Omobude244: An hausa man will never allow a woman to rule them Not yet perhaps. First step is to educate Nigerians that a competent woman is able to rule Nigeria and definitely better than an incompetent man. And that's what democracy does, educate. After many elections of voting for incompetent leaders and suffering the consequences of our choices, we will consider a competent able woman one day when the Gods will insha'Allah. |

G00dharddick: Millions of Nigerians will vote massively for a woman to rule. The problem is Yorubas and Yoruba Muslims. The link in my last was from a Christian who thinks women are evil, so I don't think the problem here is Yorubas or Muslims. Nigerians on the whole are not ready for a female president yet, considering how few female governors we have had so far. And to be honest, the bigotry in your responses makes me think you would not vote for a competent Yoruba woman neither, but I'm hopefully wrong about you. |

G00dharddick: Sadly Yoruba Muslims will rather gnash their teeth to death than to allow Okonjo iweala to rule. They deceived the rest Yorubas into hating everyone and other tribes. They deceived Yorubas to bring in the drug lord everyone is suffering from today Wish I could claim a religion with my Yorubaness to prove you wrong again. Pity is, most Nigerians would not vote a woman as President of Nigeria. And the beauty is it is we who will reap the dividends of our own misvoting. |

They'll rather die than to allow her or a sane mind to rule. They prefer the drug criminal to anyone else I am a "Yoruba People" from Osun State. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala for President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria! |

Christianity Etc › Re: Eve Was Not Adam's Helper by budaatum: 3:58pm On Feb 16, 2024 |
Techobeys: This is why women were not often recorded in the lineage of a family in many ancient societies as is seen in the bible because a woman’s purpose in life was believed to be merely to help a man procreate. Once a man has procreated, he has no need for the woman and a woman who could not serve this purpose was useless.
For example, Adam and Eve had more than Cain and Abel at the early part of their life but these were not counted because they were women, making us wonder who Cain married. Even when Jesus fed the multitude with 5 loaves of bread, only the men were counted, and the women were not considered important to be counted. Women were not recorded because men, who were stronger and the hunters for food and owner of resources, considered them the weaker sex, and this informed the lie about Eve in Genesis, despite both male and female being created equally in 1. Eve did not only help Adam. She educated him to use his own senses instead of merely believing eating fruits of knowledge would kill him. And like a man who finds a good woman, she freed him from naked slavery in Eden, and made them self-employed from where we read they populated the entire earth. If Jesus had not had an educated Mary as his mother, he would have ended up a mere carpenter at best.

kimco: That is not all you need to confirm that it's real. If both of you saw a man walking on air or water and you confirm the next person is seeing it too, you will believe without any investigation that indeed they are walking on water? Just because the other person agrees with you? Dude be skeptical in life. You will find out a lot in life this way. You won't be easily deceived as well. You should not expect that others use their mind as diligently as you do. Just see how Adam is written to have believed he would die if he nourished himself with fruits of a tree of knowledge while Eve disbelieved and bother to check with her own senses, and thereby freed herself and Adam from naked ignorant slavery. Both went on to live some 800 years afterwards, we read, during which they are written to have populated the entire earth. |

Considering he's likely spent the money World Bank gave him and Nigeria, I doubt he could have reneged without needing to pay it back.
