obvious to him that many wouldn't agree.

It would sound like 'sit at home' has nothing to do with Kanu because Kanu was nowhere near the sitting.

In your utopia world, judges, juries and prosecutors are extremely impartial in matters Trump.
You are really dense and misunderstood my last post in response to the shenanigans of the Supreme Court.

What you don't understand is there are many checks and balances against an impartial court, even the Supreme Court, and it's called "We The People".

How true is this

The President is not immune from criminal liability, but he must first be successfully impeached.
No one is considering the immunity of a president. Dump lost!

It seems evident that these decisions are geared towards assisting Trump and potentially postponing the trial until after the election.

Furthermore, if Trump truly believed in his innocence, one would expect him to seek a trial before the election to vindicate himself. The fact that he does not pursue this course of action speaks volumes.
If it's evident to you it likely speaks volumes to millions of others, and I'm willing to bet to the majority, so imagine me with a huge grin on my face.

I find this discussion peculiar. I hold a deep respect for Nigerians and their commitment to academic achievement. So, I am perplexed reading this. It appears that both yourself and Basilico have adopted the worst traits emblematic of American southern right wing culture. Your language evokes imagery of an uneducated white, right wing southerner seemingly envious of not possessing the natural talents required for admission to universities like Harvard.

I find myself somewhat surprised to encounter that ideology here.
The stupid idiot refused to pay schoolfees so he wouldn't get scammed and that's why he can't see his "maths is racist".

Basilico, however, is an alcoholic drunk on the kraken cult.

Lool. Even women will not watch a female F1 season. Not even the wokest feminist

Sports will always be primarily driven by men no matter how inclusive or diverse we want to be
F1 is currently open to both genders. Show you're fast and you'd likely get a drive, and I love it this way.

Many more will watch if a woman beats Verstappen. And in case you haven't noticed, female sport is growing, now that male oppression is recognised.

Do you truly hold that belief?

I don't mind individuals making considerable efforts to demonstrate empathy towards others. However, when such efforts result in unfair treatment towards others, it becomes problematic.
I would like to hope I do hold that belief. I do admire it in others, and emulation is not far off I'd think.

I prefer unfair treatment by those the Democrats bent over for and towards the Democrats. If Democrats are unfair to others as the Republicans are, the cases against dump would have definitely been unfair, and I'd have found myself having to defend dump from the unfairness.

The American justice system is well developed enough to determine fairness and I would hope the majority of Americans can too. I'd find out at next election.

I do agree with the notion of ignoring certain people. I don't know the people here, and engaging in back-and-forth exchanges seems fruitless to me. Especially considering that the moderation on this platform is lacking.
Moderators tried and failed and the alternative of shutting it down hurts their metrics, so everyone learns to separate wheat from chaff in the end.

DaHighLife:
I believe Democrats often strive excessively to appear fair. Though I can see merit in that perspective this time, unfortunately, this tendency to bend over backwards is characteristic of Democrats.
I so love this tendency of the Democrats not only to be fair but to bend over backwards, which shows empathy. And I appreciate their awareness of long term gains much more than the maga alternative of "damn tomorrow, drill baby now!"

Fanni should just step down from this because she's burnt. But there is a certain Thomas Clarence I suppose.

Where Is The Garden Of Eden Located On Earth?
Currently Eden is located in Nigeria, where far too many Adams so fear death that they refuse to plant fruits of knowledge not to talk of nourish themselves with it.

But a day will come when an Eve will cultivate the fruit of knowledge, and pluck and eat it when it is ripe, to test if she would surely die, only to find it good for gaining wisdom and for opening eyes and for learning to make clothes, then would she free Nigerians from slavery in Eden where we will be self employed, or rather, sweat for our food, and hopefully evolve into those created in the images of the gods with the ability to rule and subdue and multiply.

I do not think "she might be guilty of criminal acts", my Lord!

"If they find her guilty of a crime", I said, they being the court, then she must pay for her crime. But note she is not currently being charged for committing any crime, yet.

I do not think her choice of partner is a crime, though it is unwise under the circumstances, and it will compromise her case against dump even if she's not thrown off it, which is a shame.

When they knew what next year holds
Stop Hamilton taking photos of the hood of a Silver Arrows why? And how you gonna stop a Ferrari and dick and harry person taking same photos at every race track?

Hood is not the Silver. There's internally workings and culture of Mercedes that is far more valuable. Ferrari is trying to repeat Schumacher bringing them German knowhow and work ethics.

I'm so glad you noticed, and hope you realise the magas here are just copying his juvenile lame tactic, which is one reason I like Biden ignoring his tantrums so much instead of making him relevant as some do magas here by giving them the attention they crave.

Fanni is caught between a rock and a hard place, and can't (shouldn't) resign, so the court must decide. And if she's thrown out and dump wins (gets a delay), ce la vie, since one can't choose to trust the justice system only when it goes against dump.

Nothing that I can think of so far apart from not exactly being wise in choosing a partner under the circumstances, which isn't a prisonable crime I don't think. Still, if they find her guilty of a crime they should make her do the time.

And, is it the leaders or the system of government? Which is your problem?

My question to you is, if you clearly lack understanding of the details here, as you evidently do, why invest so much time discussing and perpetuating misinformation instead of dedicating that time to learning about it?
For the attention he gets, that's why he's here. And to stop constructive conversations from going on least we achieve anything worthwhile like learn from each other.

DaHighLife:
I've spent a considerable amount of time recently rebutting conspiracy theories propagated by Basilico and now bemeurca, who inundate this thread with such misinformation. It's time consuming. More so, constructive comments are drowned out by the influx of falsehoods and conspiracies, making for an unproductive and unenjoyable discussion space. I'll check back later, hoping they'll have found more constructive uses of their time. Cheerio
And this shows how successful they are. Because, instead of conversing with those who might be worth one's attention and considerable amount of time and might have learned something, some spend their time giving attention to the naughty kids in class who don't want to learn and don't want others to learn, sadly.

It's bad teachers falling for strategy straight out the qanon playbook.

So, what's sup with Christian Hot Horner....Hot over text messages

Shd RedBull sack Horner cos of a staff that has zero input to the team or sack the manager who has been with them since day one n won them everything?

Should formula one become a 100% male sports?
If Horner is found to be as Hot as he's accused of being he will be sacked. No team would survive the taunts they'd get from F1 fans if he's kept regardless of their success. Staff would be demoralised and advertisers and fans would abandon them in droves, and they'd not find good replacements easily.

As for F1 becoming a 100% male sport, first replace 'male' with 'black' and perhaps see the absurdity besides it being against the current trend promoting inclusivity.

Even men would be forced to abandon watching F1 when their wives' call them pigs, and F1 management would need to replace venues in the Middle East that are currently letting women drive cars, and that would be apart from the rest of the world that wouldn't allow a male F1.
