Denomination of currency is not what made our currency lose value or anything expensive. What makes a currency lose value is people not adding value to their exports.. If Nigeria exported petrol instead of importing it, our currency would be worth more than it currently is worth. We are so bad at adding value that one can't buy a Nigeria made chocolate bar! |
Freeze007:Sorry, but I can't do "we" with you on this. And you'd need to go bring your leader. Sex is as old as life itself is what I know, and even plants have sex to reproduce. It's called pollination. |
Freeze007:No I'm not. If I were you'd be able to quote where I said such nonsense. |
Freeze007:Do you seriously expect me to believe this? Surely you'd need to provide more evidence than you just saying so. |
azraeljaheel:What she has is proper priorities. Instead of feeding a phone or satisfying immediate needs, she prefers to work. |
Some threads are clearly created to point out how little one knows. |
I'd spend some of that money internetifying the Orolu Local Government Library, after razing it down and rebuilding it as a 2 storey building with solar panels for electricity. Many of my people would likely not be pleased, preferring I bring them the money make dem chop am, but considering the number of people who have already benefitted, I gladly would. Then I'd buy myself a good motorbike for going to my farm because the road is so bad and riding a bike at on it at 100Kph is to die for.

Zonefree:Note how it's last on the list. Still worth watching, especially if you're the sort who prefers to make up your own mind. |

A network of illegal oil pipelines being unearthed in Nigeria's Niger Delta region has revealed the extent of oil theft in the country, astounding even the most cynical about Nigeria's obscure but hugely lucrative oil industry. In Delta state, thieves built their own 4km- (2.5 mile) long pipeline through the heavily guarded creeks to the Atlantic Ocean. There, barges and vessels blatantly loaded the stolen oil from a 24-foot rig visible from miles on the open waters. "It was a professional job," said the head of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC), Mele Kyari, wading through the swamps as he retraced the slick path during a televised visit to the scene. Crude oil is Nigeria's main export but production, and revenue, has been dwindling for years because of thieves, authorities say. Oil production fell from 2.5 million barrels per day in 2011 to just over a million in July 2022, according to the regulator. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-63314545.amp

worksmart:Actually, I remember no such rubbish! What weakens Africa is many Africans not using their brains and minds to strengthen themselves and their African nations, while adopting the sort of irresponsible blame culture you have expressed above!

saxywale2:She's always been action woman. |
Your question really is, can you employ your wife without her applying for the job, which makes me wonder why you want her to apply if you want to employ her? As for your actual question, Can I Employ My Wife Without Appointment Letter, that really is your choice. You can after all write your wife an employment letter saying "you're hired, you will work from so to so, and be paid X amount", or you can tell her that verbally. Formal documents wouldn't make you trust your wife since you don't trust her already, which begs the question, why did you marry her if you don't trust her? |

basilico:Of Indian origin, to be precise. And where's the lie? |
Dtruthspeaker:Not every person is normal. A person who just believes the information they are given has not processed anything. Dtruthspeaker:I think you intended to write "However, such processing of information is influenced...." Because information itself is just data, and the only thing influencing it if anything, is it's giver and it's receiver. Dtruthspeaker:As in, by the fruits shall we tell if it is good or evil. |
Dtruthspeaker:We have not moved. It is part of the discussion, which may go in any direction. |

Boris Johnson Withdraws From RaceThis is actually funny. Anyone who thought Boris stood a chance must also believe those who chose him are suicidal, because his and his party's end would have been worse than Truss' or any damage she could have done to her party if he'd won this contest. UK would have dabaru completely, and Brits would have gone on permanent strike until an election were held instead of waiting for the next scheduled election in January 2025. |
